After I moved out they claimed I owed hundreds of dollars in move out fees (which is NOT on the lease, but they claim they are "allowed" to add any additional fees to your lease as they see fit). They sent me an addendum to my lease at move out that I never even signed and said that I had to honor the addendum even without my signature on it! They sent me bills for their cleaners, even though it was a standard cleaning/prepping for the next tenant forcing me to pay for the apt turnover. When I called them out on this bc I left the apt in the same condition I received it, they said they had to clean it twice but the bill they used as "evidence" clearly only showed a single standard apt cleaning prep. They threatened to take me to a collection agency without any evidence that I owed them a penny. I was a good tenant, payed my rent on time and in full every month, only to be strong armed and threatened until I dished out money that I didn't owe them. Please Google "Inland Residential Real Estate Services" and read about the company that owns this apt complex. You'll see that they have forced hundreds of tenants across the country to pay fraudulent charges by using threats and collection agencies to destroy a tenant's credit unless they pay unnecessary and false charge amounts.

I will say, they are a bit on the pricey side compared to other companies in the area. We had gotten an estimate for some powerwashing/roof cleaning and their quote came in the highest so we unfortunately didn't use them for that service. However, they do a fantastic job. I explained it was an older…read moredisabled persons home and that it needed some very specific things - floors bathrooms etc. They started out strong it seemed, turning over the couch and cleaning behind it but when I went back to the living room I saw areas of dust that hadn't been touched. I requested they return to finish that section. In the dining room, after they left I noticed that the chandelier hadn't been touched. There was a plumber in that morning that went over time, so I don't fault them at having a delay but they asked for another half hour to finish the kitchen. Many things were cleaned but the floors where they dipped under the cabinets for a few inches looked untouched. The lead said she sprayed degreaser but didn't have time to clean the area - they left 10 minutes earlier than what I paid for. I would prefer they finished the job. The bathroom windows weren't cleaned even though that was a request. I feel like the job should have been quoted instead of an hourly. The team seemed to want to get out of there in lieu of finishing the job properly. When I complained they told me they sent a team of 3 instead of two that was quoted and that had I gotten 2 or would have taken a longer time so I should be happy. The 3 rd person was clearly a trainee or newer as she didn't have initiative and had to keep asking what to do and just standing around waiting for an order. Lastly, I speak some Spanish but there was no English and there was a lot of photo taking and laughter that felt like they were judging the state of my parents home. I had cleaned and organized for a month before hiring them so felt it was in better shape but needed a DEEP cleaning - that to me means getting under the cabinets in the kitchen floor.

There work was careful, extraordinary, fast and beyond reasonably priced. They not only made us a great counter and backsplash they installed it with ease. The difficulty of our space is there isn't a flat or straight wall in our 1929 apartment. These guys cut a piece of stone perfectly for us. From initial conversation to measurements to two installs within one week (first counter then the backsplash) these guys were easy to deal with. Roger is great, his office staff quick to respond and clearly one of the best decisions of this whole process to use him! Good? Call him - NOW!

We hired Artistic Stone to replace our kitchen countertops and fireplace hearth with quartz and chose to extend the quartz up the kitchen walls for a seamless backsplash. To prepare, we removed our existing white subway tile. Although our installation was already delayed due to an "installer emergency," the situation worsened on installation day. Three of the four pieces arrived cut incorrectly, leaving large, noticeable gaps around the fireplace and along the kitchen walls. The installers attempted to persuade us to accept the pieces as they were, which was unacceptable given the cost of the project. After they contacted their team, they attributed the mistakes to their templating software and accepted no responsibility. That same day--for the very first time--we were informed that our cabinet trim would have to be removed for the quartz backsplash to be installed, as they were unwilling to cut around it. This had not been mentioned at any point during six weeks of communication or even during the in‑home templating appointment just a week and a half earlier. Because removing the trim risked damaging our cabinets (which were glued and screwed together), we had no choice but to abandon the quartz backsplash plan entirely and reinstall subway tile--bringing us back to our original setup at roughly twice the cost, which we had to arrange ourselves. When we attempted to speak to the owner about these issues, we were told he was "off the grid." When he eventually called from a blocked number, he did not provide his name. When we requested compensation for the incorrect cuts, delays, and added expenses, we were told they were already "eating the cost" of recutting the pieces--even though the mistakes were theirs alone. After several days of back‑and‑forth, the only concession offered was a minimal discount of a few hundred dollars, despite our paying nearly $13,000. We were initially told the process from templating to installation would take 4-6 business days. Instead, it extended beyond two weeks, and we were forced to move into our new home with no backsplash, no sink, and no functioning cooktop. In our opinion, Artistic Stone was disorganized, unprofessional, and unwilling to take responsibility for their errors. Communication was poor, the mistakes were substantial, and the resolution offered was inadequate. We do not take leaving a negative review lightly, but given the significant investment of time, money, and stress involved, we feel it is necessary to share our experience.
