It's a charming local spot with a few nice seating options both inside and out. The coffee here is excellent. My wife ordered a blueberry scone that was incredibly fresh and tasty, and I absolutely loved my croissant. We ended up returning several times before leaving Lake Placid! **A few quick notes:** * It's located just out of town, making it a great stop on your way to or from outdoor activities. * The parking lot is unpaved and on the smaller side, so keep that in mind when pulling in. Highly recommended if you're in the area!

The wrap itself actually took up more inner space than the filling did (see photos.) unfortunately it really wasn't worth the amount I paid for it. Overall, staff was nice and friendly, an interior of restaurant was pretty casual, which I give them an extra star for that total three stars.

We came here twice during our Lake Placid visit and both times, everything was great. First time, I had a delicious biscuit with sausage gravy and I devoured that. My husband had banana nutella french toast and I thought he was going to eat the place. We came back a second time and this time I had a special on the menu which was "house biscuits griddled in our waffle iron topped with white pepper gravy, 2 poached eggs, crispy chicken and maple chive hollandaise" with home fries on the side. When it came out, I thought there was no way I could eat that but twenty minutes later, my plate was nearly empty. It was so good. The chicken was amazing, the eggs were great and the biscuit/waffle was spectacular. I think I left about five or six little potatoes. Service was great and even though there was a line for a table, it moved quickly. I highly recommend this place for great food in a nice atmosphere with excellent service.

We got menus and the young people in the table next to us offered to let us have a small table because they could slide over. The menu had a nice selection of wraps sandwiches, burgers and all day breakfast. We had chicken and Steak wraps and a cheeseburger and grilled chicken. The wraps came with fries or onion rings. We ended up with an extra of onion rings for no charge. The steak wrap was large burrito size and had a punch of flavor with mushroom cheese, and garlic. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals and shared the extra onion rings. I was a great meal and experience. Picture is from the museum.

Overall, they made us feel very welcome (although the inquisition about whether we were guests of the hotel when we checked in at the hostess stand seemed a little over the top). In any event, the dining room is lovely with spectacular lake and mountain views out of the large windows. Service was very good and moved at a very good pace. My cocktail (old fashioned was good). We started with blackened shrimp and potstickers. The shrimp were very good and the potstickers were just okay. The dumpling dough was a little doughy and chewy in places but the flavors were nice. My husband had a filet for his entree which he liked and my mother-in-law liked her Chilean sea bass. I had curry shrimp which was pretty good. We definitely liked the chocolate mousse we had for dessert. It's a generous portion and very rich. They took a nice digital photo of us and printed it out and my mother-in-law loved that nice touch. Overall, a nice experience since it's a lovely venue and the service is great. Food is pricey (the beef filet was $89) and although it was fine, I wouldn't rate it exceptional I think some people might take issue with that but overall we really enjoyed our meal here.

Hadn't seen that before and personally I think it clashed. I am used to the Burrata coming with olive oil , salad and tomatoes which compliments the cheese much better. The New York strip was good. Tasty, flavorful. The only thing I would say is I asked for medium and it came out medium well. We saw a rainbow and end of the day it was a nice dinner. Kinda pricey, but you're paying for the view.

My son is 16 and said it was amazing. 10/10. My wife ordered the chicken parm because they didn't have two items on the menu. She liked it, but she was quite disappointed they didn't have the chili bread bowl or purscuitto for the pizza. She gave the food a 10 but the place a 6 because of all the holes in the menu. I had the other chicken dinner, which doesn't seem to be on the online menu. It was chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots. OMG, 12/10, amazing. Melt in your mouth meal all the way around. Wish I could remember the name. My youngest son had the French Onion soup. He didn't like it because he said the bread was really soggy out of gate. He's 10, so keep age in mind. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved sitting at the window and looking at the lake during dinner. We come every summer to Long Lake and will be back again in August to visit this place, it was SO GOOD. We also ordered a cheese pizza that was a delicious NY style. 9/10. 4/5 overall because of the missing menu items. If it were just one, all would have been forgiven; but my wife wanted to leave after she was told 2/2 things she wanted weren't currently available.
