Mom's 2008 Honda Accord needed detailing desperately; after Yelp sent out the distress call, and comparing price points, availability , promptness, etc., I contracted with Splash Mobile Detailing for their interior detailing package. They were the most responsive, reasonably priced, close to me and they had availability when I needed them: early the next day! Splash let me know who is coming (Gabriel), and what time. On the day of service, Gabriel texted to let me know he was in route -- much appreciated! Gabriel arrived and set up his tools; service began at 8:30. Perfect time for me to take Pros: 1. Garden hose NOT required! He has EVERYTHING -- and I do mean everything in his mobile unit: water, electricity, shampoo, you name it, 2. Time estimate of 2 hrs, advised to BOLO for "job completion" text. Cons: WEATHER! Of course it would have to rain early in the morning and be overcast; kept the car open for as long as I could to facilitate drying. There were a few minor areas that he couldn't really get to, considering the weather, so maybe it'll be removed next time, time & weather permitting. Was not what I expected or paid for honestly. I found them on here and it said to call for the 10% off for first time customers. I had called a couple of times and left a voicemail the day before and never heard back from them. I went ahead and scheduled it online as it was the quickest one I can get scheduled for. I paid extra for sand/pet fur removal along with paying extra carpet shampoo and wax on the car. Very nice guy that came out and on time. I got the silver wash but again, added the extras cause I just wanted mainly the sand and fur out. He quoted me 2.5 hours. Was closer to 3 when he was finished but when I saw my car, I was a little disappointed. There was still a lot of fur and sand in the back and said that he would need to spend more time on it but I would have to schedule another time and pay again. There were marks all over the car that he never got to, or wiped down. The AC vents were still dirty along with the center section. I ended up just doing it myself with a vacuum to get the rest out and wipe down the areas that were missed. Spent another hour which I was avoiding doing cause I wanted to get something nice done for myself. I spent $226 on a detail that wasn't very detailed. When I mentioned about the 10% off, he had to call his manager and he wanted to argue that it wasn't for my deal as I got the silver and not the other two washes. Then argue that I needed to call first. On yelp, it had said for "first time customers" and like I had said, I had called them twice and no one picked up and left a voicemail. Only got the two stars cause the guy who washed my car was nice and on time. Really not worth the money spent read more

My husband and I finally got our cars detailed after moving and having the cars outside for 3 months. Were we amazed or what! We have 3 kids we love and adore but they destroy our cars with food, toys, drinks, kicking chairs, and just being kids. We got both our SUV and truck detailed. Both looked brand new (the MDX) or close to (the truck), like the day we bought them but even better with the major touches they did. The car smelled brand new, polished well and the seats finally thoroughly cleaned. They took a lot of dirt and grime off. I hired Splash to remove scratches that someone had deliberately put in my car as it was parked in a public parking lot near my work. Gabe was nice enough to even come check the scratches out PRIOR to my hiring them. He described the work that would've needed to be done and assured me he could remove them. I had gotten other offers for this job but because Gabe seemed knowledgeable and had actually seen the scratches, I hired him. Gabe arrived at my home on time with Joshua and they went to work on my car as I did things around the house. They did a good job on the actual detailing, but were unable to remove the scratches. I'm really surprised when I hear a bad review of Splash. I've been going here for more than a decade and have never had a bad experience. The staff are really nice, freshwater is used at the carwash (most car washes reuse their water therefore putting salt etc. on to your car). I always find that they do a good job. The inside of the car is wiped down by hand. I have also brought in my father-in-law's car for detailing and they did a beautiful job. If you are not happy with the job that is done I would suggest speaking to the cashier or the manager. I highly recommend Splash car wash as well as their detailing service. read more

I've always been skeptical of any mobile work, HOWEVER in this case the cost of my complete detailing came in at half of my typical spend and was 90-95% of the typical quality I'm used to. I'm so confused at what I paid $100 for? In addition to the guys working showing up 10 minutes past the window time this job was so unprofessional. Carpets are still dirty, seat still dirty, cup holder still dirty....I could have overlooked everything else but I was very explicit about the car seats being my issue and for them to look EXACTLY the same I'm so irritated obviously you can't tell when the seats are wet but when they dried I was expecting it to look clean. This shit took and hour and a half like dead ass what were they doing? For $100 go to a real detail place where they take the car seats out and clean your car appropriately and take pride in their work and have a real facility to clean your car because this is a mess. read more
