We visited the location on Southard street and were not disappointed. The price was 10$ a day for a bike/lock/light and it was quick and easy to rent and drop off. Easy peasy transportation option in Key West that saves money and doesn't pollute the air! WeCycle dropped off the bikes at our hotel with locks and helmets, and we didn't have to be there to get them. My friend and I biked all over and got a great workout! We liked that we could get Cannondale 7 gear bikes instead of just the standard one speeds- it made riding a lot faster and more fun. The only thing I'll say is that there should be a warning about biking on the major path next to Roosevelt. They delivered my bike directly to (& from) the airport. (My sister who is in her 70's, had too much luggage, so her bike was delivered to the hotel.) It is an intelligent way to get around in just minutes and We Cycle made it is so easy. You can park a bike nearly everywhere within reason vice driving a golf cart or car which require parking fees in many places. We rented through the Kimpton hotel and the bikes arrived within an hour. We made a mistake on our contact phone number so we missed the notification text but a call to the office with a happy and helpful person quickly corrected my mistake and they let us know where they dropped the bikes. We Cycle was very easy to work with! When our travels were delayed by a day (weather issues), they had no issues moving our reservation back a day and refunding the day we couldn't use. We did have a minor issue with a shifter on one of the bikes, but since Key West is almost completely flat, we got the bike into an intermediate gear and rolled with it (we didn't report the problem or expect a same day fix). Bikes were a VERY easy way to get around Key West. We'd rent again from We Cycle for sure! Note: also nice that bikes came with baskets, helmets, locks, and lights! This was our second year renting pedal assist bikes from We Cycle. In 5 days our group rode roughly 100 miles which seems like a lot for being in Key West but we just loved riding along the waterfronts and did it sometimes twice a day plus visited Cow Key many time. The bikes were well serviced and in pretty good shape considering they are rentals. When new batteries were need they took care of them right away plus once while in Cow Key we just stopped and had them switched. My only reason for going with 4 rather than 5 stars was getting the locks open and closed caused quite a bit of frustration. I think possibly a bit of lube who fix this issue. We plan to come back next year and rent again read more

So, I set up the rental and when I went to ride the spd pedals were not the right pedals. Listen, for $40.00 a day on an island where you can rent a bike about every block for MUCH less, it better be all shined up and ready to roll. So, I rode to the closest We Cycle right in Key West. Oh, they don't have the right equipment there to help me. So, I ride to the other location. 3.8 miles. For a cyclist, not a big deal. In the wrong pedals, not so fun. Get there and they change them and give me some bs about not knowing that my shoes were mountain bike spd pedals rather than road. Listen, your business is bike rental! Ask the questions of your customer so that this stuff is avoided. They were not one bit apologetic about it. And they don't t work Sunday's so you pay for a day and can't use it when you come by ferry. read more
