This is not one of my favorite Wawa locations just bc it's off busy VAB Blvd. Still, it hits the spot when you're in the area in need of essentials, snacks, or gas. I've stopped in several times and have found gas prices to be fair, pumps available, and the inside clean and well-stocked. I love Wawa - their coffee and food is on point and they've done a great job at providing a standard level of service at all of their locations. I've been in here several times. This Wawa is typical of all the others in the area. This Wawa is located next to Lowe's on Virginia Beach Blvd. There is a traffic light to get in and out of this place as well. On my most recent visit, I had come in for Hoagiefest. They do this every summer where you can get a classic size (10 in) for a discounted price than the rest of the year. On this visit, I got the Italian (classic size). The hoagies here have always been good. I've never had any issues. They also tend to have specials on Tastycake items there as well, such as 2 for $3 or something along those lines. They have many different to go options as well, such as breakfast sandwiches in the mornings and stuffed pretzels after breakfast hours. This location also has a gas station, which is competitively priced in the area. I don't tend to get gas here very often because I can get it cheaper at BJ's gas a little bit further down the road. This place does have some parking, though it can be limited at peak times. One thing to keep in mind is that those driving big vehicles like trucks and vans are not supposed to be parking right up front. The reason for this is for security. Trucks can easily block what's going on in there if something bad happens. I have seen many with trucks that park right in front of their sign that says no truck or van parking. If you drive one of those types of vehicles, please park elsewhere that doesn't block being able to see inside. Overall, this is a good place to get a hoagie and other little things. If you're in the area for something like this, this is a good place to come. Be sure to use their app as well for additional rewards. read more

This wawa is conveniently located in virginia beach blvd and is easy to get to. They keep the outside area very clean and organized. As far as in the store goes, the staff was enthusiastic and helpful. I decided to get a sandwich that the employees made on the sub line. I got the chicken parm and was not disappointed. A 6-inch, delicious chicken parm was $4 which is what made it even better. Tasty & cheap wiches, friendly staff, and wide selection of food. I will definitely be coming back and trying out more of their food. read more

I absolutely love Wawa but will most likely not be visiting this location again. I came in around 10 am looking to get the 2 for $4 breakfast sizzlis . All I saw was a full rack of nothing but croissant sandwiches. Went to ask one of the ladies behind the front counter and got," I don't know, they're coming. Whenever they do you can look or ask the people behind the deli/beverage counter." I proceeded to do so asked them with the response of, "I don't know what we have is what we have and she just went to lunch or break." So I left this location to go to another. Which had a fully stocked variety of different breakfast sandwiches and was much more professional and friendly. The location I am mentioning is the one off of Rosemont road. read more

This place beats out all the other gas station/ convenience store combos. They have a very modern fresh look and assortment of foods. I foul not believe the number of good-healthy-fresh food choices for on the go. Their easy ordering menu is fantastic. Oh, and the gas prices are usually very fair and low. I stopped in with two friends in the early afternoon on a Saturday to get some sandwiches for lunch. Their hot line wasn't working so no meatball or chicken parm, but they assured us that everything else was stocked. So I placed an order for a chicken salad sandwich, but was then informed that they were out of that too. Wonderfully remodeled! Love getting my coffee here every morning and occasional lunches - only room for improvement would be training the staff to recognize regular customers and stop asking them every single day of the year to donate money! They make it frustrating and embarrassing to say no ! If I gave a dollar every day that would be over $300 a year when I already donate to my favorite charities. Someone please do something about this, I'm almost at the point where I am considering going across the street to 7-11 for coffee, lunch & gas. My favorite Wawa in Va Beach, they're pretty fast when it comes to making food and the staff is nice. They're the only Wawa I've been too that uses chocolate chips in their hot chocolate. I would stop by when I needed something for lunch while working or wanted to get a hot drink on the way over to somewhere. The inside is always clean and neat which is nice. read more

LOVE WaWa. I go there every morning for coffee between 3 am and 4 am before work. There store has great deals and for the most part always clean. BUT as for the 95% of the employees there... INCLUDING MANAGEMENT. THEY NEED WORK. THEY ARE RUDE AND NO ONE SAYS "GOOD MORNING" OR "WELCOME TO WAWA" For the most part they don't even look up to knowledge you. When they do, they look like you are bothering them. Last time I checked they were getting paid to help customers. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS at the 1700 Virginia Beach locations. They have a killer business, just need better employees!! They need WaWa's president to go undercover to see how bad their customer service employees are and start cleaning house and hiring better staff like they have at Chick Fila with ZERO TOLERANCE to bad customer service. I been a head manager for over 15 years, and I would never tolerance any of my employees being rude or having bad customer services. They greet you when you walk in, smile and say "Good Morning, Afternoon, or evening. If they know a customer's name, they always greet that using their name. No matter what mood they are in they know they need to put it aside and make EVERY customer feel special. I find that to be the BEST customer services. WaWa need a lot of work on that. read more

Who the hell can understand this dissertation for an explanation??? A great way to anger someone already upset!: "I received your correspondence from your visit to my location and wanted to take a moment to reach out to you. I do apologize for the issue that you had so I would like to take a moment to explain why what we did was necessary. Taking any sort of drinkware, containers, etc from outside of a regulated public eating area could be considered a health code violation. That is certainly not personal concerning your belongings but in the eyes of the health department it would be seen as an item that was out of our control thus we could not verify it with regard to sanitation etc. Again this isn't about you or your belongings personally just our own need to stick to regulations and guidelines about what does and does not belong behind the counter. We as wawa employees do not even bring personal packaging items into the deli area. The larger issue to me however is that this wasn't explained to you at the time that it happened. I sincerely apologize for that and will certainly be following up with the gentleman that was involved. He should have taken the time to explain why his actions were what they were. Wawa has great service and low gas prices. I went here four days in a row back in May. It is always popular and the staff is friendly and efficient. I am hooked on the mocha mint iced coffee. It is a good thing I live in South Carolina or they would keep running low on it. read more

My car was running fine when I pulled in and filled up my car with premium gas. Upon restart car ran for about 5 seconds and then stopped. Could not get it restarted. Anybody experience bad gas today. My car had to be towed to the shop. Waiting to see what went wrong. read more
