We didn't actually get services but things went left before we could get started. I called and left a vmail to set up a consultation and I got a call back a week later to set up an appointment. The rep I spoke to sounded like she was asleep through the conversation, but the appointment was scheduled a week after that. After the call I realized she didn't tell me the time window someone would arrive so I called a few days bedore the appt to get confirmation. Didn't get a call back until the morning of the appointment from Alex letting me know he would be arriving in about an hour. When his estimated arrival time was approaching I sent him a text letting him know to let me know when he arrives so I can let him through the garage door then we can head to the basement. After that, I stepped away for just a few mins and when I came back downstairs I saw that he called and texted that he was here. I ran to the garage and also the front door to see where he was but he was no where to be found. I called him back and he said he left because "you didn't answer the phone", "it looked like no one was home", and "I have a busy schedule". That's absurd and what kind of business runs like that?! Just a few minutes had passed but even then, he didnt think to ring the doorbell? I told him we would get services elsewhere and that was the end of the convo. If the interaction was like this before the consultation could even happen I can't imagine how it would be when work is performed and he has my cash in his hand. Will happily go elsewhere. I was nervous about using them anyway as the pics on the website showing crack repairs looked sloppily done to me, and this validated my concerns. We have lived in an old house with a scary brick basement for 20 years and it's time to move. Based on our real estate agent's advice, we contacted more than a dozen foundation companies, structural engineers, and masonry experts in an attempt to find a reasonable and cost effective solution for any problems that potential buyers would encounter. I don't like to give out bad yelp reviews, and I always ignore the ones I see that are given by disgruntled potential customers when they carp at the tradesperson not showing up or not giving an estimate. But I encountered this frustration every time I reached out to our basement company. I left multiple messages from multiple companies, and even had people come out and survey the premises who then never got back to me with proposals until I had to call and remind them that we needed them. When we met Alex, we had only gotten one real estimate from a person who didn't take any measurements, looked around for about 10 minutes, and quoted us five figure price. Not in writing. Alex was the antithesis of this guy. He explained what we were looking at, told me what he needed, and when he eventually got us our estimate, it was a much more manageable sum. I'm not going to tell you who those people are. I'm going to tell you that Alex is the guy who will be getting the proposal to you and he is the one who got the job done for us. He came out, he looked around, he told us confidently that he could do what we asked him to do, suggesting some other methods that might even improve the problems we were looking at, and put together a quote that he personally hand-delivered to our house the next day. He originally thought the job was going to be a three day one, but remember, our basement is scary. It morphed into a full week of hard work. But each day, the guys came in cheerfully, worked hard to apply paint over stubborn areas that didn't want to take it, and left her basement looking more friendly and scary. Once the job was over, I realize that we didn't have any additional paint for future touchups, should we need them. I texted Alex, and once again, he drove all the way out the next day to hand deliver the extra paint from our job that he had taken home. Look, I'm never going to give anyone a bad review because they didn't have their shit together and couldn't get out to my house to look at a problem I was having. But I do want to recognize the people who go above and beyond to give superior service at a reasonable price, and Alex is that guy. He cares about the work he does and it shows in his workmanship and demeanor. I hope you don't have a scary basement like we do, but if you do, definitely check to see if there's something he can do to help you. read more

Sorry it took me so long to write this review. But I didn't want Alex's excellent workmanship to go unrecognized. I had a foundation crack in my basement office space a couple months ago. I called all over the place trying to find someone ANYONE to come out and fix it. Each day that went by, my basement was getting more soaked! After so many failed attempts, I reached out to Foundation Crack Fixers, and Alex managed to squeeze me in right away. We needed him to look at a property and make a determination whether or not the foundation was leaking. We told him up front we needed someone with a Contractors license and the License number needed to be on the recommendation letter. A day later we get the letter, no licensing information. When I texted him and said that we needed that license information and he should find it he told me never to text him again. He did finally find his license, he has a business license not a contractors license and really poor customer service. Who screws up and then says don't text me anymore? Sadly I'd already had this repaired by a different company before but it wasn't done right. I had Alex come out to look at some seepage issues as well as a poorly placed/constructed drain that was causing water to go around it and pool at my door jamb. Alex was the 5th person to come look at it and had the most logical, least invasive way of repairing the issue. Others suggested destroying the existing concrete and installing a new drain, impossible/extremely expensive due to the heated floors embedded in the concrete. He was on time, fast and responsive to messages. Hes reliable and responds to texts, and he was readily available. I've already referred him to other friends to fix cracks in their basement walls and they have completely dry basements after Alex visited them.
