10 stars this was my first ever wax (Brazilian Wax) I was beyond nervous and thought it would be a crazy amount of pain. I'm a sucker for pain. Jeana did SUCH an amazing job. Talked me through the whole thing. She worked quickly but also gave me moments to breathe. Honestly I was pretty surprised by how little pain it was compared to what I imagined beforehand. Jeana gave me detailed post care instructions and tips to prevent ingrowns. Her space was beautifully decorated. You can tell she takes pride in her work and her spa.! Clean but also relaxing atmosphere I'll be coming back regularly to her for as long as she stays in business! If you're nervous for a first wax I HIGHLY suggest you go to her.!! I went for a wax. Due to miscommunication and my fear of missing the appointment, I got in the wrong day. She was kind enough to fit me in her schedule. The waxing itself was good, she was fast and clean. Why 2 stars? Because I dont care how good the services are if the owner is unreachable. Scheduling is a nightmare, and as the other person said, once you confirm that the time will work, she gets booked up. It was due to this fear I showed up on a wrong day. She should not have a groupon if she cannot take people due to her busy schedule. She even made a remark if "i just use groupon for waxing". As a customer I was offended as I am genuinely looking for a good spa which I can rely on. I went to the last lady for 1.5 years and then she moved out of state. read more

Scheduling nightmare. I'm cancelling my groupon because it is impossible to communicate and schedule an appointment with this company. Seriously so so frustrating. She only responds by text and l, after we've decided on an appointment date and time, I text to confirm a week prior to the appointment and she says "sorry that date is spoken for, how about (another date)?" I can't say enough good things about her professionalism, the actual treatment, and the end result. Most places just offer the dermal planing , she includes a gentle peel and a facial. I did the dermaplaning facial last week. Immediately after the treatment, I noticed red spots and marks (like long scratches) on my skin from where the blade went too deep.. A few days went by and my skin started getting worse every day, the red spots turned into raised red bumps, turning into white heads- eventually breaking out into a huge red bumpy rash/ breakout and my skin was covered in white pustules- worse than my skin had ever looked in my entire life!!! This ruined the trip that I was on in San Francisco, forcing me to cancel visits with friends that I had planned for weeks due to being so embarrassed about the state of my skin. I even paid to go for a facial while I was out of town and the women who did the facial was incredible and in the days after that, my skin finally started healing. I texted Jeana the owner who did my treatment pictures of my skin and what was going on and asked her what she would do to fix it- since I was now out the money for the Groupon and this new facial, I felt the least she could do was see me again to try and heal the rest of the breakout. I told her that when I got back to Seattle, it was 45 minute drive for me to get to her salon so I wanted to know what she was offering before I wasted my time going back. We had been texting for several days now, and she offered free facial if I came back. When I got there, she had a women who sold her skincare line in the office, and decided to ask me THEN IN PERSON if I wouldn't mind having this women watch over my 'facial' and look at my skin. I'm not a confrontational person, so I agreed even though I was really upset that Jeana did not ask me ahead of time so I could consent- which I wouldn't have because I was already in a bad enough mood after all of this. I am extremely upset now more than ever because I drove 45 minutes back to the salon- over an hour and a half round trip plus traffic- for some lady I don't know to stand over me telling me how 'good my skin looked' and that I should be 'happy this breakout happened' (even though I was still broken out with this rash from my dermaplaning treatment and my skin looked far from good) and she spent the next 20 minutes trying to sell her products to me! The 'facial' that I went out of my way to come back for to fix my skin consisted of washing my face and applying a mask for 10 minutes- no extractions, no ultrasonic treatment (which she initially tried to sell me because she said it would have healed my skin) none of that! just a 10 minute mask followed by a serum and I would NOT have driven all the way back to her salon after a long trip just for that!! So not only did I waste my time and not get an actual facial or treatment to heal my skin, I had to deal with an un-known women literally standing over me for 20 minutes repeating herself and pushing her products on me- but the icing on the cake, Jeana was also trying to get me to buy her products which I was intially all for until now. I told her that after what happened to my skin the first time, I wanted to see how my skin reacted after what she just put on my face (which was the exact same products she used in the facial that caused the huge and embarrassing rash). She gave me this sales pitch about how I need to stay on her products only and insisted I buy the trial kit- 5 tiny samples that get you about 2 uses each of the lotion, face wash, serum, etc- She told me she was giving me 'her cost' on it because she's such a nice person and to be honest that's the least she could have done after wasting my time and the state my skin was in after seeing her!! She charged me $29 for this tiny pack of samples which again she claimed was 'her cost'! I went home and googled it- you can buy the same kit online for $14!!! And I called the company, they sell it to their wholesale accounts for less than $10! SO SHE FLAT OUT LIED to make a few bucks off of me! And that's why I won't return, she lost my future business, and I will be sure to spread the word because even after all of this, my skin is still in WORSE condition than it was when I first went to see her and I'm still dealing with a breakout/ healing from the rash that was not present on my skin before the initial treatment. So disappointed- All she had to do was provide me with an actual treatment to heal my skin or not lie to me about what I'd be receiving when I drove 1.5 hours round trip back to her salon, after being devistated that this disgusting rash ruined my trip to San Francisco. She clearly doesn't care, and just wanted to make some money off me by charging me triple what she paid for a sample kit and lying about it. The women who did my facial to fix my skin in San Francisco has followed up with me twice to see how my skin was healing. Has Jeana, the owner of this salon followed up? NOPE! Waste of time and money and now I need to find someone else locally to get my skin back to where it was before this treatment (and no, not allergic to ANY skincare ingredients) read more
