So nice to be at a brand new wawa! Everything is bright and clean. And they are still celebrating their grand opening by offering free coffee! Plus special prices on shakes ($1.99) and shorty subs (only $2.99). They are right by interstate 95 entrances on the Northwest corner of Andrews and W Atlantic Boulevard. They will do exceptionally well here. Welcome to Pompano!

Spicy roasted veggie shorti (???)

What da fekh is this ‍ Tried to order lots of stuff in the app but kept getting an error message that prevented me from selecting options... so I just ordered a specialty sandwich called a spicy roasted veggie sandwich and let it stay as is without adding or removing options. When I got there, they only saw a shorti with cheese and tomato on it somehow... so they did ask me what I wanted on it, but a) didn't ask if I wanted it toasted or not or any condiments, and b) randomly stopped asking me about vegetable toppings and just decided they were done and wrapped it up out of the blue.. looking like this lmao. They never commented when I told them multiple times I placed an order for a Wawa sandwich called a spicy roasted vegetable sandwich & didn't care that I don't know what vegetable toppings Wawa has and doesn't have; they never offered any roasted vegetables. They only offered me jalapeño, pickle, or sweet peppers. They shoved these sandwiches at me when it wasn't as easy as they wanted and I gotta say, I can not eat this s*#t To be fair I think I have more beef with the Wawa app and internal communications than anything. But this is not the first time this location has royally Fed up my online sandwich order.

Ordered a bagel with EXTRA CREAM CHEESE what in the world is this. I wouldn't recommend this store

What the cluck was that? Because whatever it was... I'm still thinking about it…read more I threw all self-control out the window and ordered the Crazy Cluck from the "Loadeds" menu, and let's just say my diet is currently filing a complaint. Worth it. This thing is stacked: Nashville hot chicken tenders bringing the heat, creamy mac and cheese laying down comfort, crispy fries holding it all together, and that comeback sauce tying the whole party into one glorious, messy masterpiece. And yes... the pickles are not optional. They're part of the magic. It's basically everything good in the world tossed into one to-go box and handed to you like a delicious dare. Better than sex? Let's not get carried away... but it definitely earns a dramatic pause and a second visit. It's a quick service Nashville hot chicken spot that offers an artistic looks to a culinary compote of what you want out of life. So get to it. Thank me later.

Seeing the internet videos on the Crazy Cluck we decided it was worth the visit. Quite good and…read moreperhaps a bit short on chicken and Mac and cheese needed more cheese sauce. They started with a bed of well seasoned and crispy fries. They then add a scoop or two of Mac and cheese (wasn't wet or cheesy) and then two sauced chicken tenders chopped into 4 healthy pieces. For 20 bucks it seemed a little more chicken was required but the medium sauce was perfect. They then add a campfire type sauce that similar to a light bbq and ranch type mix. It was drizzled and likely could have had an extra squirt or two. Had 4 pickle slices on side that had a slight snap. Size was enough for two to share as meal, but family of four thought it was a nice sized snack. The place is quiet, almost two quiet for a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. The employees were nice and efficient and order made fresh in 5-6 minutes after ordering. Place appeared pretty clean but boxes in front area near restrooms seemed like they should be stored out of view. We would not hesitate to return and order it again. We would ask for more final sauce and perhaps extra chicken to make it a crazy chicke n bomb !

We arrived around 3:00 PM and had our order placed by 3:07 PM. Nearly an hour later--at 3:57 PM--we…read morestill had not received our food and were forced to cancel and leave. The bartender came over twice with the same empty line that our food would be out "shortly." That was clearly not true. "Shortly" turned into almost an hour of waiting with absolutely nothing to show for it. To make matters worse, at least two tables who arrived after us were served their meals before we got anything. That is completely unacceptable and shows a total lack of organization and basic customer service. When we finally decided to cancel, the manager suddenly appeared claiming our food was "ready." After making us wait nearly an hour, that excuse was too little, too late. What's even more telling is that the manager only told us not to pay for our drinks after we made it clear we would be leaving a review. That says everything about how they handle issues--reactive, not proactive. For anyone questioning whether this actually happened, I am attaching my receipt as proof that I was there and a photo of our drinks with the bartender and manager talking in the background. This place is wildly overrated. Poor service, terrible communication, and zero regard for customers' time. If I could leave zero stars, I would--but unfortunately Yelp doesn't allow that. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
