They don't charge the typical $100 start up fee that most moving companies do, they always provide wardrobe boxes & for any girl that is a huge help. I was so nervous the first time I moved, I have a very large vanity with marble & a full size body mirror, it has a significant mount of sentimental value to me and I was moving to the 3rd floor with no elevator. Cedric and his team took my vanity apart and wrapped it by piece by piece with care. It made it safely to my apartment and right out this time as I moved into my new place. I would recommend this company to anyone. They will work hard and fast, take care of all of your belongings and at the same time not charge you a crazy amount as a result.

Houston Movers "As Good as it Gets" says it all. Latin Movers has moved me, my family and my…read morefriends countless times. I wish I could review for each one. I guess that would be up to them. The 1st and most important part is- no hidden fees. Upstairs, Refrigerators, Safes, etc, they never hit with an additional fee of any kind. I did agree, on a couple occasions, to pay a gas charge. But the circumstances were still all too kind on their part. I had them move from my house to my office, to a storage and back to another house. It was ridiculous on my part, and I agreed to an additional $40.00 gas. They had a 22 ft truck, so they still lost money. If I would have known that then I would have given them even more. (oops.) I've always been allowed to speak directly to the owner to arrange the move. I also always request Leo on every move. Furthermore, they have never broken a single item. NOthing has ever come up missing. When I had them do a company move, changing offices, I had to request a copy of their insurance and they provided it, no problem. On personal moves, They put together the beds, the tv stands and entertainment centers beneath the big screens. They don't put together the electronic part or hang the televisions, etc. Bonus: I don't have to unpack dressers, file cabinets, etc. They use giant saran wrap and wrap it around everything, so it will stay closed. So I use less boxes. Sometimes I ask for 3 movers at a time, sometimes 2. Just depends. Small variance in price. On the big jobs it's more cost efficient. They won't pack anything. And since you're charged by the hour, do realize if you are packing and they are waiting, it is on the clock. I learned that on my 1st move. It was a "shazaaam" moment for me. Besides the cheapest, they are the best too. No frills, but an honest move that will exceed your expectations.

I did not get as angry as I did when I realized that this is not paint on the front of my washer…read moreand dryer but paint inside of scrapes/scratches on the front glass that wont come off and a dent in the top of my dryer. I tried to understand you coming at 6:55 instead of 3:30 and the fact you called at 2:39 to tell me you would be late because you were still in Conroe. You said it woudl be around 5:30/6 ish. I tried to understand you leaving my family hub refrigerator & telling me that you don't remove those doors because you have to cut the water line. Although I told you it was never hooked up. Seriously, We can't be the only people with this type of fridge. So at that point it is nearing 8:15 and I am exhausted and have no clue what to do about a fridge that has to be moved. All I know is I have to leave the property and it's too late to call anyone else. I tried to accept that my bed magically fell apart & 5 screws at the same time came loose. When my husband went back to retrieve the refrigerator the next morning, guest what he found near the elevator 2 more of the same screws with the plywood in it. EXACT screws. You lied. You said it the reason they came out is because one side had 5 screws and the other had 9. Total BS. you dropped that side of the headboard on the step, knocking the screws out of the particle board. They did not come a loose! No such thing as all the screws loosing at one time. Even though you half ass attempted to screw it back together. I even tried to accept that you didn't even try to remove the legs of my couches but left my love seat in my formal dining room & at my husbands request left the larger one in my garage because it was just too much going wrong & he just wanted it over. I even went out this morning & picked up the trees branches that were left behind from your truck. But this washer & dryer... when do you feel that you may have not done the best job for us, yet accepted all of our money. You may be defensive about this review but this is advice you should take. Do not move someone after sundown. Just cancel the appointment or don't overbook. At night you can't see the damage that's been done to someone's property and they can't see either. As a certified, professional and insured mover you know better. I have learned my lesson. I will cancel anyone trying to move me at night. I didn't deserve what I woke up to. Especially after you only had to move 2 beds, 2 dressers, 2 night stands, a washer and dryer, 2 TVs , 2 lawn chairs, a sofa, a couch and a dang bike. All, which was at the front of the house for you. Except the 4 mattresses/box spring. And still you left the fridge. These appliances were never used and thank God they have pictures from the initial delivery service, so their is proof they were delivered without any scratches to the glass or dents. So angry and disappointed. I understand the 1st is a money day for you but customer service should count for the last move of the day as well. This review is a updated version of the text I sent Mr. Larry the morning of the 2nd. Still no response from him, so I am moving forward with this complaint. We worked hard for our things and we deserve to have them in tact. He said he was finishing a 18 hour day, while we were at the new house) so he knew he had lost his stamina and objective and was in no condition to move my things. I trusted him and if I had known I was the last move of a 18 hour day I would have never put my things in is hands. I cant express how upset I am. The only good thing and worth the star is his assistant Thomas - who was kind enough to drive me across the bridge because I suffer from anxiety from a accident in my youth. (There were other things such as my book cases and a scratch on my white coffee table - I am going to sand them down and paint them so I am not that upset - they still should have not been damaged.) PS. THEY ONLY WRAPPED 1 ITEM OUT OF ALL THE THINGS LISTED ABOVE AND THAT WAS MY UNDAMAGED DRESSER

Originally they were to arrive at 12 pm. I requested they come at 1 pm due to roommate moving out as well and to make Amaya Movers had room to work. Mr Carlos Sosa stated he could come at 6:30 am, 12 pm or 5pm/6 pm. I agreed to 5 pm. The movers were stuck on another job at 5 pm and I was told they would arrive soon. At 6 :30 pm I was told they were 5 minutes away. They arrived at 8:30 pm. Because of this I missed another appointment.They request you pay $190 as soon as they arrive to guarantee they get paid for 2 hours. I requested a stop at my storage which was 2 minutes along the way to my new location. I was told $40, agreed to $25 extra. The movers were very young, but very careful with items. They drove slower than Mr Magoo. I was unable to put stuff in storage and now have to hire someone else to come get the items that do not fit!!!! Was told it was my fault for not sticking to the 12 pm time. WOW!! Would not recommend this company to anyone.
