Main manager was rude about picking up my medicine. I wasn't aware of their "too early" window because ... I've never been told. He made me feel like I was abusing my medication when I travel for work so that is why sometimes I picked it up early. did not appreciate the attitude he gave me when someone who worked there told me Saturday was an okay day to pick it up. read more

Been using Wayne's for 55 years since college. Bob and Jamie are among the best. They go.out of their way to help solve problems such as GERD over the count medications. Friendly during winter rushes. I dunno why ppl day in other reviews not friendly. Not my experience. read more

We received outstanding, next day service for our medical supply needs with the help of Tim Boyzuck. There was a minimal wait at pick up, then a bit of paperwork, and a thoughtful demonstration of the medical device. Among the worst customer service I've ever received. They constantly make mistakes and place blame on the customers. Spoke with a pharmacist named Beth earlier today who sarcastically suggested I get a job with them if I "cared so much about people getting their prescriptions called in". I've been receiving my prescriptions from there since basically birth and never had this kind of problem until recently. Since last December (of 2021), I've been regularly on prescriptions and buying them from here. Over the last 10 or so months, I've only not had a problem with them a handful of times. Every time there's a problem, it's either the customer or the doctor who is at fault according to them. The pharmacist went on to tell me what I was doing was "silly". Nice to know a local business apparently would rather insult a customer instead of assisting them. read more

I've been with Waynes Pharmacy for about two years and the service and competence has only declined. There has been multiple occasions where my refills were placed for pickup when specifically requested delivery and on two occasions they have left my prescriptions with an entirely different address. I gave them the benefit of the doubt for longer than I should have and as of this morning when I called to check why my refills hadn't been delivered yesterday as they informed me, the girl answering the phones hung up on me when I said I wanted to check on yesterdays delivery. After calling back she hung up on me the moment I spoke. This pharmacy is the worst in Oswego, go to Walmart instead. read more

The entire staff at Wayne Drugs in Oswego NY are inept and worthless. I'm talking about the pharmacist Jamie and the female pharmacist who has absolutely no clue what she is doing or talking about. This pathetic woman wouldn't even give me her name other than pharmacist and then she tried to say Wayne Drugs hasn't filled a script like mine in over 10 years. When I said I've already picked one up there in the last month as of 12-13-2021 she hung up on me. Over 1 week they've had my script and still don't even have it filled either properly. These people at Wayne Drugs are as uneducated as they can be. I have received over $1,000,000 in medical care and prescriptions this year due to cancer. I have been in 3 different states but no one and I mean no one is as rude mean and flat out incompetent as the entire staff at Wayne Drugs! This has occurred on numerous occasions as well so its not a one off. Save your time and money and order from a different Health Mart location or simply a different pharmacy. I found a Health Mart - Refresh Pharmacy in Cicero NY that will deliver for free and their customer service is night and day compared to these disgustingly evil people at Wayne Drugs. Shame on each and every person that works at Wayne Drugs, not one of them is competent and no one at Wayne Drugs should be allowed or trusted to handle the care for anyone that needs pharmaceutical help. read more

I was very disappointed in the customer service at Wayne's drugs, and especially Jamie Branshaw. Over 6 months ago a walker was delivered to a local nursing facility which was too small for my father who is 6 ft tall to use. He was in the hospital at the time. We immediately brought the walker back to Wayne's pharmacy, unused. Since that time we have been fighting with them to get our money back but have been totally ignored. Would never use this pharmacy again for medical devices. read more

My mother has been recently diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma and was receiving treatment in the hospital. She was suffering with severe, uncontrollable pain. The diagnosis was devastating, but seeing the amount of pain she was in was heartbreaking. The pain medication they were giving her wasn't even touching her pain. I had gone into Wayne's to get my prescription. It was just 2 minutes before closing time, and after getting my prescription, I asked to speak with the pharmacist. I've always trusted this pharmacy, and over the years, they've advised me on everything from allergy medications to burn ointments, etc. I met with Pharmacist, Beth Nevin. By this time, the store was closed. I stood there crying as I told Beth what was happening with my mother, and asked her what could the doctors possibly give my mother to help her pain. Beth was so sweet and empathetic. She suggested specific routine pain drugs along with specific breakthrough pain drugs that would be most helpful to my Mom. She explained how the drugs worked and wrote them down for me in a way that would make it easy for me to request my mother's doctors to order them. When I went to see my mother in the hospital again, she was in unbearable pain in her spine, ribs, and hips. While my father tried to comfort her, I went to the charge nurse and told her that the pain medication was not working and that my mother's pain was getting worse and worse everyday. I asked for each of the drugs on the list that Beth wrote out for me. Within less than an hour, the meds were ordered and administered to my mother. Another hour later, my mother actually got up and was able to walk with the help of her walker and an assistant. She walked halfway down the hall and back and tolerated it very well. It's the furthest she's been able to walk in several weeks. Three days later, my mother is being discharged on these pain medications to continue her chemotherapy as an outpatient. Beth's patience and knowledge saved my mom. That very morning she said that the pain was too much and it wasn't worth fighting this cancer and she'd rather die. Within hours, she was herself again and had her head back in the game to go on and continue to fight her cancer. I will forever be grateful for Beth's advice. It truly made the difference in my mother continuing her fight to live or giving up and dying. Thank you, Beth. God Bless You. read more

I have had 1 bad experience here, but way more great experiences. Very helpful staff for the most part, and they actually seem to care about doing a good job. Much better than the Walmart pharmacy. read more
