The team at Skyview Detroit (formerly known as Livingspace Detroit) is incredible. They just…read morefinished a project building a sunroom for us. After meeting with Taylor from Skyview and representatives from two rival companies, the decision as to who to sign with was easy to make because the rival companies didn't come close to offering the value, the customization and flexibility, or the quality of projected final product as Skyview. And that's just talking about the product and the return on investment for the cost (I have quotes from other companies for sunrooms half the size for roughly the same price, and they didn't have the same quality of building materials). When you factor in the high level of professionalism, exceptional customer service, and frequent, respectful communication, the value of working with Skyview gets better and better. Considering the amount of time that goes into a project like building a sunroom, working with a team that is respectful, reliable, friendly, and helpful is really important. The quality of the people themselves can make or break your experience. From the time we sat down to discuss options and make plans for our custom sunroom, all the way through the final completion and walk-through of the space, every individual member of the team was exceptional (from the crew building the room to the electricians brought in to the folks organizing logistics and communication from the office to the person actually designing our space). Whenever my partner or I had stupid questions, any member of the crew on site would take the time out to talk it through with us with impressive patience. Or Taylor or Valerie would respond to our email queries within a couple hours, often sooner than later. If there was a concern or question about the build itself, Matt would quickly involve himself to make sure things were addressed to our satisfaction. Even though this was one of many jobs for this team, they never once made us feel like *just another job*. This is especially a shout-out to the building crew since they were here all day long, day after day, in the bitter cold and over the holidays (not on the holidays, though, which we were happy they could enjoy). That they were always so great to work with or talk to in spite of the demands of the job goes to show how genuinely kind and professional they all are. The sunroom they built for us is off the back of our house. The first step was tearing out the old concrete patio and pouring a new slab. Then they began putting up the structure, putting in electrical, etc. They built a gabled roof into the existing roof of the house, which meant removing gutters, tearing into walls, shingling, putting up new gutters. They put down beautiful flooring, installed a ceiling fan (that we supplied, as per the agreement), put up a new interior wall (bead board) with an opening for a dog door (as requested), ran new electrical, installed a baseboard heater to make the room usable all year. The trim-work done at the end is beautiful. When all was said and done, they cleaned up the room and the yard quickly and efficiently. What I'm trying to say is, a lot of time, energy, expertise, and coordination went into putting this together for us. The sunroom has been completely finished for about a week and we have already spent more waking hours in it than the rest of the house. We love it. Our pets love it. We had friends in from out of town and they were blown away by it. I might build another sunroom off this sunroom just to have another project with this team. If you're thinking about a sunroom or other related project, I highly encourage you to contact Skyview and set up a consultation. There were no strings attached until we signed the contract. There's no risk because you can walk away if you aren't satisfied with the plan. But they customize their projects according to your wants and needs, so I think you'll be impressed.

These awnings seem to be great especially with the remotes for opening and closing them! These awnings should also help nicely for cutting down the amount of sun and heat coming in the house from the direct sunlight! Unfortunately we've only had a short amount of time since installation to sit under them with all the crazy wind we've had but we can tell we will have some lovely shade from them during the summer plus the awnings should cut down the amount of heat on our Trex decking too where in the past we only had an umbrella! Can't wait for summer and the Sunshine to start because we love sitting on our deck! I should mention of the great installation team of Daniel and Tyler, they worked hard especially when the rain started and they explained nicely how the remote and the awnings worked! Plus a day later Eric the electrician came over to install an electrical outlet for our two awnings And did a great job as well! They were all great, and I sure appreciated how nice everyone was and how smoothly the job went! Again MaryGrove and Miaya, thanks again for a great and a well done job! Looking forward to the many years of enjoyment we will have from these beautiful looking awnings, both of them! Cheers, Mark and Sherrie Z

We contacted the owner several times the year after it was poured because several cracks formed along the cut lines that were made "to prevent cracks" and corners broke off, but he never responded. Nothing we talked about was laid out in print (my error) and the foreman had no info (e.g. channel drain, new slope, layout/expansion, patio add on). If I was not working from home 3 days in a row to direct constantly I'm not sure what I would have got other than a direct remove and replace of current drive. We got through that, and didn't hold it against them in the big picture. However, I then ended up with cracks in few places a month later that should have had saw cuts. Cory came out and looked and said he'd come back to cut. Texted him and called to no avail. Sealer also peeled in many places Generally also a mess as far as job site (tools left to trip over, lunch trash, over excavated form space). They did not leave any soil or backfill forms and it took me better part of summer to get that repaired. I had a man hole in my driveway and that was covered in cement. I used a sledge hammer to break it off. There was also variations in texture and color. Winter 2021/2022 - Now my driveway started pitting and spalling the top layer of cement in different places. New front porch has separated. Winter has caused cracking across multiple slabs. Seems like the 'fiber in the mix' and sealer has not helped. Poor quality job. Neighbor across the street had her's done in Sept. 2021 and has 5 or 6 major cracks she claims.
