Got my car ceramic coated with Derick. It came out amazing, it was like I was looking at a mirror and the price was good! Will definitely keep coming back for car washes and ceramic coat maintenance. Give Derick a try, you won't regret it. read more

Derick’s Mobile Detailing - My ceramic coated 2026 Mazda 3 Turbo Hatch - Auto Detailing Near Me - San Diego, California

This place is a joke. They will schedule a service with you and then no call no show. It's completely unacceptable especially when all you have to do is text saying you won't make it. I got lucky and found a professional service that showed up and did amazing work to which I happily paid three times more than I was willing to pay Derick. *** I do not have the incorrect business. Your phone number listed here is the number my husband communicated with you on. read more

Derick came out to Spring Valley to clean my RS5. He spent a good couple of hours meticulously cleaning it up inside and out, and he did a fantastic job in the end. We worked together to find a good time in the afternoon; he promptly showed up and got to work. Price-wise it was a bit expensive but my car needed that level; I'm happy to have paid for it. If you need a truly next-level detailing job, Derick is your guy. read more

I asked Derick to detail my Sierra 2500 and RX350. He worked HARD all day, and was very communicative about what he noticed and how he can help remedy it. He did a fantastic job and will definitly be calling him again in the future. read more

Admittedly my car was in bad shape. I hadn't kept up on cleaning it for a while. I'm thinking about trading it in for a new car soon, so I needed a good detailing! After reading reviews I chose to use Derick's mobile services. He did an amazing job. He made sure my car was as clean as it could get. He even worked on it until it got dark to make sure I got the quality service I paid for. His prices are about the same as most car detailing services and the mobile service is convenient. Definitely recommend him and would use him again in the future. read more

Just got my new (used) car back from Derick. This thing had swirls scratches everywhere. It was BAD. After Derick was done with it, it looked like a BRAND NEW CAR. He doible buffed and hit it with a xeramic coating. Looks GORGEOUS. Highly recommend read more

Derick and Ryan did a wonderful makeover of my Mom car. They were polite, informative, and gave my jalopy a lot of TLC. On top of that, they were on time for arrival, professional and performed timely service for a fair price-and they come to you . I recommend them. read more

High quality with great attention to detail! Very knowledgeable and helpful with a lot of useful tips at maintaining your car finish.

Derick did an awesome job on my ceramic coating. My car looks good, super glossy, and clean, and honestly better than when I bought it. He's easy to talk to, and clearly knows what he's doing. No upselling, no BS, just solid work. If you're thinking about getting your car detailed or coated, just hit him up. You won't regret it. read more

I Resquested a Service from Derricks Mobile Detailing. We confirmed 3 Pm the following day worked for both of us. At 2pm the following day i had not heard from him, he never requested any contact information so i reached out confirming our 3 pm appointment. He said he booked another appointment because he didn't confirm mine. Instead of acknowledging where he went wrong he continued to blame me for the misunderstanding. I'm in the military and i don't have much free time, i rearranged my schedule to make sure I would be available for our appointment just for him to never show up. If i didn't reach out, i would have never known he wasn't going to show up. Very unprofessional and he was very unapologetic. If he wasn't sure the appointment was confirmed, he could have just followed up and asked. read more

I hadn't taken my car for a proper deep clean in over a year, and Derrick made my car look like I just took her off the lot. He was super quick to respond to my inquiry and was extremely transparent about pricing, how long to expect the service to take, and was available the day I requested. Definitely recommending him to everyone! read more

Excellent service. Arrived on time. Easy to schedule, very responsive. My car is sparkling.

I called on 7/29. Needed my wife's very dirty car detailed (detailed inside and out - [carpets did not need scrubbing], clay barred, 1 year ceramic coating) to surprise her when she returned from a biz trip on 8/1. Derick's squeezed me in on the following Thursday (7/31) late afternoon. It took them about 2 1/2 hours to complete the job. Note: I quoted 2 other detailing companies. I chose Derick's for responsiveness and reasonable price . Unfortunately, I don't remember the names of the two guys who did the work, but they did an excellent job. When they were finished the car looked better than the day we drove it off the dealership's lot 4 years ago! The wife was pleased and surprisingly didn't scold me for splurging a bit. I highly recommend Derick's Mobile Detailing! read more

Got the ceramic coating package and Derrick arrived on time, he was courteous and friendly, did a great job with my car, and did the detail and ceramic coating within a reasonable amount of time. Took about 3.5 hours and that is exactly what he said it would take. It cost $355 since my car is brand new and the machine polish was not required. Derrick did a great job. My car came out shining and beautiful! Highly recommend! read more

Derick did an amazing job on my car (I am extremely picky when it comes to having people detail my car...). He showed up on time. He was professional. He really spent time on the car. You could tell he truly cared about the quality of his work, and I appreciated that. I would definitely recommend him. read more

I will start by saying I do not typically post reviews unless I am very happy or very unhappy about my dealings with the companies being reviewed. I am very pleased to say this review of Derick's Mobile Detailing was written due to the outstanding quality of work and customer service I received from Derick during my first interaction with him. I recently purchased a new 2024 Ford Ranger Rapture and decided to apply a ceramic coating to to protect the paint. This was not the first vehicle I had ceramic coated but I decided to look around for a new automotive detailer based on the poor service I received from other companies in the past. When I first contacted Derick, he explained my options and prices based on my needs. He explained paint correction was usually recommended as part of the ceramic coat process even though the vehicle was brand new with only about 500 miles on it. I knew this to be true based on my previous experience with other ceramic coat detailing companies. Derick told me he would have to look at the vehicle before determining whether or not paint correction was required. To make a long story short, after inspecting my truck Derick told me paint correction was not required which saved me money on the job. He could have easily told me the opposite and charged me extra for something I didn't need, but he was honest and did not overcharge me for something I didn't need. Derick also offered to take me home and bring me back to pick up my truck once we agreed to have the work done at his location rather than mine since my location was not suitable to accommodate the work. Derick did an excellent job on my truck and his attention to detail was impeccable. He also treated my wheels with a heat resistant coating and treated all windows with a water repellent coating. I could not be happier with the quality of work, honestly and customer service I received from Derick's Mobile Detailing. I will continue to go to Derick for all my future automotive detailing needs and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work, honesty and great prices for automotive detail work. read more

Derick came on time, was very nice and professional AND my car looked great. I will definitely schedule with him again.

Recently purchased a Tesla Model Y Performance and contacted Derick within days of delivery to apply the System X Professional Ceramic Coating. Per usual, Derick offered to perform the work the same day at a great rate and meticulously spent hours to ensure that the car looked perfect. read more

If you want your car to look brand new again, look no further. Derick's service will not a leave a single dirty spot. When he told me that it would take him 10 hours to clean my car, I could instantly tell that he was going to perform the best possible detailing job, and he sure did not disappoint. read more

I highly recommend Derick's Mobile Detailing service. I recently took my Mercedes GLE 350 to Derick for a wash and detail and I am so glad that I did. I purchased my car from an auction and it was not in the best condition upon delivery. It was dirty and smelled quite a bit, especially whenever I turned on my AC. I also had a lot of dirt on the outside of my car from numerous trips and to the desert, as well as a bunch of dirt and sand on the inside of my car from beach trips and whatnot. Derick was able to clean everything up and had my car looking, feeling, and smelling even better than when I first got it. He takes his time with every detail and treats your car with dignity and respect like it's his own. He is very professional and knowledgeable. read more

Derick was kind and professional from the start. I contacted the website around 8:30 in the evening and he responded within a half hour. I've had many cars and prob a hundred or so "details" over the last 20yrs....and hands down Derick is the best (seriously). This guy works so hard to make your car shine better than the first day rolling off the lot. Derick has completely restored and detailed my old S500, two vintage Land Cruisers and my wife's E55. I've never seen a more professional and dedicated operation than Derick's. If it can be cleaned and brought back to life, Derick will give you the best result possible. In Summary; - Reliable, shows up on time, doesn't leave till the job is done! - Very reasonable rates - Quality of the work is phenomenal - Mobile (he comes to you!) Get on a monthly "cleaning" plan with him, and keep your ride looking and feeling amazing. Thank you Derick for all your hard work on our cars!! read more

Derick was prompt and arrived on time for our appointment to remove overspray on my Mazda CX-5. Virtually all the overspray was removed and the paint job had a brilliance I hadn't seen for some time. Derick's attention to detail reflects in his excellent results. I highly recommend Derick for your next detailing job. You will love the results. read more

Derick was the first person to respond to my request for a quote so I went with his service and boy I am glad I did! :) My car was very, very dirty due to me being depressed about covid and not wanting to really go out too often or deal with the filth. Long story short, Derick put some TLC into my baby and now "Justin" as I call my Honda Fit is sparkling beyond belief. Derick is very nice and patient, he also KNOWS what he is doing. My husband and I will be using Derick's service from now on and I have already passed out some of his cards because I am getting tired of my neighbors asking who I used to detail my car. Derick is on time, professional and a great mobile detailer. I want to mention one thing, my husband came home after my car was done being detailed. He told me that Derick's car looked like a floor model at a dealership. He said that the sign of a good dealer is to look at his car! Thank you Derick and we will see you in a month. read more

One word: PHENOMENAL. Derick is extremely meticulous and seems like the type of guy who could never half ass a job. He worked so hard on my car and now it looks brand new. He honestly went above and beyond my expectations for the full interior detailing I hired him for. To get all of the dog hair off of the floor and seats it took 4 hours of just vacuuming and scraping. THEN he could finally move on to the rest of the interior cleaning. That's dedication and some insane attention to detail. I will always be calling him when we need an experts touch and he will be my #1 recommendation for all car cleaning and detailing. Also his prices are extremely fair and competitive. read more

Derick worked on our Chevy Avalanche truck to get it ready to sell. We are super impressed with how meticulous he was. He was a pleasure to have around. We will definitely ask him to come back again for another vehicle! Highly recommend. What won us over on his services was the product he uses on the black plastic trim- it's ceramic and lasts long, versus a coating product that washes off after the first wash or rain. Attached is the most dramatic before and after extraction on our carpets and subwoofers. read more

Derick completely rejuvenated my Ford Explorer! I knew my seats were a hot mess. I wasn't expecting him to do be able to get ALL the stains out because they've been on there so long. But he did!!! Derick is meticulous, driven, detail oriented. All the things you'd hope for in a car detailer. He is competitively priced considering the quality of his work. My car looks brand new!! I still can't believe how beautiful my car looks. Upon closer inspection, I can't find a single piece of trash or dirt in my car. Holy smokes. Thanks again Derick!!! read more

Took my brand new 2023 Tesla Model Y to get protected by the best detailer in the game. I am so happy that I found a company that is 10/10 on customer service and 10/10 on quality of work. I reached Derick through Yelp then text. Derick responded quickly and shared a menu of what is offered. I opted for just a wash and interior vacuum as I just had my car detailed. Derick arrived on time and answered any questions I had. I wanted to make sure he had experience with ceramic coated cars, which he was. When Derick completed the job he made sure I had a chance to look at the work he did before he left in case I had questions/concerns which I did not. My car looked amazing! From the tires to the interior, it was left sparkling and clean! You can tell Derick takes pride in the work he does and doesn't rush the process. Payment was also easily ready for me as I was working in my office at the time and didn't really check in on him. I got alerted through my phone that my car was ready and I could pay then or after I checked car. I appreciated that as I didn't have the same experience with a previous company. After checking car and making payment we also were able to schedule the next visit! I am so happy we found a company that is honest, work is quality, and price is reasonable. As well as being mobile and the company coming to you! Don't hesitate to make that appointment! read more
