If I could rate this I would rate it negative 5. The guy who owns this place is a cheap son of a gun who over charges and skimps out on the food. I've been coming here for years when I started working across the street. I've noticed things. 1. I over heard the manager/owner (an Indian guy) Tell an employee to put the bags that they use to put the pickles and cheese curds in something (I couldn't see) to reuse rather than throw them away. EWWW THATS GROSS. 2. Milkshakes are scams here. They only have one size which is like 8oz and they're expensive as hell and they are very liquidy. 3. They don't know how to fry I've gotten tenders raw in the middle at least 7 times ( I've got kids) so anytime I get them now I have to cut them to check. 4. Last time I was there there was group of people in front of me ordering as I'm just watching the guy make burgers I see him grab the patties but they were all brown GROSS so as he grabs more patties the one whole bin was brown and the other bin was brown up front pink in the back. Now I'm not sure but ground beef is supposed to be pink. Not brown. So just watch out. 5. Also I'm tired of getting shorted on bacon not enough bacon on fries or on burgers COOK FULL PIECES OR PUT MORE THAN THREE HALF PIECES. I've been on a burger kick lately and have been excited to try this place. My brother recommended the "Cheesy" to me, which is like a grilled cheese double cheeseburger. My husband ordered the rodeo, which is a bacon bbq cheeseburger. We also shared an order of the bacon cheese fries. You order at a counter & they bring the food out to you. The man who dropped off our order wasn't very friendly (he didn't say a word to us when he dropped the food off), so that was awkward. We both enjoyed our burger, but thought the fries were pretty standard. They didn't put a ton of bacon on them unfortunately. Their milkshakes looked tempting, but we didn't have any room left. The thing I love most about this place is the old fashioned way of serving the food. ( newspaper like wrapping and fries in a hot dog cardboard bowl thing? Lol. I have been here a few times and I'm not impressed. The store it's self is clean with a good amount of seating. The food on the other hand is not so impressive. The quality of food has been inconsistent. We stopped going for food but decided to go for shakes. Today we went for shakes only and they weren't good. They were watered down (with milk) and one tasted like onions (maybe from the employees hands on the outside of the cup). Both ended up in the trash when we got home ($10 down the drain). New burger place in the area serving up made to order burgers pretty quickly. Upon walking in, you go up to the counter to place your order and then have a seat and they will bring your meal out to you (typically only takes 5-10 minutes). They do also serve chicken and hot dogs in addition to burgers. My one son likes their chicken fingers while my other likes their hamburgers. You can pick your toppings and some toppings do cost extra, like bacon for instance. Don't expect a lot of meat on your burger. I ordered the single and while the taste was OK, it wasn't very filling. You do get a lot of fries on the side though. I like the fresh cut fries and they do have some pretty good milkshakes. My wife ordered the cheese fries and basically they took some shredded cheese and melted a little on the top. Once you got through the top layer, it was just fries. The food use to be great and always made properly. Lately the service and the food is suffering from lack of proper management. I predict this place will close within a year at its current rate of decline. The staff is either high school or college students with no supervision. It's clearly evident in the lack of respect for customers and customer concerns. During our last meal not one customer didn't have to go back up and complain about their order. The crew also had almost all the chairs on tables at 8:15 PM when they close at 9. The staff also turned off the lights with customers still inside at 8:58 PM.
