They don't charge the typical $100 start up fee that most moving companies do, they always provide wardrobe boxes & for any girl that is a huge help. I was so nervous the first time I moved, I have a very large vanity with marble & a full size body mirror, it has a significant mount of sentimental value to me and I was moving to the 3rd floor with no elevator. Cedric and his team took my vanity apart and wrapped it by piece by piece with care. It made it safely to my apartment and right out this time as I moved into my new place. I would recommend this company to anyone. They will work hard and fast, take care of all of your belongings and at the same time not charge you a crazy amount as a result.

The movers were amiable and provided assistance whenever I need it. For example, when the storage place where I wanted to take my contents closed, the company agreed to hold my things over night until the next day. The price was nearly half what others in the area are charging. I would 100% suggest them to anyone who does not believe in paying an arm and a leg for quality service.

I'm very very disappointed with the terrible service. This move was planned almost three months…read moreago. They show up at my house and call and said they did not have a third person due to being short staffed. One guy said they hired him the day before with no training. Basically he was a last minute call. Started a one apartment move at 9:45 am and did not finish until 4pm. The one gentleman stayed on his phone saying he was talking to a manager about another move. My furniture was dropped a few times damaging my sofa and solid wood tv stand. You can tell these guys did not have experience. How did I know this because I worked as a mover for 4 years in college and my uncle who was there worked at a company for 3 years. I have damage to my walls and stair rails. I have 2 sofa's, one chair, king size mattress and rails, two stands, dresser and about 9 medium boxes. It was so bad I rented a small uhaul and brought my own tv's. We had to assist them to bring my sofa upstairs because they dropped it and cause a big hole at the bottom. Scraped my front door at my new place. Left tape and plastic all over at my old place. Mover said if we had 3 movers we would have been done faster in 3-4 hours. The movers were nice guys but you can tell they were not professional. The estimated move turned from $309 to 756. The manager insisted that these guys were professional and we need to pay 680. We had to go help them because they were moving so slow. My last movers were done in 2 half hours with three movers. They did not have a time slot that day for me. I have pictures of all the damage. One manager said we will discount you and just charge you a $100 an hour. Lol That was terrible because two men took almost 7 hours for a one bed apartment. Worst experience ever lady even said I will tell them to stop taking things off the truck if you want pay the $780. Worst experience ever with a moving company. I had a camera system in my home and outside. Two neighbors witness my furniture being dropped. Also the lady was very rude and demanding me to pay 789. Paid $600 and they broke contract when 2 men showed up instead of 3 we agreed upon. They did not tell me this until they were outside. Terrible business!!!!!!! Showed up in a rented uhaul truck. Please don't give me an excuse about covid because camera showed no on had on mask are gloves. . One guy was a last minute hire. The camera shows I didn't have a-lot. They did not fulfill their part of the contract. Inexperienced movers damaged my furniture and walls. They took 6 hours for a one bedroom apartment. They did not have to walk far and dude kept making excuses. Also we had a freight elevator. The one sofa didn't fit in there but we helped them bring it up after the one guy said it was impossible to bring it up. My new neighbor said my sofa is bigger than yours and my movers got it up easy. I repeat do not use them!!! Your movers didn't even wear mask or gloves. They were all in my house around my family without mask. DO NOT USE BOOT LEG MOVERS!

Nothing was broken or damaged. They took apart all the big furniture and put it back together in the right place at new house.

I really had high hopes for this company. The reviews on both Yelp and Thumbtack were great, so I…read moredecided to go with them. The Good: 1 - My initial interaction/communication with Move Masters was great. I received an estimate via Thumbtack shortly after I submitted the request. The quote was confirmed via a phone conversation with Melinda who was extremely professional and thorough. After I booked the move, she sent me an email confirmation with all of the details of the move. 2 - The movers arrived within the estimated window on move day. The Bad: 1 - On move day, everything was off to a great start in the beginning, but the guys (I went with 3 movers) seemed to drag quite a bit towards the end (of the first leg - loading the truck). I later learned that I was their second move of the day. Lesson learned for me...be the first move of the day. 2 - After everything was loaded on to the truck, they asked if they could stop to grab dinner. I thought this was a bit odd, but had no issues with this. It just took a bit longer than I expected. 3 - During the second leg of the move (unloading the truck), furniture was dropped, furniture was damaged, and my living room wall was dinged. Additionally, one of the movers pretty much threw a tantrum because one of the other movers told him to do something that he did not want to do (i.e. stop taking personal calls on the job). At that point, I was just ready for the move to be over, so I pitched in to help move items from the truck to the apartment. I understand that they had to go up and down stairs and that the boxes were heavy, but that's what I hired them for. Towards the end, they seemed to want to just put boxes anywhere instead of where I wanted them to go. I don't think I will hire them again, which is unfortunate because I actually need to move again in a few weeks.

Photos were provided. I was assured the crew could complete the move. The weekend before the scheduled move, I was asked if we could move up our move because they had forgotten something on their calendar. I offered to let them move me over the course of 2 days, but couldn't disrupt the kids end-of-school year for sleeping arrangements. On Wed, they arrived 4.5 hours after they said they would be there. They worked for 4 hours and said they would come back the next day to finish. They also managed to break a table and told me they would take care of me for it, but it has yet to be addressed since then. The next day, they showed up with only 3 people, only 1 of whom was able to consistently work. Because they had overbooked themselves, they didn't even have a real moving truck, but had shown up with budget and u-hauls. For my exercise equipment, I had to borrow tools for neighbors to take apart because they didn't know how to take it down. After 2 hours of trying, they gave up and I hired a fitness specialty company who had it down in 20 minutes and transported to my new home for $400. The only problem with this is that they couldn't come until the next day, which left me out of contract for my new owner which is an entirely new set of issues. I would have used a fitness specialty company from the beginning had they not told me they could take it down no problem. After all, they had the model number, photos, and had seen it in person to confirm! The 3 man crew proceeded to transport my things to my new property and abandon them with all of my belongings in my front yard before leaving for the day. I didn't hear from anyone for 3 days, which in that time I hired a different company to actually move me. The new company sent a 3 man crew who did the job in 3.5 hours. After 3 days, I was told by Fitzgeralds that they would send someone on Monday to finish the job. This would be 4 days after they abandoned my belongings and their trucks on my property. Then they sent me an outrageous invoice that isn't even accurate for time nor considerations for what I had to pay to rectify their mistakes. If I could give this company a ZERO I would.
