Making an appointment was very easy, did it through the yelp app. David arrived and worked on our 2 bikes and now they are ready to go. Both bikes had been sitting in the garage collecting dust. They needed some TLC. I highly recommend Velofix amazing customer service and COVID safe no contact repair.

Our new bike that velofix helped out with after we went to 3 other bike shops who refused us.

Love this business. We bought a new electric bike during the pandemic and couldn't find a place that could adjust it. We tried 3 shops who either had ridiculously long wait times or did not work on this particular brand of bike (i.e. Blix). We have a friend who is an avid biker and suggested velofix since he successfully used them before. We were able to set up an appointment online for the following Monday. The technician communicated beautifully with us as to his arrival time, adjusted our bike and charged a very reasonable price. If you're not using this mobile bike repair, you should be. They're knowledgeable, efficient and Covid 19 careful. Thanks so much for your good service!

Professional, on time and fast. Took care if me and my specialty Nihola cargo bike. Would recommend them again and I feel safer on my bike after being serviced by them. Thank you!

I'd recommend Velofix to anyone looking for quality bike maintenance and repair. This was my first time using them, I had reached out to them regarding pricing and the owner, Mark, reached out to me directly. He worked with me on pricing, and they came directly to my home. I left my bike outside, and they got the bike and performed the services inside their van. Their large Sprinter van was a mobile workshop with everything a brick and mortar shop would have. Once the repair was completed, they called my phone and let me know it was complete. They first rode the bike up and down the street (test drive) to make sure everything was working smoothly. I was invoiced and paid via Venmo, very minimal contact and was very convenient.

Tuned up bike thx to Mark

Thanks Mark for coming by and tuning up all my bikes! I would highly recommend this business! Added bonus he is an old school NBA fan! Thanks again!

The convenience of a mobile business cannot be beaten. As far as expectations is concerned, it can be let down though. I had been collecting parts for a BMX build for the past few months and just recently started looking for quotes for shops to complete it. Many shops I had spoken to were quoting roughly around $200-250 for a complete assembly including wheel build. Velofix quoted me $295 plus the cost of the spokes and nipples that I still needed. However, Velo was a shop that had been in business longer than the shops I had spoken to. I've bought several mountain bikes from them through the years, so I figured the quality of build would outweigh the cost. I had the dough. Fuck it. I'll make it rain on these hoes. I set a date for a Friday for them to come out. The appointment consisted of a tech picking up my parts and leaving. I had no idea I would not see my bike again for 2 weeks. Granted we're in a pandemic and the bicycle industry is a lot busier than it's been, it would've been great to know this from the start as it would've definitely swayed my decision to go with them. I also told the owner, Mark, that I wanted an inexpensive set of spokes and nipples as they're going for no more than $40 a set and this motherfucker went ahead and got me some that cost $100 more without even confirming, which by the way, I would have said fuck no to. And communication was very poor. Ever had your text left on read without a response for hours on end? I'm talking about texting your girl back and forth and then you ask a question, she sees it and then ghosts you. That happened several times. Fucking frustrating. I gave the business an extra star because the bike turned out pretty nice. And their tech, Demi, seemed like a pretty stand up guy who knew what he was talking about and seemed generally concerned with my satisfaction. If anything, I felt manipulated and more disappointed in the customer service. I will be cutting ties from this business and going to a real BMX shop from now on.

I have a Snapcycle S1 and an Aniioki A8 Pro Max. The first is a pretty lightweight class 3 model that needed both tires looked at after getting horrible flats, and the latter is a 168 lb big boy that I wasn't sure they'd even want to deal with because of the size. I wanted to preemptively get tire liner in my Aniioki for as much ride security as possible, and I noticed not long after riding the bike that the front tire kept making this awful grinding sound, which I assumed was because I hadn't lined the brake pads up properly during assembly. Not only did the excellent staff here do everything I asked for, but they were patient and understanding when I had questions about anything, and finished exactly when they said they would. It's been months since they worked on the Snapcycle and my tires are great, and a few weeks after they finished with my Aniioki and it's still going as strong as ever with no more grinding noises! Like I said before, I've been to all kinds of bike shops, and this one is my absolute favorite. It definitely has a relaxed and welcoming mom and pop feel, which is great if you're looking for your very first bike or even curious about how to upgrade or repair what you already have. And most importantly, I've learned that the people here are honest and dependable. And add the obvious benefit that they'll service both traditional bicycles and ebikes. But of course, call in before you go to make sure. There's no doubt in my mind that they'll take care of your bicycles like they did with mine. You'll be happy you gave them your business.

These are stand up people. I brought home my 20 year old bike that I got out of my parent's garage…read more For the life of me, I could not remove the clip pedals so I could put on standard flat pedals. Took the bike to Temple City Bike Shop and they were able to remove the old pedals and install the new ones, fix my loose front tire and fill both tires with air, all inside of 6 minutes. Final total? No charge. Looking forward to bringing my daughter's bike in for work in the near future (as a paying customer). This place is a true gem!
