My truck was a mess. They only charged $60 for a mini detail which was more like a full detail. The owner John is amazing and chatted with me as they washed my truck. I will definitely be back and recommend everyone go in for a wash. read more

Had a great experience at Romeo's Car Wash in El Cajon. I brought my SUV in for a quick hand wash since it's wrapped in PPF (paint protection film), and they did a really nice job taking care of it by hand and not running it through the machine which can potentially cause swirl marks. The car came out super clean, inside and out. Dominic was very helpful during checkout, and overall the team was professional and efficient. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. There was a little confusion on pricing at first. My Nextdoor neighbor app friends told me to expect a $45 plus a $5 SUV fee, but was initially told $55 by the owner. However, the final charge ended up being $50 for my SUV, which I appreciated that there was no additional charge since my car is midsized. I also made sure to tip 20% to the guy who washed it. Overall, really happy with the service and I'd definitely come back again. read more

My paint hasn't looked this good since the day I bought it! Glossy, smooth, and freshly waxed. For the price, it's unbeatable. Thanks for always being so friendly, welcoming, and providing great service to me and my car. read more

I went in after putting off washing the car and these guys are so nice and got all the bird droppings and dust from the desert off it AND! Arkan was a miracle worker with buffing out old scratches! :) I really wasn't too hopeful but wanted to give it a shot and he did it and the car looks new again (he even cleaned up the scratches on the hood from when I dragged a vacuum cable over it.) I'm so happy how it turned out. :) I will be always coming back here to have my car taken care of. read more

This car wash is awesome. Huge shoutout to the manager Chris. I've been here 3 times now and he does an excellent job. Hard working guys and they'll make sure your car is clean. Definitely give this place a shot. read more

This is my 2nd time bringing my M5C to this car wash.. I'll be honest, I'm extremely skeptical about who touches my car with anything. I've always been the type to wash it myself because I trust my own hands more than anyone else's. But ever since I started running my own business, I just don't have the time to get down and properly clean it like I used to. That's what led me to Romeo's Car Wash, and I'm glad I gave them a shot. From the start, they were professional, straightforward, and most importantly, trustworthy. There was no headache, no overcomplication, no stress, no bs. I literally just dropped my car off, went about my day, and picked it up when it was ready. The biggest thing for me was peace of mind. I didn't have to worry about how my car was being handled or whether it was being rushed through the process. They took care of everything, and the results showed it. If you're like me and usually hesitant about letting anyone else touch your car, Romeo's Car Wash is one of those places that actually earns your trust. Will be recommending friends and family. read more

Edit: Had my usual hand car wash and this time I was sitting around the corner and wasn't watching, should have but someone left many long random scratchs all over the hood and roof of my truck all the way down to the primer. Someone obviously used a brush on it and also looks like a scratch pad in random places. Unfortunately I didn't notice it until the next day. I am furious and know that no one will there will take responsibility for it saying that could happen at any time. No it happened at your car wash the scratches weren't there before. I have been to the grocery store once since my last car wash and this did not happen at the grocery store. Thanks for the $850 bill that I now have to pay to get it fixed. I won't be back beware people! read more

I give only one star, not because they did a bad job, but on the contrary, the work was excellent. 1 star, I give it for the manager, a certain jhonno, cared that there were clients, started to mistreat them and remind their mom, I do not know how he can be in charge, he will get the owner into a legal problem. read more

John is a rock star and The fellas are amazing... They work well and hard.... my truck came out amazing

Great family run business! They did an amazing job on my truck and my daughter's car!

Wash was good, touch less is key with new car paint!! Thank you for having so many options and stalls available!

I have been coming to Romeo's Car Wash for over 20 years; in fact, I have had the premium unlimited car was the previous 8-10 years. The last year the service has gone extremely down hill. I think they might have changed ownership as all of their options have changed. The previous two times I went there I asked for the "Mini Detail." The first time I went they said that two other people also wanted a Mini Detail so I had to come back in an hour. The second time, they stated two employees were out to lunch, so they couldn't provide the service. I desperately needed a car wash since my dog had dirt prints all in my back seat. Anyways, I went ahead and did a regular car wash. When they opened up my back doors, they just looked at the dog prints and didn't even bother to wipe them down. This used to be my favorite place but unfortunately, the service has gone down hill. read more

I went to the Santee Romeo's for a light interior/exterior detailing. Since they are so new, they didn't have all the equipment to do the work. Chris called their other location, explained what I needed, and sent me over to the El Cajon location. I got there and John took care of me and my car. No upselling, no BS. Both Chris and John were very nice and professional. I will absolutely go back to Romeo's for and car cleaning and/or detailing I need. read more

Love Romeo's car wash. Great value and service they offer everything you need at a fair price. They offer full detail also

Sat in traffic for 35min. Only to be directed through fresh muddy asphalt. Very disappointing. Romeos' took extra care and did a fabulous job! read more

This place is a joke. Paid for "full service" wash for both interior and exterior. They started with the interior, half way through the work they informed me that I would have to come back another day fornthe exterior wash because they didn't have any water. As for the interior, it's half ass at best. There is still dust and dirt everywhere and other parts of the interior look like they didn't even touch it. And to top it all off they somehow managed to lose my nation parks pass in the process of doing their half ads sub par work.. they did give me a voucher to return for the exterior wash but I'm pretty sure a drunk monkey would do a better job read more

Great customer service! Best car wash I've had in a long time! My car looks amazing! Will definitely be back!

These guys are fantastic! Attention to detail and hard working people. My trucks look amazing

I know I have written other reviews about Romeo's car wash but this time it's because I had their special detail. My car is 8 years old, but I have always taken good care of it and I'm very particular. As I have gotten older, I am less willing to do any of the detailing of my car, so I decided to try Romeo's because they have been doing a very good job on my car washes. The engine had not been cleaned in several years, and I was beginning to be embarrassed about taking it in for regular maintenance. I hate to admit, but it was filthy! When I went to pick up my car, they opened the hood and I looked at it, and all I could say was WOW, I can't believe it, it looks brand new! My carpets are an off-white, and they came out spotless and nice and fluffy. My interior is off-white leather and it looks beautiful. They clayed my entire car then waxed it and when you run your hand over it, it is as smooth as silk! So, thank you once again Romeo's for keeping this fussy old lady happy!! read more

Waste of time and money, from the moment you drive up to the car wash you are greeted with a very bad customer service not friendly and attentive at all, then the service wow! I got the works should I say I paid for the works I got the worst service keep in mind only 2 cars being washed while there . The interior was not vacuumed properly and simple things like wiping the dashboard was not done. If you can avoid this place do ,can't imagine how bad it is when it's servicing more than 2 cars at a time. Plenty of employees there but only 2 of them working the rest (4) of them smoking and arguing in Arabic. read more

After coming here for five years, just spent $500 with $40 tip to have two vehicles fully detailed. I went over the expectations clearly with the foreman. They never opened the hood or cleaned the bed of the truck, and there's still bug residue throughout the paint and windows. And there's abrasion to the cap trim where the buffer hit. I took the day off from work to get this done. I called them back to ask them to make it right, but Sam was short and only had excuses that they had done it right arguing against every point I made. It's one thing for a company to fail to perform, but it's another when they don't make things right. Photos are from right after the truck was driven home. This place came referred and I wanted to continue to do business here, but no more. Caveat emptor. read more

By far the best Wash I've been to worth the $45 for hand wash in and out definitely recommend coming here. They are very fast and responsive and my car looks way better and cleaner than it does through a regular car wash such as soapy Joe's me personally, I don't like to go through machines which every car wash has a machine, but the fact that they have a Xpress hand wash, they take care of you and make sure your car is clean before it gets out huge thank you again definitely coming back here with all my other cars and my friends and family read more

Love this place. They do a great job and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it

Have been coming here for years and always have exceptional service and the quality of work is excellent!

Love the service everytime I get detailed and reg car wash. Romeos car wash is the best!!!!

I paid $25 and my windows are still dirty the roof of my car was not dried it did not include the vacuuming and they only armor on the right side of my truck not the driver side... When I asked them to dry the top of my truck I was met with some attitude. I will no longer take my car washing business to them read more

Horrible service, they upsell you and then give you a basic wash. I paid $19 and they spent literally all of 30 seconds wiping it down. I just sat there for a few seconds in disbelief. Finally, I got out of my car and found the two lazy workers sitting against the wall smoking cigarettes. I told them I paid more to have my tires cleaned and they said "no that's $22". I said "you aren't even going to dry the rims, they are still filthy"? One guy grabbed a rag and spent another 15 seconds doing something. At that point I just drove away. I stopped at a gas station down the street and had to finish wiping my car down myself. I've never seen lazier workers who could care less and have no pride in representing the business. read more

This used to be my go to place. Still the guys at the front do a great job of cleaning your vehicle really well before they send it through the shoot. But then on the other side, the guys drying your car... absolutely do a horrible job. They're asleep at the wheel. They don't get the windows like they should. They barely wipe off the dash. They leave dripping water all over the truck. Pretty sad that there's nobody managing the guys on the back end of that place. read more

Poor quality wash. For what they charge, $17 for wash and wax, left my car half dried, stains still on car & windows, barely cleaned inzude windows. First time here, don't think I'll come back, for the $20 I gave , I expect atleast clean exterior. read more

I wish the customer service was better because I really wanted to give them a try. They gave me a quote for $160 for a basic detail. Sounded steep but I told them we wanted to check one more place and will be right back. This place was 4 minutes away. Drove there and back and then he said it's too late now he won't do it. So basically the loss of stars was for completely wasting my time. Location 2 stars, service unknown, customer service 0 stars. Just very rude. His response was "well you left". Like I know, I told you I wanted to check. 8 minutes is "too late" for them since they stop detailing at 2pm. Small businesses are suppose to be a little lenient. Not here. read more

I take my truck here every week for a hand wash, they typically do a adequate job and they charge me $40 and I give them $60. Today was a different story not only did they have an attitude they did a poor job. I will not be going back.. they act like they are the only car wash in El Cajon,,,, wrong read more

Worst car wash ever. It was $38 to have the outside washed and spray waxed, and the inside vacuumed and wiped down. Only problem was they didn't vacuum the inside! And the way they wiped it down left streaks where it was clean in between the dusty places. But the worst part was they somehow tore the plastic off of the rear bumper, didn't mention anything and certainly didn't repair it. A good Samaritan driver pointed at the rear of my truck so I pulled over and saw it hanging there. read more

So I had good recommendations to have my daughter take her car there for a good wash and armor all. Apparently they were all pricks and don't treat people with respect. It sucks that the people there are not friendly enough to want people to come back especially during these times. I wish the one on the other side of the 8 fwy was still open, at least they were good and always friendly. read more

I went to Romeo's car to try it out. The customer service was terrible. The guy couldn't care less if I was there or not. Another guy asked me if my car was salvaged. As far as the work, I speak for their $35 service thinking their do a good job cleaning my car. But it was sloppy. After I came home and moved some things around I saw that they didn't vacuum half the car. The windshield was still a little dirty. And the parts they did clean on the inside, were still not that clean. Will never go there again. I'd recommend staying away from that place!!! read more
