Love my apartment!…read more My husband and I have been living in this complex for four years now. We love it! The staff is always quick to respond to any problems we have and if they can't they replace things right away! Penny is always polite and sweet in the office. This is a quiet and safe location. No hidden fees, just a great living environment.

Let's start with the Pros: 1. It's walking distance to…read moreShoprite. 2. It's walking distance to YMCA 3. It's walking distance to JFK elementary School Other than it's location, there really isn't much to brag about this place. Cons: 1. It's FULL of old people. I mean, it's not a bad thing but it's more like a retirement home than it is an apartment complex. 2. Said old people are very cranky to loud music or any sort of noise. If you have any guests over or even watch a movie with decent volume, the walls are constructed so bad you can hear the people living around you. I had to put up with the sound of a vacuum machine going off at like 11PM every other night. 3. The people working here just don't understand what maintenance means. I pay hundreds a month that goes towards maintenance fees and when my sink breaks, they literally take DAYS to come check it out. Even if you put it in as an emergency, they still take forever. 4. The creaky floors! They drove me nuts for WEEKS! I had carpet installed to dull the noise but that only does so much. So overall, other than being located in a semi okay spot in Wayne, I would not suggest living here.

This place sucks if you're a non-smoker. I spent over $500 in air fresheners the past 4 months…read morejust to wait for my lease to expire so I could get the hell out of here. All so the superintendent could say "I don't smell it." Perhaps because he's a smoker himself? But I digress. People would gag visiting my place. The lady in the apartment below me smokes like a chimney IN HER APARTMENT, day and night, and I would hear her coughing all night. The smoke seeps through the cracks and pipes. My bedroom was the only room that was somehow spared of the smell but the kitchen, bathroom and living room were odoriferous beyond belief. But alas just because the bedroom could escape the smoke doesn't mean everything would be ok with it! In the bedroom, the ceiling would deteriorate in front of my eyes (check out the pics I've included); anytime it rained heavily, parts of it would crumble. As if there was a hole in my ceiling. Perhaps it's better in some units but I could tell you, mine smelled like a perpetual ash tray. Sometimes my poor cat would smell like cigarettes. It's beyond me that you're not allowed to smoke in bars and restaurants, where someone could be visiting, but it's perfectly acceptable to smoke inside a rental apartment where someone lives. In winter time, my heat would routinely break and the solution was to "boil a pot of water" so it warms up. Once? Ok. Twice? Maybe. 6 times in one winter? Totally unacceptable. I STRONGLY advise against renting at this place. Well unless you're a smoker, than go right ahead and enjoy!

Definitely not worth the amount of money you have to pay per month. When we first moved in here in…read more2011 it wasn't that bad. Super was friendly and timely, everything looked nice, there were no problems. Over the years things have declined severely. The neighbourhood is fine, but it's on a noisy road. Trying to get anything done for your apartment requires the pulling of teeth. People smoke anywhere they please and leave their cigarette butts wherever they please. Laundry is $4 (for one washing and drying cycle), there's a laundromat that is much cheaper. Super is obnoxious. Parking is a free for all so if you're not home by 8pm, good luck finding any convenient parking and visitor parking rules aren't enforced so if you have to park in the VISITOR'S LOT because someone decided to have family and friends over, it'll be practically empty. Sure you could rent a garage for an extra $75 to your rent each month, but the garages aren't that big and they're not in a convenient area. In fact, there isn't much that is enforced. The apartment I had boasted about two bedrooms and yet only one of those had any sort of cooling. If you wanted AC in that bedroom, you had to leave the door open and use the living room one. There's no way to put in window units and no one wanted to put in a wall unit... Oh and it took three months for my ceiling to be fixed after a major leak in the second floor apartment happened (due to a shoddy roof), and it took them even LONGER to fix hers. If you think $1795 a month sounds great for you with all of these things (and there's a lot more, but unfortunately due to character limits I can only summarise things), then come right down for your 900 square foot slice of paradise. There are better, more affordable, places that have the same conveniences, like quick access to routes 23 (which will take you to I-80, 46, and 3) and I-287 (which will lead you to I-280), and so many bus routes for NYC transit.

I was very impressed!…read moreI probably sent about 6 requests for quote out to different companies and Lynn at Express Haulers was the first to call me within a minute of sending the request, and the only one persistently following up with me. I told every company that we have a small move as we had been moving things little by little by ourselves, only Lynn provided me with the lowest minimum hours and competitive pricing. When I said I would get back to her, I appreciated her persistence in following up. They estimated 2.5 hours of work and Carlos and his team did a great job efficiently moving things, only took 30 more minutes than they estimated. They also didn't have any hidden charge for wrapping material for couch etc. My husband at the receiving address said they were very careful with our newly renovated home, the floor, the wall etc as they moved and assembled furniture. After the move, the owner Diego himself reached out to check in and asked for feedback. As somebody running a business myself and working with business owners, I really appreciate how they run their business, the efficiency, the flexibility and the care. Will recommend them to anybody in my network who needs moving services.
