After placing my order, I politely asked him to make sure my burger was cooked all the way through. He responded sarcastically, saying that they were going to make it "raw." I told him that if my food was not going to be prepared properly, I would get my money back. Instead of handling the situation professionally, he continued arguing with me, making jokes, and being disrespectful toward me. I was recording the interaction because of how uncomfortable and inappropriate his behavior was. When I asked for his name, he told me his name was Jonathan. However, after saying his name, he started laughing, which made me question whether he was being truthful. The man I'm referring to was light-skinned and had long hair. I'm including this description to help identify the employee involved. The situation became even more inappropriate when he began making racist comments and gestures toward me regarding me being Spanish, including sticking his tongue out at me. I found this extremely offensive and disrespectful. I believe this employee's behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable, especially toward a customer. I am asking management to review the situation, including any available camera footage, speak with the employee involved, and take appropriate disciplinary action. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this complaint will be handled.
