Found this adorable restaurant/food shop on my travels. My husband & I do enjoy Vietnamese Pho after having it in Vietnam. We are always in search of this soup and as authentic as possible. It's flavors are based on many things starting with a good bone broth which comes from marrow rich bones being cooked for a day or two. I make it at home but it's like sauerbraten (sorry to change countries) it takes time to get that flavor right. We found this restaurant to be authentic and delicious. Also, it's fun to shop in the adjoining store for authentic Vietnamese ingredients!!! Also they have a bubble tea bar!!!! Go get some! I'm thinking family owned, and they are darling people.

This restaurant is in an Asian store. Like 7 table seating. It was raining today so pho soup I must have. It's like a family runs it. 2 old lady and the man who does the cashier part of the store. They were quick in bringing the food. The soup was really good. I had a medium size and pork spring rolls. I feel like It need more broth though. It definitely filled me up! It's the first one I tried in Brunswick. My top place of Pho soup is Cali, Seattle, NY and believe it or not Duluth MN.

I was not excepting this place to have the best Pho! It is amazing. I brought my friend here for my 3rd visit, he's from Korea and has traveled all around the world. He LOVES it! He said it's the best Pho he's had.

Pho #1 is owned by a friendly Chinese couple and the restaurant is connected to their little Asian market. I did not think I was going to be able to find an Asian market anywhere in Brunswick so I splurged and bought all of my favorite childhood snacks including shrimp chips, butter coconut cookies and grass jelly drinks. I also ordered food for take-out and while I enjoyed the meal, I was not thrilled with the dim sum. - Chicken lemongrass vermicelli: Yummy!! The chicken was delicious and the portion was large enough for two meals for me. - Shumai: Definitely not the kind you find in a dim sum restaurant. The shumai tasted like they were just steamed from a frozen pack. I don't know about their other dim sum, but I was quite disappointed with the shumai.

They also have an attached Asian market. Nice little spot to match the other area pho restaurants. They have bubble tea too.

Pair it with the cheapest quality of rice on the market (Uncle Ben?). Call it Panang curry. I had to throw it away, and for me to throw away food it must be absolutely stomach-turning. The young lady at the register had a slight accent, and in order to do pleasant small talk I asked her where she was from, having an accent myself. I thought we may be from the same country. She said she could not reveal private information. That was absolutely weird, also considering that customers receipts, including their signatures and how much they tipped, are pasted by the register. An absolute and far more serious violation of customers' privacy. But, if we stick to the food only, it's an absolutely must avoid. Minus 10 stars. That bad and worse.

The food came out piping hot and fresh. Both dishes were tasty and reasonably nice portions. The Pad See Ew did not have a lot of pork, however it was fresh and good flavor. I ordered medium spicy and it came out perfect. The Basil ground pork dish had a lot of green beans and not much of the basil flavor I expected but it was fresh and flavorful. I would probably hold the green beans next time but that's my preference. Overall, everything was very good and hit the spot. I would like to try some other dishes next visit. I would give it a strong 4.2 if I could rate in between 4 and 5. Also note our service was excellent and the server made numerous visits to check on us. Thanks

During my first visit, I stopped in on my lunch break to place an order. From the moment I walked in, the initial interaction felt uneasy--there seemed to be confusion or hesitation in how I was greeted, and while I waited for my food, I didn't feel particularly welcomed sitting in the lobby area. On my second visit, I dined in. While eating, a manager began sweeping and cleaning very closely around my table, including using cleaning products nearby. What stood out to me was that other guests seated in a nearby section were not approached in the same way, which made the experience feel uncomfortable and distracting while trying to enjoy my meal. On my third visit, while ordering, I selected a dish I was familiar with and excited to try. However, I was repeatedly questioned about my choice and encouraged to order something more "basic." When my food arrived, I was only given a fork, and when I requested chopsticks, I was asked if I was sure I needed them. Throughout the meal, there were additional comments that made it feel as though my preferences and familiarity with the cuisine were being second-guessed. Individually, these moments might seem small, but across multiple visits, they created a pattern that made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Because of this, I've decided not to return. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to reflect on how all guests are made to feel in your space

The takeout was neatly packaged and deconstructed (I just got the pho tai), and you put it together at home. It was quite good! Fast forward when pandemic started to let up and the tables were out and you could eat in. Wow, well the eat-in experience was just way more enjoyable. But I really just enjoyed ordering food at sitting for a change. The workers are super nice and accommodating. It gets busy here at times! And no surprise... as the only pho business in town! Now is it the best pho I've ever had? No, but it is quite good and I'm not going to be picky! They have the basics plus some. Wish they had the coconut juice and smoothies, but I rather have the good food. We come here almost weekly, if not more! Warning however, don't expect big city cheaper prices. This is the only pho in town and they charge in line with it. What we order for 2 adults and a kid is *almost* twice what we'd pay even in CT. But it's good enough to warrant it. If there's ever another decent pho place that comes to Bluffton however, it might be beneficial competition for diners. A big draw... their pork dumplings are AMAZING!! My daughter and husband loves them so much, they insist on their own appetizer each. They are so well crisped all around and just so tasty. Definitely recommend! Also, I always end get their regular beef pho (pho tai) and we get my daughter the chicken on broken rice. (Oddly it's not actually on the menu, but they have it). It's like sliced up thin chicken in a delicious seasoning that's sweet but also a tiny bit of a kick. My daughter hates spicy but still eats this! It comes with a sweet sauce (one similar to the kind that you pour on a bun (noodle) salad dish), and my daughter likes to dip the chicken slices in it. I keep thinking I'd branch out to try other dishes, so maybe I will eventually! If you are hungry for pho, or some other great dishes, definitely come here!
