Chet was our main contact and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Low pressure, great suggestions for the project, and Chet kept on top of things throughout the process. The price was very competitive. The work performed was outstanding and we are very happy with the result. The team that did the installation was led by Ricardo Orozco, who was nothing short of a master craftsman. He took great pride in his work and it shows in the high quality results. He and his team were pleasant and professional throughout, were responsive to our questions as the project progressed, and they finished the job in a timely and beautifully installed manner. I very highly recommend 3D Brick Paving.

But the replacement of the cement walk to the garage, and the old concrete slab by the garage, exceeded our expectations. The slab was in horrible condition, broken up, and uneven, undoubtedly due to tree roots. Ricardo and his team removed all of the old cement as well as the offending roots and replaced them with an attractive floor. Needless to say, it is a tremendous improvement. The staff from 3D were very easy to work with, from Frank who came out to set up the work, Alex who helped me with the building permit, to Ricardo who led the team. Ricardo saw to it that the job was done well and even did a couple of things we hadn't even thought to ask for, like adding a step down from the back door. I highly recommend this business.

We never received the estimate. We emailed and called to follow up. We heard nothing. What a waste of time! Follow-Up: 8 minutes after posting this review we received the estimate. $6000 for a bathroom window! In person at the time of estimate he said it would be about $2,000. The window is not a premium window. We looked up the brand, out of the 4 levels of windows, it is second from the bottom in quality. An estimate should include your bottom number of the work to be done. No thank you!

I called multiple places trying to find someone to come out and assess the damage and fix it. A number of places never brothered responding, and a couple actually set up appointments and then didn't show up. After hunting around for more places to call that were decently rated, I came across Holda Construction and I am so glad that I did. They called me back promptly to discuss and asked me to send pictures. After I sent photos, they got in touch and set up a time to come out for a quote within an hour, for the next day. Mariusz came out the next day, as promised (he even called to see if he could come a little earlier than scheduled) and assessed the situation. He explained the options and what his recommendation was- but there was no pressure to agree to the work on the spot- he just asked that I call and let him know if I wanted to move forward, His quote was extremely fair and better yet, he was able to start the work within the week. When I had questions on the contract he sent over, he immediately called to talk through them, and sent an updated quote the same day. The work took two days- the guys took care of everything, including a very thorough clean up- no debris to be found! And our new garage roof and gutters look great- and we now know that they have been properly installed, so we shouldn't have a repeat of the same issues we had experienced before. I cannot say enough good things about the experience with Holda Construction. When we need the house roof and/or windows done, they will ones we call- no question. Highly recommended!

I hired A-1 PAM Plastering & Remodeling to perform drywall installation and paint work totaling…read moreover $7,000. Unfortunately, the experience was characterized by poor workmanship, incomplete repairs, and egregiously sloppy finishing. All of the labor was performed by a subcontractor, and at no point did the owner return to inspect the work. After initially claiming the work was complete, multiple significant issues remained unresolved. These included visible drywall seams, unpatched or poorly sanded corners, baseboards that were improperly cut and reinstalled, trim that was left broken and unpainted, dropped paint splotches left on flooring, doors, and fixtures, and a black door incorrectly repainted without consent. Furniture was also moved back against wet paint, causing damage. I gave the company *two additional opportunities* to correct these issues. Each time I was pressured to make full payment before the paint had even dried or a final walkthrough could be done. Despite these return visits, many problems remained completely unaddressed. At that point, I had lost confidence in their willingness and ability to complete the work properly. I ultimately accepted a 15% reduction (a $1,000 discount) from the total in order to bring the matter to a close. I now face the cost and hassle of hiring someone else to correct a long list of remaining problems that will certainly exceed the cost of the small discount. I would also like to point out that Yelp has filtered 17 reviews as "not recommended," which it has deemed less reliable, written by friends of the business, or sent from the same computer, compared to the reviews that made it through the filters. Combined with their poor work quality and intimidation tactics (see below), it leaves me questioning the legitimacy of many the other reviews. Worse yet, within minutes of posting this review, I received a call from the owner. Rather than take any responsibility, he began by sarcastically thanking me for the "nice review," then proceeded to yell, insult me, and claim it was unfair. I asked him whether he thought anything I had written was inaccurate or untrue. He did not say that it was. Instead, I was told that I shouldn't have posted it after we had "settled." That call reinforced everything I had already concluded about the company. My review is not about a disagreement over money--it's about warning others of the shoddy workmanship and unprofessional conduct I experienced. I cannot in good conscience recommend A-1 PAM for any home renovation work.
