First Wawa on the way into Reading. Always seems busy but easy in and out whether you need food or fuel.

KFC sits right across the street looking as deserted as the mall. So fortunate to have had the only Bojangles outside of the south for so many years. The biscuits are next level compared to what's served at other chains. First, they are full-sized, crisp-pockety exterior, flaky inside w/ a buttery finish. Maybe the only fast food item in history that you swear is homemade. Chicken has good amount of breading, spicer as you get closer to the bone, but not as spicy as it used to be as regular vs. spicy option got morphed into one. It's flavorful, moist, & brings some heat on certain unexpected bites. The sides: it has always been about the dirty rice- that's their signature. Golden colored rice w/ crumbled sausage, bell peppers, & cajun seasoning. The rest are mere subs for those who don't like rice, tho at times I appreciate the nearly potato wedges they call fries. Sweet tea is steeped in-store, not pre-bottled. I know people who roll up just to buy jugs of that. No longer have Bo in my backyard, which makes it all the more special when I do have opportunity to get it. Love the giant yellow box that announces, It's Bo Time! I show up at home with it, cheers happen!

Burrata Fritta is a generous sized and tasty fried cheese appetizer but, it only came with two small pieces of crustini so you'll end up eating most of it with a fork. Seared scallops tasted excellent as well but there was only 3 and they were the size of a 50 cent coin and about 3/8 of an inch thick. They were served over a generous bed of seasoned peas but, you are buying the scallops not the peas. Like I mentioned before, food tasted excellent there just could have been a little more thought out into appetizer creation. Entrees we selected were a just satisfying portion size and tasted excellent as well. We usually like to take home some of our main entrees for a later small meal but we ended up eating them both in restaurant. One thing important to note of importance to local diners is that entrees do not come with sides or salads. They must be ordered separately. Portions could have been maybe 8% to 10% bigger. I am not complaining but rather suggesting. I will definitely go back again to try some of the other entrees offered.

When my husband went there they said they had the order but had no bagels ready. He asked to speak with manager and he was told she was "too busy". We got the refund but I needed them for today. No customer service. I called the store and asked to speak to manager and an associate stated manager was busy. I said I'd wait. Someone in the background then said to hang up. AND... that associate did. I was hung up on. I called back and obviously another associate answered the phone and sweetly explained the system went down and allowed people to order bagels that were not able to be made. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT 5-7 business days for my refund and had to find somewhere that has that many bagels today. Corporate office did nothing as well. Not returning. I work in service industry. Cust service repair was necessary and not performed. SHAME ON YOU PANERA.

It was very disappointing that there was essentially nothing available for purchase.

My family has patronized this diner for decades -- my aunt and uncle had their wedding reception in…read moretheir event room nearly 60 years ago -- and we've eaten here a few times per year when we find ourselves in the area at mealtime. It's usually OK, typical diner fare, but today was a low point. It's a classic stainless steel diner, boasts a nice salad bar, and is clean and bright inside. Fixed booths, but plenty of tables available as well. We stopped by for breakfast just before noon today (they serve it all day like many diners) and it really fell short. how it began should have been our first clue -- we stood and waited a while for the manager to come out from the back and seat us. The waitress was quick to come and take our order though, and we ordered two standard breakfast choices -- nothing obscure or complicated. Nearly 30 minutes later we finally got our food. I don't know if it was missing one particular last piece, but I could tell parts of it were sitting under the heat lamps for quite some time. My scrambled eggs were hard and dry on top, and most of the food could be described as warm at best -- none of it "hot" or "fresh". The toast was barely toasted -- soft and not browned except on the very edges. Pancakes so cold, even the soft whipped butter did not melt, even in between two of them. When it was time to leave, there was a line of 4-5 others, because the same manager had disappeared again and I guess no one else could ring people out or something. We let him know about our bad experience when we left, and he said we should have said something when the food came out. Well, it's not like waitresses stand there while you eat and make sure everything is fine. And I wasn't about to complain and wait another 30 minutes for a re-do.
