We were returning from a long road trip and looking for a place to stop off the highway to get a bite to eat. We were tired of all the fast-food restaurants, so when we saw the sign for Larry's Giant Subs, we headed in that direction. We were so glad that we stopped. We intended to grab a sandwich to go, but once we got inside, we decided to sit down and eat in their large dining room. We ordered Italian subs and chips. The sub was very tasty! The bread was amazingly light and flavorful. For me, it made the sandwich. The genoa salami, pepperoni and provolone were fresh and had great flavor. Larry has their own Italian dressing that I enjoyed much better than any other Italian dressings I've previously had. We will stop again on the next road trip. read more

I'm in town for work, and will probably eat this only once in my life, and I had to give it a try. I stopped in on Sunday May 11,2025. I love spicy Capicola, and my hopes were very high with this one here. It disappointed, and the sub sandwich tasted averaged. I paid $9.99 for an 8". There was more veggies than meat and the Capicola didn't have any cured "fermented" taste that I enjoy. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted everyone independently and had a genuine smile on her face. Everyone else were glued to their duties at task. The restaurant is very clean. I don't know the back story to the gorillas so I can't make an opinion on that. I can say I tried it once, but it wouldn't be a place I'd want to come back to. read more

Love this place!!! The subs are amazing! There is a huge gorilla inside that you can take photos with. Don't let the outside fool you. It's a nice place inside. The bathrooms are 5 star clean too. read more

My gluten free daughter said they had the best gluten free bread she's had! All of our subs were delicious and the service was so friendly.

This was the slowest service ever! I waited over fifteen minutes after I ordered. I would not come back.

Waited to have my order taken for 5 minutes. Was not busy at all. They were busy running their mouths. The service here has dropped. Don't think I'll come back here. Trays were pulled up on the trash can and dirty tables. Sandwich was alright. read more

So so good!! I got "The Killer" cold and it was perfect. The bread was amazing and the meat fresh. The Italian dressing was perfect!! What a gem we found after stopping at KFC (10 year olds request) and the food was nasty! I wasn't even bothered I wasted $20 at the other place! We happened to fall into this place on our way home last year coming from the Keys, and we are headed back to the Keys with my family. I couldn't remember the name at first but as soon as we saw the name we knew and made the right off 95 and right on the left there they were! We got three subs and a grilled cheese. This was a random stop for us odd the Highway to walk our two greyhounds on our snowbird drive south in October. Not only did this place amuse the heck out of us, the service was fast & friendly. This location is a must food-stop while traveling I-95. Let's start with CLEAN and tidy. No crumbs on the floor and counters cleared of the unnecessary. The staff was very friendly. Then there is the sandwiches. The bread is the perfect texture of soft inside and crusty outside. I would say the amount of meat is comparable to most sub shops. They have all the usual sub toppings including muffeletta. They have both cold and hot subs including cheesesteak, cuban, parmesan. Pricing for 8" sub is around $8+. Also, the kids will love the HUGE King Kong bursting through the wall. read more

Cold meat!! I wanted a sandwich and checked out the reviews for Larry's gaint sub. The beard was soft and the house Italian was good but the meat and veggies were warm. I don't know about you but I like cold veggies and cold meat on my subs. Maybe I'm a little high maintenance but I don't think it's too much to ask. Larry's was big so you don't have to worry about seating but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. If you go, don't forget to request a pickle spear. I asked for one and the cashier put it on my receipt but the sandwich artist still forget... bummer. read more
