5/5 Stars -- Worth Every Mile from Irvine!…read more I've been coming to Diamond Bar Optometric Center for over six years, and I now drive all the way from Irvine just to see them, they are worth every mile. Unlike typical Irvine offices where customer service stops at the door and simple frame adjustments get itemized, this team delivers genuine, long-term personal care. You are never treated like just a number. Dr. Hoshi is a phenomenal dry eye expert and clinician. She explains complex eye health in plain English, covering everything from current options to future advancements. Unlike other places where your prescription is set and done, she took the time to explain how an inflamed cornea was causing my daily vision fluctuations and carefully calculated my astigmatism prescription to find the true midpoint rather than relying solely on a single day's measurement. That level of thoroughness, experience, and patient education sets her far apart. Angelina has an incredible eye for frame selection and knows exactly what flatters your face and personal style. Hali is a "gifted frame adjuster"--a true master of her craft! Her work goes far beyond a quick heat and bend; she custom molds frames to the contours of your head for a flawless fit. She is also fantastic at navigating complex insurance questions to maximize your benefits. Leah at the front desk is endlessly patient and accommodating with my scheduling changes and email inquiries. They also use the premier prescription lab and carry an outstanding selection of high-end lenses. I've gone to other places, and nothing compares - they provide the absolute best care and quality for your vision. This team sets the absolute gold standard for eye care and ongoing service. Highly recommended!

Positive review. 4-months Post-surgery OD:20/20 and OS: 20/15…read more I think many of you reading reviews right now are going back and forth about having vision correction surgery. Some of you might be like me and have extremely high myopia and want the vision freedom. From my experience, I researched ICL surgery since 2019. Once EVO ICL was FDA approved, I started looking for a surgeon for advice and see if I was a candidate. Before choosing IQ Laser Vision, I had gone to a different surgeon and he did say I was a EVO ICL candidate, however I was not impressed by him. I was later referred to IQ Laser Vision, where they contacted me and scheduled an appointment to see if I was a candidate. Their multiple offices made it easy for me to go meet with an advisor and doctor. However, with personal reasons, I was unable to get the surgery done during that year after that initial consult and going through their state of the art arcscan (apparently they're the only office that are using this technology to make sure to see if your eye has enough space/vault...very cool). Fast forward March 2026, I contacted IQ laser vision again in hopes that maybe I can ask them for another consult. Again, the advisor walked me through, doctors did their check up, arcscan again (still cool) and I was able to schedule my surgery. It was an honor to have Dr. Robert Lin be available to do my EVO ICL surgery. He was incredibly patient with my questions, listened to my story of researching this procedure, and I knew I was in good hands from someone who had worked on so many eyes. Perhaps my favorite part aside from the whole journey of vision correction and having 20/20 vision is that you can feel how much Dr. Lin cared for his patients. He called me personally to make sure my first day post surgery was ok. And even after 4 months later, he contacted me to make sure I was ok and how I am liking my vision. For those who are like me going back and forth about vision correction, I highly recommend making an appointment/consult to see if you can be a candidate. From there you can move forward and make that decision. I know it was later than I anticipated for myself, but I can truly say I am happy having that peace of mind that I can wake up and see, not have to worried about my glasses/contacts during a possible evacuation (fire or earthquake), and do water sport without fear of infections if I wore my contacts. That mental peace is probably the second to best part of this journey.

The doctor, optometrist, and assistants were all wonderful. During my consultation, the optometrist even discovered a discrepancy in my previous prescription from another optometrist. This reassured me even more that I was in good hands, and I felt completely confident moving forward with booking my LASIK procedure. The procedure itself went extremely well. Once again, I received the best care, and everything from the pre-op and post-op preparation to the follow-up appointments was handled so professionally. I truly cannot recommend Coastal Vision enough! I'm extremely happy with my results and with the care I received throughout the entire process. SCAM!!! Very…read moreDisappointing Experience -- Check Frame Prices Online Before Purchasing I had my eye exam and purchased my glasses here a few weeks ago, thinking I had finally found my go-to optometry. Unfortunately, this experience has been extremely disappointing. After my purchase, I checked the Chanel website and discovered that the exact frame I bought was listed for $380, while this optometry charged me $525 for the frame alone. When I contacted them to ask about the price difference, they explained that it was due to additional charges and fees. They also claimed that the price was higher because they were able to accommodate my insurance, and that I only paid $220 out of pocket, which they presented as a better deal than the retail price. This explanation makes no sense to me. My insurance provides partial coverage; that does not justify inflating the frame's price. If the frame had been charged at the price listed on Chanel's official website, my out-of-pocket cost would have been significantly lower -- around $70, based on my understanding of my insurance benefits. What made the experience even more frustrating was that I called to discuss this issue and was promised a callback, but no one ever followed up. I understand that businesses have operating costs, but customers deserve transparent pricing and honest explanations, especially when insurance benefits are involved. I would strongly recommend checking the frame's retail price online before making a purchase here. I genuinely thought I had found an optometry I could return to, but this experience has seriously damaged my trust and left me very disappointed
