Roasted beef n goat cheese arugula and grilled salmon

I found this place on Yelp and I'm so glad I did! This place is across from FLETC and next to Sally Cop Shop. The cafe is so so charming, quaint, and cute. It was very homey and cozy and I love their decor. The food was excellent and so was their cookies! We got two salads, I LOVED my grilled salmon on the roasted beets and arugula salad! My friend got the power mix bowl (which has a fire-roasted flavor of the veggies together). We got their cookies on displayed, it was a pecan brown sugar chocolate chips cookies (guessing from the ingredients) and it was just so delicious! Soft, chewy and full of goodness! So glad we found this place and was able to try it!

The white bean chicken chili #1.

By far one of the best kept secrets in the Golden Isles. Tanya and her crew prepare the best and healthiest food in the area. The white bean chicken chili is to die for and the Mexican rice bowl with salmon is scrumptious. I love this place and they are rated 150 in my books. On Tuesday of this week I had the fish sandwich with cheese and it was marvelous!!!!!

    Gluten free Lemon Blueberry Muffin

This is one of the few restaurants I've been to that takes all the pandemic precautions - hand sanitizer, limiting capacity, staff is wearing masks, temperature checks at the door, and social distancing enforced. All the safety for staff and patrons! Aside from being impressed about that, the service was fantastic, and the food was amazing! I came with my small baby and I couldn't quite figure out what to order for him so I requested a piece of pumpernickel toast ($2). I will admit that there was some initial sticker shock when I got the check, but the bread was very pillowy and fresh. Im assuming it was the owner but she came out to make a round through table to check on food, at that time she offered to bring my baby a side of oranges. He's never had them and ended up loving them, so that was very much appreciated. I ordered the power mix bowl with Salmon ($14.50), and it was bomb! The salmon was cooked perfectly, and seemed of fresh/good quality. The bowl was a perfect portion for me too. I also ordered a gluten free lemon blueberry muffin (~$3) for dessert that was served warm, it was the perfect little treat that my son also enjoyed. This was my first time stopping in Brunswick, but I make the drive to South Carolina once a month. This establishment is no where near the highway but I'm glad I sought it out, and I will definitely visit again!

Spent 8 weeks at FLETC and visited many times. Everything is delicious. Nice that it's across the street from the main gate.

It's definitely more of a small, family-run spot than a trendy restaurant, but that's part of the charm. The service is great and they cook everything fresh. For a town like Brunswick, having pho this authentic and consistently good is kind of a hidden gem.

The owner is very friendly but the Pho is unfortunately the worst I've ever had (I've had pho more times than I count across more than 7 different states) and our experience, aside from our interaction with the owner, was subpar. To start, the restaurant itself is very hot, no AC, just fans. The walls and tables were dirty and greasy. Looks like a hole in the wall place, which gave me hope that the pho would taste authentic but I was severely mistaken. Also, because of the no AC they had the doors open which led to flies landing on our food and water as well as being splashed by the pouring rain coming into the restaurant. Our waitress did not pay much attention to us and when asking her the difference between some of the pho options she said "I don't know because there's nothing on the menu that I like" LOL she also complained that the owner was "cheap" when explaining that they don't have an ice machine and she would have to crush up ice in a towel using a hammer. Anyway, my husband and I were willing to overlook all of this if the Pho was worth it. We both got the Pho Bo (beef noodle soup) and he got his spicy. If you've never had authentic pho, you might like it. However, if you've have good Pho before, you will most likely not enjoy this. It was the blandest greasiest broth I had ever had. It didn't even taste like pho. At all the pho restaurants I've ever been to, they provide extra garnishes like lime, jalapeño, bean sprouts etc. We did not get anything other than the limes I asked for my water because they didn't have lemon. They didn't even give us spoons for the broth, I had to ask for them. Both my husband and I ate less than half of our small bowls before we decided to just leave. It's a shame because the owner is incredibly friendly but we will not be returning.

These rolls were one of my favorite parts of my whole meal. I would order them every single time. I appreciate the freshness of each of the dishes. The vegetables are just over el dente. So much flavor in every single bite! The chicken larb was well seasoned. It came out on lettuce instead of the menu mentioned cabbage but it made it more of a salad. I didn't mind because it tasted wonderful. The spice level here is to be respected. I went with a 3 on all of my dishes and it was plenty hot. The server also brought us a spice tray which had 3 different items to choose from. I added some of the Thai chili sauce with fish oil. Deep and funky it adds another layer to an already delicious dish. Service was friendly. This place gets busy and food sometimes comes out a little slow. Be patient and respect the process. The food came out piping hot and fresh. Both dishes were tasty and reasonably nice portions. The Pad See Ew did not have a lot of pork, however it was fresh and good flavor. I ordered medium spicy and it came out perfect. The Basil ground pork dish had a lot of green beans and not much of the basil flavor I expected but it was fresh and flavorful. I would probably hold the green beans next time but that's my preference. Overall, everything was very good and hit the spot. I would like to try some other dishes next visit. I would give it a strong 4.2 if I could rate in between 4 and 5. Also note our service was excellent and the server made numerous visits to check on us. Thanks

Pair it with the cheapest quality of rice on the market (Uncle Ben?). Call it Panang curry. I had to throw it away, and for me to throw away food it must be absolutely stomach-turning. The young lady at the register had a slight accent, and in order to do pleasant small talk I asked her where she was from, having an accent myself. I thought we may be from the same country. She said she could not reveal private information. That was absolutely weird, also considering that customers receipts, including their signatures and how much they tipped, are pasted by the register. An absolute and far more serious violation of customers' privacy. But, if we stick to the food only, it's an absolutely must avoid. Minus 10 stars. That bad and worse.
