I visited CarMax probably at least 10 times to test drive cars, transferred cars in from other locations, etc. and Carl helped me through the whole process and ultimately helped me find my absolute perfect car. I will refer everyone I know to this CarMax because of the exceptional service from him and everyone there.

The "customer first" image is pushed hard, but as an employee, it often felt like numbers and quotas came first--by a mile. Cars were rushed through inspections to meet deadlines, and there was always pressure to move inventory, even when it clearly needed more attention. That famous "125-point inspection"? Let's just say it's more about checking boxes than actually checking the car. Management varied wildly--some tried their best, others were more interested in micromanaging or playing favorites. Advancement felt more political than performance-based, and good employees were often overlooked while others coasted by doing the bare minimum. If you're thinking of buying a car here, double-check everything and don't rely too heavily on the CarMax "stamp of approval." If you're considering working here, just know that the culture isn't nearly as polished as the commercials make it seem. Disappointed to leave with such a bitter taste, but I can't say I'm surprised. May god look over this company and renew its workforce and maybe they can stay true to there words .

WARNING. GIANCARLO MOTTA and IVAN MOTTA AKA AUTO SOURCE GROUP are CON ARTISTS…read more I purchased a 2002 Porsche 911 Turbo X50 from Giancarlo Motta at Auto Source Group on July 7th 2020. I live in California and worked with Giancarlo via telephone and internet to complete the purchase. Giancarlo was initially very friendly and assured me the car was in perfect condition. We agreed on a price, and agreed that the car would be inspected by Parkhaus1 Porsche in Miami (an independent dealer) prior to shipment to California. In our contract we also agreed that any issues discovered during the inspection would be paid for and repaired by Auto Source Group. "It is Seller's duty to ensure that the Acquired Vehicle is delivered in the same condition as when last inspected by the Buyer plus the completed Acquired Vehicle Repairs." When the car went to Parkhaus1 Porsche for inspection. The technicians immediately identified loud rattling noises coming from the transmission. It was abnormal and very obvious. As a next step, they would need to remove the transmission to diagnose the problem. Now unable to send a car that failed inspection, Giancarlo agreed to have Parkhaus1 Porsche remove the transmission to identify the problem. When the transmission was removed, it was found that the issue was inside and likely serious. The transmission would have to be taken apart, diagnosed and repaired. When the transmission was opened, it was found to have damage throughout. Multiple bearings, plus first, second and third gear all needed to be replaced. Here's a complete list of the damaged parts. They also provided photos of the damage. 1 PINION BRG (4POINT) 370.00 1 PINION BRG (ROLLER) 585.00 1 PINION BRG (CASE) 565.00 1 PINION BRG (REAR) 410.00 1 INPUT SHAFT BRG (4POINT) 425.00 1 INPUT BRG (ROLLER) 410.00 1 INPUT BRG (CASE) 410.00 2 DIFF SIDE BRGS 240.00 2 SYNCROS 1ST & 2ND 190.00 1 SYNCRO 3RD 190.00 1 Labor 1850.00 With the damage now documented, Giancarlo immediately backtracked on our agreement, stating that he wanted to cancel the sale. he wanted Parkhaus1 Porsche to put the car back together un-repaired so he could sell it to someone else, presumably without telling them about the transmission issues. I had already paid for the car, and I have a contract stating that Auto Source Group will make any needed repairs. Furthermore, I don't like the idea that Auto Source Group wants to sell a damaged vehicle to another unsuspecting buyer. Parkhaus1 Porsche was also shocked that Auto Source Group would try to do this. It is completely unethical. Per our agreement, I have asked Giancarlo to complete the repairs and deliver the car. Giancarlo refuses, and after three months, has still not followed through on our contract. He has my entire payment for the Porsche of $50,000. Auto Source Group is dumping good looking, but damaged cars on unsuspecting buyers. They are selling the cars As-Is No Warrantee, hoping that customers don't do a proper inspection. With nearly three months gone by, the car is still sitting in Miami with transmission out. Auto Source Group is holding $50,000 of my money and refuses to make the repairs. I have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue with them and they ignore me. My attorney is now filing suit for damages with Florida Attorney General. WARNING. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS.

WARNING TO FLORIDA CONSUMERS -- CARVANA…read more In March 2026 I purchased a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Carvana for $29,990. Within four days and 250 miles the brakes were violently shaking and the AC was failing. Two independent certified mechanics and Carvana's own warranty provider Silver Rock confirmed all four brake rotors were warped and dangerous and the AC system had an active refrigerant leak. Here is what makes this worse -- Carvana's own 150-point inspection conducted just 15 days before the sale certified eight safety-critical items as passing. Every single one was confirmed defective. What Carvana did: Sold me a vehicle with dangerous safety defects that their own inspection missed or ignored Took my trade-in keys before I could access the replacement vehicle -- preventing any real inspection or test drive Required me to drive a vehicle with confirmed defective brakes on public roads as a condition of returning it -- with full knowledge of those defects Offered no accountability for the failed inspection Never compensated for approximately $2,000 in permanent financial losses resulting from the transaction What I did: Filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau (ID# 24692878) Filed a formal complaint with the Florida Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division Filed a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission Sent a certified mail rejection of their arbitration clause preserving my right to pursue legal action After extensive documentation and escalation Carvana ultimately returned my money. But the inspection failure, the dangerous drive requirement, and the trade-in key practice that prevents customers from test driving their vehicle remain completely unaddressed and unacknowledged. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Carvana -- do your research first. Get an independent inspection immediately upon delivery. Document everything. And know your rights under Florida's consumer protection laws. #Carvana #ConsumerWarning #FloridaConsumers #FDUTPA #BuyerBeware

Arrived at the time of appointment and greeted with a sales reps that didn't know the meaning of a smile. Then only to find out the car we came to see wasn't available at the dealer and it was at the west palm beach location going through an inspection! Why??? Why confirm appointments and why post the vehicle being available at Doral when it wasn't. False advertisement and bait and switch tactic likely. However, luckily my son was also interested in other vehicles at the location so it kinda worked out. Another issue as well was their key management system as they seem to have a hard time finding keys for the car we where interested in and when found and ready for a test drive, they had trouble finding keys for cars that were blocking us in. Advice to call the dealer directly to confirm availability compared to dealing with the online customer service. And be prepared to wait! Everything else is also true about other reviews with the high dealer fees of $1299 and a mandatory protection plan that's $1699 which along with sales tax and title and tag fees will likely add $4000-$5000 extra for your out the door price. Although it's all extra fluff, it's common with many dealers so continuing your search for a car anywhere else you may encounter similar outrageous fees.

He handled every detail like a total pro -- organized, responsive, and genuinely kind. Doral Hyundai is a high-volume dealership, and yet Rudy delivered personalized, white-glove treatment that would impress even the most discerning luxury-brand shopper. We definitely didn't make it easy on him -- we questioned features, specs, even the AWD (which was clearly labeled on the vehicle!). But Rudy never lost patience or momentum. just kept solving, reassuring, and following through. If you're looking for top-tier service with real heart, ask for Rudy at Doral Hyundai. He's proof that big dealerships can still offer boutique-level care.

I BEG YOU, DO NOT SHOP OR SERVICE YOUR VEHICLE HERE…read more There is a reason that Miami has the reputation it has as the scam capital of the world, and places like this are exactly why. This is your typical Miami sleazy sales pipeline where the stereotypical dudebro sales representatives in too-tight dress pants treat you like royalty if you're there to buy something, and will literally toss you aside like a finished cigarette once they got the sale. All I needed to do was get my vehicle services for a "Check ABS" issue that was covered under warranty, and now down multiple hours, emails, and phone calls with god knows how many different departments trying to get a reimbursement for a tow service that should never have been charged to me in the first place. Wasted three full work-days con estos gusanos. Genuinely, save your time, save your stress, save your hair follicles, do not come here.
