a car at a gas station

This Wawa is close enough to Disney that it gets a lot of tourist traffic. The gas is relatively competitive in price compared to other gas stations in the area and it is overall pretty clean and well kept. If you are familiar with Wawa, I am sure that you are familiar with the food counter and the food offered. Probably the most popular item offered is their subs, which they call "hoagies." This is because Wawa was started just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the local term for a sub there is the term "hoagie." Regardless of what you want to call it, they make a pretty good sandwich, especially when you consider that it is coming from a gas station. In addition to the food offered at the food counter, Wawa also has the usual convenience store items. If you want more to eat and want to combine your gas stop with getting a meal, there is also plenty of food options in the area. All in all, this is a good option to get gas and maybe something to eat.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Chicken salad wrap was good. Smoothie was very refreshing. Staff was working as fast as they could during the lunch rush.

The service is very fast and friendly. The drinks were really delicious. I advise getting a smaller size and asking for a bigger cup as it's very sweet.

Nice little fancy wawa, big cold room for beer or kissing strangers. I liked that at the counter they had single candy selections for mix and match. Nice little option for optional desserts. Went in then out no drama. They had self checkouts to. Never seen that in a wawa.

Ordered a breakfast burrito this morning. Was given a burrito with bacon added not requested and not on my receipt. So disgusted can't eat this as vegetarian for 30 years. PLEASE pay attention to details. There is no excuse for this with the computer systems in your store. Thank you!

Huge shout out to the team at this wawa location the morning of 1/22/22. I made a large catering order for breakfast to serve my bridal party the morning of my wedding at the Grand Floridian. I called the day before and I made a request to have the order ready by 5:30am as I had a lot to get done the morning of the big day. Ada the manager that morning had her team on point and everything was ready when I walked in at 5:30am sharp. Grateful for their quality service and helping my day go smooth. Thank you to Ada and her team!

Excited to have Wawa close to the resort while staying in Orlando. Always friendly service and perfect for a quick bite on the go. Can't wait for my next trip to enjoy their sandwiches poolside.

I ordered a gluten-free cheeseburger as a lettuce wrap and specifically asked the employee to change his gloves before preparing my food. I watched the entire process and he never did. To make matters worse, they had run out of cheese slices and substituted cheese sauce without asking or informing me. I should have been informed and given the choice, not handed a burger with a substitution I never agreed to. Cheese sauce typically contains thickeners that may not be gluten-free, and I had no way of knowing whether it was safe for me to eat. When I raised my concerns with the manager, it was clear he had no understanding of cross-contamination. For anyone with dietary restrictions or food sensitivities, this location is not safe. I've been a Shake Shack customer for over 20 years and have never had an experience this bad. This location stood out for all the wrong reasons: poor food handling, no regard for customer safety, and a level of dirtiness I've never seen at any other location. Avoid!

Coming from NYC I do have very high standards for Korean food so it's important that I keep that context when writing this review. We arrived here on a Saturday night in February looking for some good eats after a long day at the parks. We ordered at the counter ramen chicken wings (one butter one) and fries. There wasn't much of a line and the shop is mostly self serve with utensils and water in the back, with a very casual vibe. Our food came out within 15-20 mins or so staring with the wings. I think these chicken wings are very hit or miss depending on your preferences. There was a lot of sauce on these wings so if that is something you like, it definitely hits the spot. However compared to other Korean fried chicken I have had previously, these wings are not double fried, so they are not quite as crispy as the wings I typically get, this is something to note as it is a personal preference. Staff was nice and helpful. The main reason for the 4 star review is the ramen, might have been some of the worst ramen I have had in my life. The broth lacked flavor, the egg was cold, and the meat tasted like plastic, I think dollar store ramen taste better imo. The wings were great and hit the spot and would recommend if you are fine with them not having the crunch typical in fried chicken but I would avoid the ramen if you are to come here again.

I don't usually go out of my way for fast food. But today? I did. I made the trip. I committed…read more Because when it comes to Raising Cane's, I'm usually all in. That's what made this one sting a little. Let me set the stage. I pull up to the Kissimmee location already knowing what I'm getting. This place has one job. Chicken. Not a massive menu. Not a bunch of distractions. Just chicken, fries, toast, slaw. Simple. Focused. The kind of setup where you expect consistency every single time. And then the tray hit the table. The chicken? Bland. Like no one introduced it to seasoning. And somehow also soggy. You know that moment when you bite in expecting that crispy crunch and instead you get... soft confusion? Yeah. That. It honestly felt like the oil wasn't hot enough. Which is kind of a big deal when frying is your entire identity. Now here's where it gets even more frustrating. Cane's sauce is usually the safety net. It can cover a lot of sins. Underseasoned chicken? Fine. Dip it, save it, move on. But it cannot fix texture. It cannot create crunch out of thin air. And when the crisp isn't there, the whole thing falls flat. The fries didn't do much to help the situation. Underdone. Under salted. Just kind of there. Taking up space. Not offensive, just disappointing. Like they almost made it to the finish line and then decided to clock out early. And here's the part that really gets me. When you only do one thing, you have to nail it. Every time. No excuses. No off days. No close enough. This isn't a diner with a 10-page menu. This is chicken. How do you forget to make it crispy? Now, credit where it's due. The Texas toast? Still elite. Buttery, golden, doing exactly what it's supposed to do. The coleslaw? Fresh, crisp, actually refreshing. And the staff here? Friendly, efficient, and the food came out quick. No complaints on the service side at all. So now I'm sitting there having this internal debate. Because I know what Raising Cane's can be. And this wasn't it. somewhere in the middle of that meal it hit me that I went out of my way for this and got a version that felt like it cut corners That's a tough pill to swallow in an area like Kissimmee where you've got options everywhere you turn. Great food is not hard to find around here. Which makes subpar chicken stand out even more. Three stars. And that feels generous based on the sides and the service carrying the weight. But let's be clear. I'm usually a five star guy when it comes to Raising Cane's. This just wasn't that day. And when your whole brand is built on doing one thing right, you don't get a pass when that one thing misses.

It certainly has a diner feel, so it's definitely not fine dining, and despite potentially large crowds due to events going on throughout the week, its flow is well managed and long lines don't take too long to get through. I stopped by with a party of 2 right after morning rounds of competitions in the convention center, and hopped in line around 11:15 am on a weekday. The line looked long at first but only took 10 minutes to get through. We sat down to order and was informed that they were still in the tail end of breakfast service so lunch would start at 11:30 am. Portions are between fair and generous, and after a nice shared key lime pie to round out the lunch, we left satisfied. Ambiance is casual and service was good. Check it out if you're in the area!

The dressing was nice and balanced, though I will forever wish for more feta (always more feta). The roasted chickpeas were good, but I wish they'd been toasted just a bit longer to get some extra crunch. Not bad at all, just missing that final texture pop I love in a salad. Service: 3.5 stars The cashier was friendly and polite. Food: 3.5 - 4 Stars 1. Three tacos - chicken, Barbacoa, and chorizo - 4 stars Favorite protein was the chorizo. Seasoned and juicy. The chicken and Barbacoa were a little bit dry. 2. 5 tacos - 3.75 stars Meats were braised beef birria and chorizo. Served on corn tortillas with onions and cilantro. The corn tortillas were dry and thicker than normal. The tacos had one tortilla to hold the ingredients. Other places would use two tortillas as the base. Also, they would have been better if they were heated and a little bit moist. 3. Steak quesadilla - 4.5 - loaded with cheese and diced steak. It was hot and fresh. Cilantro and diced onions are served on the side. It will fill you up. 4. Steak Taco Bowl - 3.5 Very filling w rice as the base and the diced steak was good. However, it was missing frijoles (beans) which was kinda' weird but each regional area is different from each other. 5. Loaded nachos with carne asada (steak). The colorful Chips were crunchy and light. The steak was good however, the cheese was processed nacho cheese instead of freshly melted shredded cheese. The dish can get messy so make sure to have enough napkins. The best proteins were the braised beef (birria) and the chorizo. Both were flavorful and juicy. Price: pretty reasonable for the different menu items. We will come back to try other menu items.

I was coming…read morefrom Disney Springs and heading to do some shopping up on Sand Lake Road so this was the perfect area to stop in. There are quite a few places in this complex to dying and so far I've had good food from all that I've been to. This area has really been built up in recent years. So he stopped in here during lunch and I was able to walk right up to the counter. I did have to wait a couple minutes before someone offered to take my order and then they had to step away quickly because the alarm was going off for the deep fryer and the taco shells were done. The other gentlemen working stepped over and took my order. I picked the General Tso's tacos which is kind of a fusion of Hispanic and Asian food. Then the website they come with a choice of crunchy chicken or extra crunchy chicken and then it's tossed in the sauce which is fairly mild and they add some of their lime rice along with cilantro, jalapeños and lettuce. It also comes with some chips. I asked for extra jalapeños. I realized later I should've asked for extra sauce. My food was prepared quickly and set up for me to dine in because I told them I was eating there. I did get a drink to go with my meal and I found myself a seat to enjoy my tacos. The jalapeños are very unevenly sliced, and there were some very large pieces in these. I probably got more than I intended, but I did like them. My problem was that the chicken itself just needed more sauce. I tried to piece on its own and was able to confirm this. The chips were good and helped balance the burn from the jalapeños. My meal was filling and enjoyable. When I was done, I went to refill my drink and grab a lid and a straw to take with me. I went over and filled it up and grabbed a straw, and I couldn't find any lids. I turned around and saw some lives on the counter, but when I walked over and looked, I realized they were only for larger cups. One of the employees walked over to see if they could help me and when I asked about a lid they said "oh sorry we don't have any lids for that size cup". I kind of felt that it would've been nice if they had offered me a cup that I could put a lid on, but I just took my soda with me and drank a bit so it wouldn't spill in the car on my drive. The surprise was that I got a text from Bubbakoos asking me to answer a few questions survey about my visit when I was in the car. So I filled out the survey and explained about my meal and that I enjoyed it, but they had no lids and I should've gotten more sauce for my tacos. Part of that is really on me. They were very busy once I was seated and I did not want to bother them. Someone from management sent me a message later thanking me for my review and apologizing for the issue I had and gave me a gift card towards my next meal. I was not expecting that, but I will put it to good use because I do like Bubbakoos.
