I've never had an issue with them. They're both very kind and honest; which is a rare quality in NJ. The maintenance crew is also very helpful, I've had one issue so far and it was fixed a few days later. They came in, fixed it, and left. I'm not sure the community is great for kids (ages 5+) but there are quite a few kids here. Which is nice, I like opening the windows in the summer and hearing kids play. There's a real sense of community here - although I will say it stops at Kinnelon Heights. I've seen them yell at kids a few times (which is kind of funny, because of course that little kid isn't going to fully understand and see it as a challenge, then accept that challenge! )

I have 2 small children, one on oxygen and I've been voicing this concern and keep getting told "they dont make that size screen anymore".... which in result you'd think by now (3 years later) they would find a new window/screen company. My preception is they don't want to spend the extra money to get updated appliances. It is now the third summer without screens on my windows, so we cannot enjoy fresh air ever because there is constant bees/moquitoes/ any outside bugs. I understand we are in a woodsy area but then maintence needs to do better making sure we are safe and our children are safe in our apartments! About a year ago they brought me a USED refridgerator because my brand new one that the provided was over freezing, so instead of getting me a new one they gave me an old used one. I had to clean it myself and it has still not been replaced. But aisde from even that.... we've had a new issue arise where the HVAC in one of the closets was leaking so bad it we the entire closet carpet and they had to rip it up. 3 days ago, they came with a large fan and left it here for about 9 hours (Which of course we pay for electricity, so i had to call myself for them to come pick up the fan) they then put a bucket under to catch all the dripping water. NOBODy has came back since. I've had to emtpy this giant bucket of water myself for the last 2 days. Called yesterday, and again today and still nobody came. The maintince looks like its been out of control for over 10+ years, and I really do enjoy living here, so I hope they can be more on top of maintence requests and being considerate of the tenants and children.

There's a combination of homeowners and renters throughout the community. Nice neighbors in a quiet and relaxing environment. Just remember that like all of these communities, there are rules they enforce often...which keeps it nice.

There are so many new and up and coming properties in Bergen County that give you more bang for your buck. They have moved people in with ongoing construction. Many residents complain about their apartment having leaks. None of the appliances work. There is not one "luxury" detail here. Cars have been stolen in the covered parking areas. Residents do not clean up after their dogs. Residents have complained to me that they hear gun shots from the shooting range that is on the property. The building has no number out front so packages are constantly lost. Management send messages on the butterfly app that make you feel like you are residing in a dorm. Constantly telling you they will enter your apartment. Fire alarm goes off daily. Elevator makes this loud screeching sound when ever used. Cops always on property due to residents fighting mind you this property opened Dec 2022. No cameras to see who stole vehicles. Cameras are in front of the building and in common areas (mostly used to stalk residents) No trash cans on property. Peter is rude and mike sends messages with Mike the owner when making threats after you complain. Management question visits if they are on the lease or ask who they are visiting (This is not converge service the building has none). $3200 for a 2 bed 2ba to hear drilling Monday - Saturday from 6a - 6p 6 days a week. Construction workers park any and everywhere. No amenities are available yet. They promised us March 2023. Pool might hold 10 people comfortably when it is finished with construction. Grill area does not exist. "dog walk" is a sh!t show literally no one cleans after their dog. Management wants you to put in work order through them via email instead of maintenance or portal. Save your time and money. Can't wait until my lease is up. They also accept low income housing / Section 8 here. They recently got rid of house keeping so now the maintenance woman has to clean the entire building on top of completing repairs. (They work her like a dog) She does building 300 along with 301 & 400. You will see "Mike the Owner" lurking from the new leasing office in building 300 just watching residents. I will continue to update as time goes on. Hoping other residents write reviews to EXPOSE the BS. I'm almost certain they will have a class action lawsuit for FRAUD!!! Oh and "Mike the Owner" is a lawyer who believes he is above the law perfect fit for a SLUM LORD!!!

I was told by three different people the same thing that it had nothing to do with my credit score and then when they sent the letter all of a sudden it was that my credit score was not high enough. The owner and PauLa were so extremely nice. unfortunately, when I was younger, I did get in trouble. Nothing crazy but I do have something on my backgrounds and I was nothing but honest with them up from the beginning it was years ago. My father literally sent over banking information that had well over millions of dollars in it. I asked to speak to the owner or whoever makes the decisions directly, and I was completely ignored by Annette. she claims I've only been here for a year if after a year you don't know the rules then maybe you shouldn't be there as I worked with her going forward. She was not very friendly. Annette's was completely unacceptable.. I do definitely feel I was discriminated because of my past history, which isn't an effective anything people make mistakes? What are you supposed to do not live somewhere, i'm hoping after this review that who's ever in charge of making these decisions that they will reach out to me. it's a very lovely community and I would've really enjoyed living there,.n
