My husband and I have traveled all over the United States and I have to say this is probably the most perfect bed and breakfast . The owner Jon, pays attention to details . First the bed was so comfortable , with wonderful soft sheets with an angora blanket . The breakfast was wonderful . If you come to west Dover , there is no need to stay anywhere else . We stayed in the Evergreen room which had a fireplace in the room and jetted tub which was much needed after a day of skiing. My only complaint was the pillows were not so comfortable. They had complementary bottled water cookies and coffee in the room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good and their dog Josie greeted us daily. We loved it and we'll be back soon!!

The attention to detail in the room and the Inn made for a nice relaxing weekend. The room had a jetted tub, fireplace, outside private deck and super comfy bed. The linens and pillows were soft like clouds. The personal touches like the robes or make-up face cloths were those little unexpected things you appreciate. The owners Ariana and Scott were so gracious and accommodating. Josie their pup was friendly especially during breakfast. :) I have food restrictions and they were able to accommodate all of them. The breakfast was delicious homemade everything...cinnamon chips scones, omelets, bacon, coffee and tea etc. YUM!! Did I say how immaculate the room and common areas in the Inn? By far the cleanest and most organized B&B I've ever stayed at and I have been to a lot. The location is perfect for people wanting adventure or just a nice relaxing day or both. We took advantage of the location and went on a 5 mile hike which was wonderful. We relaxed with a bottle of wine and a nice hot bath after the hike. It was perfect. It is absolutely hilarious for people watching and there are tons of cool locals to talk to. The drink prices are reasonable but when I visited, they were only accepted cash. This is a charming inn to stay where the owners greet you and treat you like family. No, it's not a…read moreluxury hotel with elevators and carpeted floors to cancel footsteps in the rooms above you, but old time charm has been restored and the beds are comfortable and cozy. Each bedroom has its own bedroom, but some bedrooms are tiny and some very large. (I was given one of the large room seen in the photo.) However, this isn't the kind of place where you'll hang out in your room. There are big, comfy chairs and couches by a warm wood fireplace in the winter and tables and chairs out on the patio and front porch to sit and enjoy the view in clear weather. So think warm and welcoming, not quiet luxury when choosing Gray Ghost Inn. And you'll love the made to order breakfastS each morning!
