The food is just too greasy! Got a hamburger and the wrapping just saturated in grease also. The food is good if it weren't for that.

It is hard to believe I never been to a Five Guys until today, but it won't be my last. I never…read morethought I find a better fast food burger and fires better than In-N-Out, but Five Guys is better. I am still trying to figure out if it is a good value, because this is not a cheap meal at all. Two bacon cheese burgers, two regular fries and two milkshakes, was almost $70.00. So yea, Five guys is great but is it $70.00 great? The wife and I ordered the same meal. Bacon Cheese Burger (all the way), regular fries, and milkshake. The burgers are double and huge and getting them all the way is the way to go. The fries are fresh greasy and yummy and OMG, they give you so much. The wife enjoyed her coffee milkshake, and I had to try (are you ready for this), their bacon milkshake because who doesn't love bacon. The Bacon milkshake isn't vanilla ice cream with some fake bacon flavor in it. No sir, it is vanilla ice cream with real bacon, miked in. Yea, this is something new, different and good. So after writing this review I have come to the conclusion that $70.00 Burger and fry meal for two is worth it at Five Guys. After all you get what you pay for.

When I told him my husband and I were splitting the burger, he said would you like that burger cut in half. Most places you have to ask for that to be done. He has excellent customer service skills! We live in CA and can get In and Out, Shake Shack, The Habit and the list goes on.....but the burger we got today was BEYOND GOOD!! We ordered a double cheeseburger and fries. The patties were made freshly. It was served juicy and hot. The lettuce, tomatoes and onions were so fresh also!! The fries were crispy and hot. Do you know how many times I've gotten fast food and the fries are luke warm...a lot! Lol I've never written a review for a fast food place before, but the food, service and cleanliness of this place deserves an outstanding review!! It is a great team of workers here. I was so impressed with everything!!

Because the restaurant is downtown there is plenty of free street parking spaces right outside the door. There is a bar, with bar seating, The other seating consisted of normal table with hard back chairs, and couches that ran down the side of the wall with tables, and hard back chairs on the other side. Overall, the service was adequate, not good, and certainly not great, but good enough not to stop us from enjoying our night out. I started with what was supposed to be a cup of Tomato Bisque but received and paid for a bowl. Somewhat my fault for not realizing that my serving and what I paid for was large and more expensive than the cup I ordered. With that said, I thought the flavor of the bisque served with, Garlic Buttered Crostini, and grated Smoked Gouda was outstanding. The temperature could have been a bit warmer, but again the flavor was sport on. The wife and I split a very large bowl of PEI Mussels. The Mussels were served in a white wine broth with Shallots, Garlic, Roasted Tomatoes, and Bacon. Honestly, I could and did finish the broth off as a soup. There were quite a few Mussels that did not open, but the bowl was so large, we wouldn't have eaten them anyway. The wife's main dish was the Pan Seared Sea Scallops, with peach and bacon risotto, and fresh Spinach. The dish was finished with an amazing Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction. The scallops were large, the Risotto was great, but the brown butter reduction was the absolute star of the dish. For my main dish I had the Curried Lamb Lollipops, served over Cilantro Basmati Rice, and roasted Tomatoes with an excellent curry sauce. The chops were of good size and cooked to perfection. And please don't even get me started on the fired Garlic Butter Paratha which is some of the best bread I have ever had. My mistake was ordering a side of the Peach and Bacon Risotto similar to what was served with the scallop dish. Without the Bourbon Peach Brown Butter Reduction however, the risotto ate a little dry and had little to no peach flavor. I finished my meal with a bourbon , Mascarpone, bread pudding, which was amazing. The dish was loaded with bourbon which both my wife and I agreed was not completely cooked off. Great dish to finish an outstanding meal. Even with a few minor missteps, the overall flavor of the dishes were so good, I still must give it an overall 5.

Everyone was nice. *Patio is cool with the large tree growing in the middle of it. * All 3 of us got a variation of the jerked chicken. * Jerked chicken tostadas were just flavorful and delicious. *Calypso nachos with the jerked chicken, the pineapple paired well and just good nachos. *Pac-rim salad with jerked chicken, big serving and a nice crunch with the cabbage Cole slaw paired with a peanut vinaigrette and the jerked chicken. Delicious. * Our serve was attentive but not over burdening. Checked in, was super pleasant, just darn right nice. *Chocolate bread pudding was recommend and it was moist and warm with a good scoop of vanilla ice cream. The caramel drizzle was the highlight for me. What could of been better: *A me thing for nachos, when piled high the bottom gets soggy before you can enjoy them. Great visit, want to come back and try some other items.

The meatloaf was flavorful and moist, the green beans were seasoned just right, and the broccoli casserole was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous and offered great value for the price. My brother ordered the fish and chips with steamed broccoli. His plate was piled high with food, and he said everything tasted fresh and was cooked perfectly. The restaurant itself was very clean, tables were bussed promptly, and even the restrooms were spotless. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere made for a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!
