Very nice restaurant. Pleasant to sit & chat. I ordered the roast beef sandwich expecting fresh sliced roast beef but it tasted rubbery like the roast beef in the packages at the grocery stores. I was surprised by that. It was a slice of lettuce with a slice of American cheese, a small portion of roast beef and some horseradish sauce. I found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! This place is across from FLETC and next to Sally Cop Shop. The cafe is so so charming, quaint, and cute. It was very homey and cozy and I love their decor. The food was excellent and so was their cookies! We got two salads, I LOVED my grilled salmon on the roasted beets and arugula salad! My friend got the power mix bowl (which has a fire-roasted flavor of the veggies together). We got their cookies on displayed, it was a pecan brown sugar chocolate chips cookies (guessing from the ingredients) and it was just so delicious! Soft, chewy and full of goodness! Upon arrival, we were seated immediately. The establishment was pretty busy for lunch. Once seated our drink orders were in and the appetizers, which we selected to go with the soup of the day, were placed. Before we knew it, the soups were out and our main entrées were placed. Which, shortly after came out, hot and fresh. From our sweet tea and lemonade, to our main entrees, not one compliant. Our lunch experience was spectacular. The staff was accommodating in every way possible. They set a standard of their own, even for small cozy establishment. It delivers solid, VERY tasty café fare (I'm a fan of their curry chicken salad), reasonably priced, in a sit-down location that is satisfactorily charming. I contracted with A Moveable Feast to provide 50 cupcakes for our 50th anniversary celebration. Their dessert was the perfect offering after the dinner. The chocolate cupcakes were beautiful and delicious, the pistachio cupcakes were fought over. They even added a small candied gold ball on the top of each cupcake to honor our 50th. What a gem to have near St Simons Island GA!!!!! They were ready right on time for our son to pick them. I would recommend A Moveable Feast for any catering need. read more

This is one of the few restaurants I've been to that takes all the pandemic precautions - hand sanitizer, limiting capacity, staff is wearing masks, temperature checks at the door, and social distancing enforced. All the safety for staff and patrons! Aside from being impressed about that, the service was fantastic, and the food was amazing! I came with my small baby and I couldn't quite figure out what to order for him so I requested a piece of pumpernickel toast ($2). I will admit that there was some initial sticker shock when I got the check, but the bread was very pillowy and fresh. Im assuming it was the owner but she came out to make a round through table to check on food, at that time she offered to bring my baby a side of oranges. He's never had them and ended up loving them, so that was very much appreciated. I ordered the power mix bowl with Salmon ($14.50), and it was bomb! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and seemed of fresh/good quality. The bowl was a perfect portion for me too. I also ordered a gluten free lemon blueberry muffin (~$3) for dessert that was served warm, it was the perfect little treat that my son also enjoyed. This was my first time stopping in Brunswick, but I make the drive to South Carolina once a month. This establishment is no where near the highway but I'm glad I sought it out, and I will definitely visit again! read more

Plenty of food for lunch. They have different specials everyday and change every week. On this day, they had the tuna, triple play (Quiche, soup and salad) and various other specials. I ordered the power mix salad (kale, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, artichoke hearts, quinoa, feta. Normally served with chicken and turkey bacon which I left off as I am vegetarian). Our server was funny when she struggled pronouncing and spelling quinoa so I appreciated that an ingredient that I like was on the menu. I expected a cold salad but was pleasantly surprised when it was served warm - very good. Husband had the sandwich/ salad combo with egg salad (with salmon) and the roast beef panini which he liked very much. Frequently makes holiday fixed menu take-out, a big help to one or two people whose holiday crowd is too small for traditional cooking. The menu is varied from simple lunch sandwich offerings - always with an added twist to your favorites - to hearty dinner plates that will never disappoint. The soup specials are a perfect pairing with your entree. One of my favorite meals is the power green salad with salmon on top. So much flavor and variety is thrown into this dish that you forget that you are eating healthy! It's one of those places where the waiter will walk by with entrees for another group and you just want to sample those also. The staff is always attentive and helpful with selections.
