We paid for our shades and installation on 5/3/25, today is 8/8/25 and the install is yet to be completed, and they can't find time to fit us in until the end of September. Measurements taken by their employee were ignored when making the shades. I have been asked to miss work 4 times for in home appointments, 2 additional then needed (at this point), because of their mistakes. After having an installer who could not finish the install at the first appointment we waited 6 weeks for another appointment and they sent an installer in training, by himself, who did not have the necessary skills to finish the install either, knowing full well what was necessary for the appointment, ridiculous. Now waiting another 6 weeks. Shelly has ZERO concept of customer service, multiple times telling us that delayed responses were because the display room was busy. In other words, a customer who has paid multiple thousands of dollars with them is not important enough to take 5 minutes to respond to an email. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE

We placed the order and 3 weeks later Chris was installing the shades. After the installation Chris put everything on the Bliss app, he tested all and then gave us the tutorial. Everything worked perfectly. One month later one shade dropped off the app( probably due to a WiFi issue). I texted Chris after hours and he was out the next morning to add this shade. This was a wonderful customer service experience and I would recommend Blooming Blinds to anyone for quality of the product, price of the product and an outstanding customer service experience after the sale.

Their showroom was very helpful because we could go there and see various options in person and view how the automation alternatives actually worked. Their in-home visit enabled us to choose materials and colors right in the environment where the blinds would be installed. We choose automated blinds that change position relative to the sunrise and sunset so that we have the perfect combination of light and privacy in our family room with window walls on three sides. We can also control our blinds with Amazon's Alexa or Apple's Siri. This shows the kind of experience that we appreciate. We are so glad to hear that they have relocated to Wilmette, closer to us.
