I get my Brazilians/bikinis done often since this year with them. Every waxer I've had, makes me feel comfortable. I personally prefer their wax over sugaring elsewhere from experience, but everyone's body is different. The only reason I am giving a 4 stars is due to my visit with them the end of July, one of the girls had a used stick on the floor. She did mention that she was the only one working that evening. Which is hard on her I'm sure -- but the cleanliness that day wasn't the best and seeing that made me feel icky I didn't say anything because I didn't want to give her a hard time. But also my skin was a bit more irritated from getting my wax done by her after that day. So she might have just been a less experienced waxer. Other than that, no complaints thus far with them.

I noticed a few people mentioned pain and wanted to mention that may vary based on your pain tolerance and the esthetician's experience or ability. Karli is great and I barely experienced anything yet which is also i prefer sugaring over typical waxing :) What I thought was a unique perk as a first time customer was that she offers a free touch-up within a week of being seen (to support minimal growth apparently!). From seamless appointment booking through text all the way to the service, I can't recommend Lady Lam enough. Christine is very talented at her craft, she thoroughly explains the process of her services and products and you can tell she puts extreme care in the work she does. In the past I tried a few salons to get my Brazilian wax but none of them felt comfortable. My first experience at Lady Lam was so comfortable, Christine made sure I was well situated, was gentle and also distracted me with her wonderful presence. She is a wonderful listener and her studio space is well appointed. I also have for a couple facials with her and they were so relaxing! The prices for all of her services are very reasonable for the service that lasts for a long while. You will need to book with her well in advance (month + recommended) because she is in high demand. I don't have super high expectations, but I DO expect to NOT have to go home and finish the job for you. That happened here. I shouldn't have to pluck hairs from my eyebrows & lip immediately following my appointment. I tried this place three times, w/different techs, and this occurred all three times. During one of my appointments they took WAY too much off one side which was shocking.....and embarrassing. That was my *last* appointment with them. **NOTE: I have reviewed the businesses response to my post and it's incorrect. My skin does redden easily (I'm a redhead) but it doesn't exempt it from hair removal. Plus - if skin sensitivity was an issue, wouldn't / shouldn't their tech have said something to me since they're sending me home w/hairs still visible? Wouldn't my facialist have said something by now (she hasn't). I've been seeing her every two weeks for 10 years. And I've had my brows waxed for 30+ years. It IS possible to do it correctly.......

I had a basic pedicure with regular polish and a buff and shine on my fingernails, while my granddaughter had acrylics and Gel X based on a photo she brought in. What stood out to me was their willingness to make adjustments. When I wanted my nail shape changed or felt the polish needed a little touch up, they fixed it right away, no questions asked, and even apologized. My granddaughter showed them a photo of what she wanted. Throughout the appointment, they checked in with her and made adjustments based on her feedback. The final result wasn't an exact copy of the photo, it was actually better, and she was thrilled with how it turned out (the flower was hand drawn not a jewel). What impressed me most was that they genuinely cared about making sure she was happy and were willing to make changes along the way until she loved the result. (The photo here is before they finished and cleaned her hand up). Reading some of the negative reviews, I wonder how many people communicated their concerns during the appointment. In my experience, if you speak up, they genuinely want to make it right. They can't fix something if they don't know you're unhappy with something. The salon felt clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. It was a hot day outside, but the inside felt cool and comfortable the entire time. I occasionally noticed staff helping other customers while I was there, but I never felt neglected and the delays were brief. For me, a salon visit is a chance to relax, so it wasn't an issue at all. If I had been in a hurry, I believe I could have communicated that and they would have accommodated me. Overall, I found the staff kind, accommodating, and focused on customer satisfaction. In a world where good customer service can be hard to find, this team stood out. They listened, cared about the outcome, and made sure we left happy. I would not hesitate to return and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, reasonably priced salon experience.
