Chaz is just great. He's very, very busy and sometimes he over schedules but for the services you get and the quality of it, you simply can't find a better person to fgo to. I had a complete detail: A full wash, clay bar, and wax with the trim taken care of. The wheels and tires were scrubbed and cleaned and the tires were coated with a protectant and shine material. The door jambs and windows were also clean. For the interior I got the headliner, leather, and all the windows cleaned. I also had the leather conditioned and the carpet shampoo'd. I called a few other places and was quoted for $200. I did not pay even half of that. It would have taken me at least 6 hours to do the job that Chaz did and he did it better than I could have in 2 hours. On top of it all, he's the only car detailer I've ever worked with that doesn't think they're always right about everything all the time. Moreover, he's the only one I've ever met with any kind of technical knowledge about what he's doing. I apologize for the poorly written review but detailers like Chaz don't come along very often. I'm a products engineer and I work with a lot of chemicals used to build cars nowadays and Chaz is the only one who could properly list the materials and the best, non harmful way to clean them. Go Chaz. read more

I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning. I left a voicemail to schedule and received a call back from a woman, and we scheduled my appointment for 3pm on August 10. At 3:30, I called since nobody had shown up. A man (Chaz) answered the phone, and I asked if I was still on the schedule. He just said, 'I can't finish a job if people keep calling me". An hour later, he called and said, 'I'm here to clean your headlights". He was at a different address, looking for a different person. He accused me of lying about having an appointment, called me a "fucking idiot" and then hung up on me. On the plus side, Groupon was lovely about refunding my purchase. read more

I purchased a Groupon to have my carpet cleaned on March 20. I called the same day and confirmed an appointment for March 23. March 23 shows up, but the company has a no-show. I didn't even get a courtesy call saying that they needed to reschedule! I called the company the same day, and gave them the benefit of the doubt that there was a miscommunication. However, I still have not received a return phone call from them! Do yourselves a favor: Do not give this company your business. read more

I bought a Groupon deal for auto detailing at Wax Man Industries, in Spring Valley. It says a $220 detail job for$89. I got my car from my elderly mother and she didn't clean it often, and I have some medical issues, so I couldn't do it myself. So the Groupon came at the right time. I made an appointment for 2:00 on Saturday the 19th. I got there about 1/2 hour early, cause I always get to places early. When I got there they didn't even know I was coming. Also there were 4 friends of the guy who was doing the work for the owner, cleaning their own vehicles. The guy said about 3 hours, so off I went to find someplace to kill for 3 hours. All I found was a strip mall that had 3 out of 50 stores open, and luckily, one was a pizza joint, Fernando's Pizza, so I got a small pie. When I went back to pick up my car, it looked pretty good from a distance, but the closer I got the worse it got. Windows were streaky, no Armor All on the tires or any other place on the car you usually use Armor All. They didn't wax or buff it out, and just gave it a regular wash I could have gotten at the car wash down the street for $7.99. And by the time I pulled out of the place, it was 5:45. So it took over 4 hours to wash and vacuum my car, and do a pretty lousy job on the windows. I decided not to complain, since the boss wasn't there, and instead I called Groupon to complain. Groupon apologized, and sounded like they really meant it, and returned the $89 back to my account. All I know is a basic auto detail consists of a hand wash, bug/tar removal, tire/wheel clean and shine, windows cleaned inside/out, plastic restored/protected, entire car hand waxed with high quality wax, carpets vacuumed/shampooed, and minor paint defects repaired or even buffed out. None of this I received for $89($220 without the Groupon), so anyone wanting an auto detail, go to your local car wash to have them do it, cause you'll get a much better job than you would at Wax Man Industries. I noticed 3 other reviews that gave them 4 out of 5 stars. They were either the owners of friends of the owners, cause my car looked like crap for the 4 hours they had it. read more

Why give a good deal and then stick it back at you? This guy is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The whole thing stinks! Chad and another lady came to clean our minivan. They cleaned well (as you would expect from a DETAILER) but left several areas dirty. I took photos next day without driving the car. I called him to talk about it. He called me CRAZY and accused me of harrasment. His attitude was so bad, it's hard to describe. He gave us a great deal, but with it came a TERRIBLE customer service. I'm still shaken from the phone conversation, not calling him EVER again. read more

We've been in the middle of moving which I'm sure everyone on here knows is one of the most hectic times a family can have, especially when it comes down to taking care of the family car -- my husband's pride & joy toy, our 2011 Blizzard Pearl Toyota Highlander. So after week's of trying to get the house in working order, our car looked like a disaster zone. The epitome of it's filthiness was my husband finding out that I had brushed my hair in the car by picking up several long, golden blonde, fine but stray hairs that took him from exhaustion with the move to 0 to 60 hyper-drive frustration. IT WAS TIME TO DO SOMETHING. So as the stars would have it, I glanced through my Groupon application via my smartphone and found a $12 for $30 mini-detail car wash/interior cleaning deal. I immediately called the owner, Chaz, who was professional, super accommodating, very knowledgeable and still squeezed us into his busy for a reason schedule. As an added bonus our SUV size highlander was still the same price. YOU CANNOT, and I REPEAT, CANNOT get a highlander-size vehicle washed and detailed for less than $12.00 ANYWHERE. So my husband, son and I thought "Why not?" Even though we live in Fallbrook, we stayed local running errands to ensure that our car would get some much needed TLC. We called Chaz to let him know that we running about 15 minutes late because of these errands and again, he ensured us that he retained one of his most trusted employees, Henry to complete the job for us. We found the business, were immediately greeted by Henry who offered us beverage & even had us put a movie on for my husband, son and I as we waited for our car to get her ROYAL treatment. There is nothing mini about this job! Henry was beyond amazing, he was PERFECT! He kept providing us updates about the weather & our car at appropriate intervals making sure that our family was comfortable while we waited. Because of the time change, it was dark & even started to sprinkle, but Henry was determined to get our car back into it's beautiful tip-top shape...WHICH HE DID ACCOMPLISH! It did take a little longer than expected but it was WELL WORTH THE WAIT. Henry took our car from DRAB to FABULOUS! She LOOKED & even SMELLED BRAND NEW! Added bonus, my husband could not find a single hair on mine anywhere in the car! YAY ME! I was beyond overjoyed which is why I feel compelled to share this company with fellow family, friends & YELPERS everywhere. My husband who normally spends hours working to detail his own cars & is so picky when it comes to who can touch or how someone touches his car, was 100% IMPRESSED! He took several of the owner's business cards & plans on sharing them with his fellow law enforcement associates & all of our friends who want only the BEST of the BEST for their toys...oops I meant cars! :)! Previously we had some teenagers in our neighborhood work on my husband's limited edition Scion XB which cost more than triple of what we paid at Wax Man Industries and resulted in spotty work at best. We've also tried local car washes/detailers from North County all the way down South whose prices again skyrocket the moment your car is bigger than a golf cart (i.e. SMART CAR) and their results fail in comparison to Wax Man. Even with the rain, our car was restored to her former glory & looked far better than even my own husband' work. On a side note because I like to be comprehensive with my reviews...the business is located in sort of shop-like environment. So it's probably best if you're going to have to wait for your car to take your second vehicle or have a friend take you to a neighborhood food spot, etc if you're not okay with hanging in this type of environment or you can always try to utilize their mobile detailing, come-to-you services. Because I have nothing but boys in our family, my husband, my almost 10-year old & I (who grew up in my dad's mechanic shop) were totally comfortable with waiting there. Families with smaller children again may want to find other activities to do in the meantime. I cannot understand some of the complaints on here as we were treated with nothing but professionalism, respect & kindness for our first & many more experiences with what I consider to be one of the BEST if not the BEST detailers in all of San Diego County. My husband, a second-line supervisor in federal law enforcement & a lover of cars, would never leave his autos with anyone he couldn't trust to do the job...which is why I am so cloud 9-ing the fact that we scored this incredible deal. In closing, as I know you have far better things to do with your time than reading my reviews, trust me when I say, you can trust Chaz and his associates with more than just your cars, but with your business! Thanks Chaz & Henry for making believers out of us car wash skeptics! You guys are AWESOME & WE WILL BE BACK! read more

I was really impressed with the detail and my car looks brand new! The owner Chaz went above and beyond without even asking retaped my mirror which was sadly hanging on to dear life to the car . You will be well taken care of and you get so much more for the price without an upsell which is refreshing so I will definatly be back! In addition you are treated like a person with great customer service which is a rareity these days. Awesome job done and have no problem recommending this business Neve M read more

We hired Chaz for a deep clean of our home upon moving out. He gave us a great competitive deal for a deep clean and carpet steaming. We made an appointment two weeks in advance and received a confirmation the p day before. Chaz and his partner arrived on time ready to get the job done. In addition to the fact that they did an amazing job, they did so in our apartment that had no air conditioning. Our air conditioning broke the day before and they were forced to clean the home in really hot conditions. Our place was very clean and the job was done in the time that they said it would take. Furthermore Chaz guarantees his work so when our ridiculous landlords were unhappy about something that already was there upon move out Chaz was nice enough to go back and deal with them. He's a great guy, works hard, and our place looked great. We received our full deposit back which was exactly why I wanted them to come. Highly recommend! Thanks. read more

* I recently bought a sunburn-damaged Infiniti and wanted to spruce it up a little to reduce the embarrassment of driving an old (1997) luxury car with a bad paint job. Don't confuse what Wax Man Industries does - to make your car look like new - with the crappy one-hour "detailing" jobs offered at car wash places. * Wax Man Industries is run by a top notch "artist" named Chaz Morgan. I call him an "artist" because he's also a graphic designer who works on show cars with a lot of skill at spotting flaws and defects. He figures out ways to "buff or clay-bar defects out" and / or making them less noticeable. He doesn't do paint, so if you have clear coat paint damage that goes down the metal, know in advance that the only way to get that fixed is to pay for a big-time paint job. (Spot paint repairs done by amateurs NEVER match the exact sheen/tone of the original paint, so don't even bother with that unless you're willing to fork over $$$ to an auto-body paint place to do the entire car.) * What Chaz does is makes sun damage and other blemishes 100 times less noticeable, sanding down the rough edges that tend to flake up that are real unsightly. He then buffs them with a special material so that everything comes out super shiny with an awesome reflection, almost like new. If you have a lot of sun damage to your car, I recommend leaving it with Chaz so he can spend a couple of days working on everything. This is not the kind of guy you want to rush. He's a spectacular artist, conscientious and eager to please. * If you are looking for a 2-hour rush job, well, I say you'll get what you pay for. You need to ditch the coupons and meet the man because he offers fair prices when you consider the intensive labor involved in getting a car to look like new. I found him via Amazon Local and I thought the price being offered was way too low given what the man's stand alone website (http://www.waxmanshine.com/) advertises, so I went "off the coupon" and asked him point blank what he could do - because my car was filthy and looked like junk when I brought it in. In the end, you can get a good-as-new restoration from Chaz for under $200, a little more if you have side panels that are also burnt. (But in most cases, sun damage is limited to the top panels of the car, e.g., the hood, the roof and the trunk.) This guy is simply the best. As I say, my car isn't perfect because I had spot paint damage that went down to the metal on top - but get this, my car now looks SHINY all over. The guy can also restore headlights and buff up rims. I urge everyone to visit his website at http://www.waxmanshine.com/ - and get educated FIRST - about what can or cannot be done with a car that looks really bad. If you want to avoid a $1500 to $2500 paint job, take it to Chaz. You'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

My Mom recommended this company to me, since she had just had her car headlights cleaned by them. I definitely needed mine done, seeing that I have never had them cleaned before. If I would have thought about it before this review, I would have taken a before and after picture. I called Chaz on a Saturday morning, and by chance he was in my neck of the woods, same day service is always a plus in my book. I told him I was not going to be home, but the Man of the house would show him to my car. Well, by the time I got back home 45 minutes later, he was just finishing up, and all I can say is WOW. Price was great, lights are bright and shiny, and I am a Happy Client. Call him if you need service done. read more

I purchased a coupon online for car detailing for this business. I have no idea how this person's services are, because I could never got in to see him. I bought an Amazon Local Deal for a car detailing, and tried contacting them many times before I finally got a call back and was able to schedule just as the deal was expiring. He had to cancel at the last minute, but assured me he would still take the deal. After that I tried calling and e-mailing, and finally just had to call amazon to get my money back. His voicemail is always full and cannot accept new messages, and he does not respond to e-mails. You can try to contact them but don't count on it! read more

wax man industries detailing in well worth the effort, not only are the people that work there really proficient at there job, but there also just good people in general. i stayed and watched chaz and his blonde helper while they worked and i could tell that they where not only focused on there work very intent on doing there best in pleasing their costumer. i was somewhat uncomfortable with trying a new place but i can tell you that coming here was was definatly a good decision. 4 out of 5 stars. not the best detail i've ever had in my life, but BY FAR the best detail i've ever gotten for the price. read more

These guys made my 12 year old Land Rover look like new. Great Job!

I dropped by the shop on 04/09/12 @ 8AM after purchasing a Groupon for a mini-detail. I parked my 07 Scion, stepped out, and proceeded toward the main office. I was immediately approached by Chaz (owner) and spoke with him about the promotional offer. Though I absent-mindedly hadn't called in to verify if any spots were available, Chaz was very professional and agreed to service my vehicle right then and there, even after I apologized and offered to return at a later date. At that moment I felt a sense of comfort and confidence in how he viewed his clients. I stepped aside and let Chaz work his magic. He took great care in making sure not to miss anything and even ran after me afterwards as I began to pull away to polish up a few spots that were still left. Nearing the end of the mini-detail we even had a conversation about his business and other miscellaneous topics. I enjoyed my experience at Wax and will definitely be returning for other services my vehicle may need in the future. I highly recommend, and will be recommending this establishment to anyone seeking not only quality service at a great value, but also a place where the customer is treated as a friend, which is lacking in the majority of businesses today. read more

I received a Groupon gift certificate to Wax Man as a birthday present. I have a 2004 Mazda MPV mini-van that I use to transport my big, very hairy dog. So the van had lots of dog hair and very dirty leather seats from the dog's wet feet. I specifically requested that he pay special attention to the filthy seats. Back in September, my client, 95 decided it was time to give up the car keys and the car. I've known this lovely lady for several years now. Much to my utter surprise, she unequivocally stated that she wanted my niece, 23, a college student in AZ works full-time and saturdays and goes to ASU-- full-time and not much coin in between-- to have the car--. It is a 1995 Camry, one owner, low miles. The exterior of the car and headlamps were were heavily oxidized, the steering wheel had a serious case of "ick"; the upholstery was in good condition but had some serious "old people smell". Since I like doing business in my own neighborhood and saw all the very nice reviews for Chaz-- and the incredible transformations of the vehicles he worked on and conveniently located, I took the camry down to him. Chaz brought this little beauty of a car completely back to life. She looked brand new, like it had never been driven. The engine compartment was nothing short of A-mazing. Every square inch of that car had been cleaned, polished --with love. Thank you Chaz! -- read more

Fantastic. Full Detail, interior and exterior. We drove in with a trashed DODGE Durrango, so awful I would not drive it. It came back to us looking new. I had purchased a Amazon local deal for Carpet Cleaning/Rugs. I emailed the company to schedule an appointment and never heard back. Weird? So I called them and left a message. A few days later heard back from Chaz he explained it would be best to pick up my rugs and then bring them back due to the fact I had wood floors. Sounded good to me so I made an appointment for pick up. I took time off work and time to move all my furniture and roll the rugs up. No show!!! I called 30 min past my appointment time and he said there was an emergency and he had to leave town. His employee was going to come and get the rugs but he took the van keys with him. Hmm.... would have been nice if you called me and said you had to reschedule. I am an understanding person so I gave them another chance. This time I told him I can not miss work for this so please pick up on Saturday. Saturday comes, again no show!!! Really?? I called he was still on a job in spring valley which is 30 minuets from me and would be a few more hours. That was all I could handle. Canceled the whole deal and got my money back from Amazon. Thank god they are a legitimate company!!! I love u amazon! If you can not handle showing up to an appointment how can I trust you with my property?? Very sad I was looking forward to having this done. Wax Man take note you need better customer service, correction you need customer service in general!!! In no way is it acceptable to waste peoples time and not even seem to care that you are inconveniencing everyone. DO NOT do business with this company unless you have all the time in the world to sit and wait for them to not show up! read more

Used a groupon here for my car and one for wife's car. Both times it took longer than expected. When I went in for my appointment he had lost the appointment and asked me to reschedule. Was very apologetic, no biggie, these things happen. I wasn't impressed with the value, even at the groupon price, but part of that I think was my cars are fairly new and didn't really show the benefits of a good wax job; they're always kept in a garage and the factory paint is still pretty good. Chaz did do a great job clay barring all the bug guts off my car, I commute to work on the 67 and it gets nasty. The inside of my front windshield had a haze on it when I picked it up, I got home and wiped it with a dry paper towel and it came away black. Some water spots here and there. Wife's car still had some crumbs and the like in the console, not the greatest job. Won't be asking for my money back, but I probably would if I hadn't paid groupon prices. read more

I purchased a Headlight Restoration coupon from Amazon Local. I was excited to get this done on my 2001 Echo. I made the appointment for September 02 at 12:00PM. I was starting to worry after 30 minutes passed and no phone call to let me know that he was running late. After 1 hour, still no phone call. Finally at 1:10PM, I get a phone call from Chaz, letting me know that he is running late and is driving from Escondido and that he would be there in 30 minutes. It wasn't until almost 2:35PM that I get a knock on my door. It was Chaz, who seemed confused at first as he thought I was getting my carpets cleaned. After we cleared the confusion, he started to work on my headlights. My initial impression of the company wasn't great because I thought a phone call informing me that he was running late would have been thoughtful and professional. But after talking to Chaz and understanding that he was having car trouble, I was trying to put myself in his shoes. It took less than 30 minutes and the end results were completely amazing!! It was well worth the wait. My headlights look damn good now. I am impressed by the quality of his work. I am so impressed that think I may have to get a full outside detailing job to match. Chaz is a super busy man but was pleasant to talk to and did an outstanding job. I will definitely use his services again. read more

I purchased an online deal for $19 headlight restoration. I spoke with Chaz to schedule an appointment. We settled on a time that worked for us both; 8:00am on a Saturday. There is one word to describe Chaz at Wax Man. UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I had an appointment first thing on a Sunday morning and 20 minutes before the appointment he called and cancelled. He claimed he was not feeling good but it sure sounded like he was out too late Saturday night. Now I am a very understanding man but this was strike one. If you know you are sick the professional way to handle your business would be to call your customers the day before and cancel, not 20 minutes before the appointment. I told him that I would call the next week to reschedule which I did. He was driving at the time and told me he would call me back which he never did. Strike two. If you are a professional you would make sure to return your customers calls promptly. The week after Chaz blew me off for the second time I called again to reschedule. Since he mentioned that he had too many people trying to get in before their Groupon vouchers expired I agreed to schedule my appointment for a few weeks out. Chaz personally wrote me into his schedule book so he knew I was coming. When I arrived at the address listed in the Groupon and his website just before 9:00 am on a Tuesday morning, the door was locked and Chaz was not around. My wife and I waited for 15 minutes before I called Chaz. He did not pick up the phone but did return my call within 5 minutes. When I told him that I had been waiting and the door was locked he told me that he had moved his business to the next building over. Chaz is not even professional enough to have put a sign on his door that he had moved. This was strike three. When I explained to Chaz how dissatisfied I was about trying time after time to get our cars detailed he began yelling at me that he only makes $20 off of each Groupon voucher and that he will never sell on Groupn again because all of the customers were "like me". When I told him that his bad business decision was not my issue his yelling turned into screaming. Chaz began acting very immature and was screaming so loudly that I just had to hang up. My family is connected with many car clubs in San Diego and they will all know to stay away from Chaz and Wax Man industries. His facility is not the kind of place you want to bring your car and his attitude is so negative and childish that I would not even recommend him to my enemies. Good luck Chaz and you may want to look into some anger management help based on the way you spoke to me. read more

You get what you pay for!! This guy has great prices, and after the crap job he did I see why. I took my 12 year old vehicle in for a interior detail and engine clean. He starts with the engine. Sprays it down, then shows me. Looks ok, but I have seen better. Still some dirt not expecting it to be spotless but shinny at least. Chaz tells me he doesn't do the "gloss" finish on the engine because it would look like it just got detailed.... really?? Thats what I was paying for!! NEXT was an attempt at the interior. I say attempt because he started on the carpet and seats. Apparently my car was to dirty for his rug doctor to handle. So dirty in fact that he used his high pressure hose to spray the inside passenger carpet. I asked what he was doing and he tells me dont worry the car has drain plugs at the bottom for the water to drain.... then he tells me he cant finish the seats because they were too dirty and his rug doctor cant extract all the dirt.... At the end of the "detail" he gives me a number to an Auto Upholstery person and recommends getting new carpet..... my passenger side carpet never dried and now smells like mildew. Thats what I get for trying to be cheap. Should have rented a rug doctor on my own... Thanks "WAX MAN" read more
