I cracked my iPhone 8 Plus so badly that little shards were falling out. I immediately went on Groupon for a deal (hoping to not pay $150) to have the screen replaced. The name We Fix Crack caught my attention and the limited number of reviews were all positive. I decided to go for it. 18 hours after purchasing my Groupon, you'd never know I had cracked my screen. The tech who fixed my phone was incredibly fast and friendly. He even made the trek to find me in the Galleria when I had no idea where I was going and stayed late since I mistakenly assumed they were on mall hours. They aren't. They close at 7. I found out about this place on Groupon. I went and got my phone screen change. When the guy finished, he immediately told me to put a review of my thoughts. My fault for not telling him NO, I put a review. A day later, my phone had glitches and while watching Netflix the screen blank out. I called came back in. I asked the guy why my screen doesn't show clear. He tells me thats the aftermarket screen. I left. The next day, I slide my finger on my screen and it cracked. I immediately called the guy, he tells me he can not do anything for me! (I never dropped my phone and didn't do anything to purposely break my phone.). I hung up frustrated because he kept telling me he couldn't do anything. I then removed his number out my phone. I reached out to Apple and now have an appointment with them. Both times I was turned away with flimsy excuses (first was that their computers were down and the second was that they had a different appointment time from the one they had sent via email confirmation). Took my phone to them for iPhone screen repair on the front and back. I got the phone back and the screen wasn't on correctly AND the phone was restarting every 3 minutes. After speaking to another technician he said the technician most likely damaged the motherboard putting the back glass on. I told them this and after 3 days they got me back in. I drove and hour away to drop it off and they said it would be ready by 3. they then change it to 4:30 so I came back the next day ans guess what? Phone was dead and STILL restarting every 3 minutes. called them and they are saying to drop it BACK off and pick it up in 9hrs at 4:30 right in the middle of Houston traffic. I was looking for someone to fix my phone and after receiving such a low estimate from We Fix Crack I decided to go to them. I did have some trouble finding them, their location is in Office Tower 1 in the 21st floor, not inside the Galleria. I was charged about $55 to fix my Iphone 7 screen. The staff was quite welcoming and it was overall a pleasant and fast service from their part. Let me start by saying the customer service is poor! I went to the Vintage Park location at 10:20am only to be told oh the tech doesn't come in until 2pm. I called the day before so schedule an appointment and was told we open at 10am, try to bring it before 2pm if you want it back the same day. This company wants you to leave you phone with the receptionist whom I must say does not even work for the business. I called the number I was given to see what time they would be in, mind you I got there at 10:20am it's now 10:45am, guy answers the phone well we aren't coming in until around 2pm. I told him Well sir I spoke to you the day before and you told me you open at 10am. He proceeds to tell me he's not and it is what it is. I proceed to tell him that his actions aren't good for business and that he could've told me he wasn't coming in until later. Before I could finish he just hung up on me. Booked an appointment at the Katy location and I dropped off the phone with the receptionist. I informed her that I had an appointment to fix my cracked screen. I came back 2 hours later, and the receptionist stated that the technician has not been at the office. I called the number for the business and the gentleman that answered stated that the technician was in the office the whole time. I explained my situation and he said, "the receptionist must have not given him the phone." He never apologized and said that he cannot do anything about it since he only works the call center. They advertised a "top of the line A+" aftermarket product. The screen they gave me was grainy, hazy, and dull. I asked for my original screen back, a refund, or a better product. They said they could not give me my screen back, would not provide a refund, and wanted $260 more for an OEM screen to replace my original screen but would do it for $225 more (so paying $325 total). An OEM screen from Apple is around $300. In addition to this they would not let me pay by card, so I cannot get a refund from my credit card company. I feel scammed from this company and the product given to me was not at all what was advertised. I do not recommend fixing your phone here. read more

He tried to scam me to pay more when I had already paid Groupon. He ended up fixing it but the screen won't calibrate at all. It's been 7 months and he's been avoiding me and my phone calls to fix this issue. Do not, I repeat DO NOT go to get your phone fixed at the vintage park location. I fixed my cracked screen with them in December, and it came out looking great. The bottom of my screen would lag sometimes after I got it back from them, but I didn't think anything of it. Finally beginning of March, my phone began to glitch and the bottom of my screen completely stopped responding to touch. I have an IPhone 8+, so I thought it was a problem with the software--like it was old or something. So, I took it to the Apple Store. First of all, I didn't want to go back to We Fix Crack because I had a feeling they were the ones who had broke my phone. I was right. The Apple Technician told me there were screws in phone that weren't supposed to be there, and they couldn't get them out. So, reluctantly I went back to We Fix Crack to see if they could fix my phone since they had broken it. NOTE: My sister went through the same thing, only hers stopped working the day after she fixed her screen with them, so they fixed it again for no charge as they were supposed to. The guy Taha was very polite and patient at first, and told me that I could drop it off on Monday and they would have it ready by Tuesday, no charge. I got there Tuesday, it wasn't ready. I got there Wednesday, it wasn't ready. Each day I call Taha and finally he tells me it will be ready at 4 on Thursday. I get ready to go and pick it up, only to find out they want to charge $129+ for a crack that wasn't even there when I dropped my phone off. Come to find out, this crack was in the bottom right corner of the phone, and it wasn't even the size of my pinkie fingernail. When I tell him that the microscopic crack wasn't there when I dropped the phone off 4 DAYS AGO, he gets a whole attitude and starts asking "Oh so I cracked it?" On top of the fact that he was trying to blame the glitch that they had caused on the crack on my phone (that they probably put there too), he tells me that I have been wasting his time as if they have not taken 4 days to fix a phone that should've been fixed in less than 24 hours. Furthermore, THE APPLE TECHNICIAN flat out told me there were screws in my phone they had put there that didn't belong there. Obviously these people do not know what they are doing. So, Taha tells me I can either pick up my phone not fixed, or pay the money they requested and pick up my phone fixed. I wasn't giving those idiots another dime, so I went back and picked up my phone. DO NOT GO HERE THEY HAVE HORRIBLE SERVICE AND IT IS A SCAM. read more

Bruce said that the frame was bent and it would cost an extra $95...told them to leave it alone and I'll pick it up. now a guy named Taja called back and said that he would do it for $65...I said no and he lowered his price to $41...I ended up giving them $30 just to get my daughter's phone back! I inspected the phone and saw that the frame was never bent, same frame because of stickers that my daughter had on it. Sick people!!! i went in with a groupon valued at eighty dollars and an appointment. they were basically trying to scam me into paying extra saying they would only honor twenty dollars that i paid for the groupon and not the value. when i pushed the issue they refused to give me my phone back until other people came into the store and i threatened to call the police. that's when they said they would put the broken screen back on and give it to me. after waiting for them to do that i got my phone back in worse condition as when i took it to the next place the screws and other small parts were missing. i ended up getting it fixed at a kiosk in the galleria mall for $70 which included a screen protector no groupon required and the man was nice and quick. the way these men spoke to me, and tried to be aggressive towards me wouldn't have happened if i was a man, and shouldn't be respected by anyone. terrible customer service and the misogyny was astounding. go to the actual mall and get your phone fixed instead of buying the groupon that they most likely will not honor, and just generally the way that i was treated i wouldn't tell anyone to support them. read more

I purchased a Groupon to get my iPhone 7 screen replaced due to a crack in the screen. I scheduled an appointment with the provider at 4:30pm on 6/14 in which he told me it would take 25-35 minutes to complete. He started working on my phone and then came out at 5:10pm and told me that there was something else wrong with my frame and that it would cost ~$140 to replace it. I said I did not want to spend that money, but he said he could not restore my phone to the condition I brought it in as at this point. He came up with a solution that would cost me $70, and reluctantly, because I felt like I had no other options now with my phone taken apart, I agreed. At about 5:45pm, he comes back out with the phone "fixed" and has me unlock it to make sure the screen is working properly except the home button and finger print reader on my phone are not working. He takes it back to check and comes back out and tells me that the button is broken and not configuring with the new screen, but I can use an assist touch feature on my screen. I tell him that it is not acceptable as that was not broken when I brought my phone in and he reluctantly says he will keep working to get it fixed; at this point I leave because someone was waiting on me for dinner and I gave him a number to call when it was ready. At about 6:15pm he calls me and tells me that they still haven't gotten it to work and its going to take another 1-2 hours to figure out and that I can pick it up in the morning. Again, I tell him that is not acceptable and that I want my phone back that night because I had to leave in the morning... he agrees to "work late" to figure it out. At 8:15pm, he calls and says that I can come get my phone, I get there and the home button and finger print are STILL NOT WORKING. He tells me he will only charge me $50 and that I should do a complete restore on my phone. Frustrated and wanting to get my phone back from him, I paid him. I wiped it and restored it the next morning and it still didn't work. Apparently if you use their service, you run the risk of getting your phone back in a WORSE condition then you brought it in at. I would've lived with the cracked screen had I known I had to give up functionality of my home button and finger print scanner that is linked to everything!!!! read more
