These awnings seem to be great especially with the remotes for opening and closing them! These awnings should also help nicely for cutting down the amount of sun and heat coming in the house from the direct sunlight! Unfortunately we've only had a short amount of time since installation to sit under them with all the crazy wind we've had but we can tell we will have some lovely shade from them during the summer plus the awnings should cut down the amount of heat on our Trex decking too where in the past we only had an umbrella! Can't wait for summer and the Sunshine to start because we love sitting on our deck! I should mention of the great installation team of Daniel and Tyler, they worked hard especially when the rain started and they explained nicely how the remote and the awnings worked! Plus a day later Eric the electrician came over to install an electrical outlet for our two awnings And did a great job as well! They were all great, and I sure appreciated how nice everyone was and how smoothly the job went! Again MaryGrove and Miaya, thanks again for a great and a well done job! It took a little longer to installed than I had hoped but there were some installation challenges and how the awning was to be constructed. I have to take a few deep breaths before writing this review…read more We had Alexandria Windows come out to replace a few windows two summers ago. The communication and scheduling was lacking, so we were a little frustrated, but it didn't prepare us for the ordeal we were going to be dealing with. We live in an old house, 1920's. My husband expressed this many times, that appropriate measures would have to be taken as we had lead in our old windows and trim. I heard him over the phone as well as in person and he was assured they would take the steps necessary. The day the windows were to be replaced, my kids and I left the house. Two windows were in our daughters room, the other in our guest bedroom. One window was oriented the wrong way and still installed. The worst part was, after removing the old windows, the workers took leaf blowers out to blow debris out into the yard below and all over the rooms. My husband ran upstairs and yelled at them to stop, that once again, there was lead paint involved. They stopped and cleaned up, but not well enough. My husband wiped everything down afterwards, not trusting it was cleaned properly. A few months later, my daughter received test results showing elevated levels of lead in her blood. It was quick and not a single other person in our family had any detectable levels. I was livid. I'm still livid. I don't care that one of our windows is wrong or that it took forever to arrange communication. I'm livid that lead safe practices weren't followed as promised and my child had to pay for it. You can't put a price on that. Thankfully, she's grown, and the situation is under control now, but if you have an old house, I would absolutely not recommend this company. To the owner, if your business gives homeowners your word that things will be done safely and following safe standards, you need to follow through. Safety should be top priority. This could have had a very poor outcome.

They said they wouldy fix it and they were not able to fix it. it happened again and now they it is out of warranty. The pitch of the awning is wrong, they never came back to finish the gutters or touch-up the awning where they scratched it, cut, etc. My biggest complaint is this company has the worst customer service imaginable. They will ignore your phone calls until you threaten to dispute the charges and then lie when they tell you something will be done on this date or whenever. I even went to the shop after they wouldn't answer the phone for a week and they locked up the storefront so no one could get in lol. Anyway, stay clear of this company.
