I entered the store through the rear entrance, it's easier to do if you were just in the plaza nearby. Walked about the store for a bit to see if there were any other snacks or drinks I might want, noting to not weigh down my bag anymore than it already was. Not seeing anything worth taking I headed to the register. The one item I did want was one behind the register. They had exactly what I was looking for and the employee working was quick. She also prompted me if I had the app, saving me a few dollars in the transaction. It is weird to see a Wawa out of its natural habitat. But worthwhile to see it thriving. read more

This Wawa is close enough to Disney that it gets a lot of tourist traffic. The gas is relatively competitive in price compared to other gas stations in the area and it is overall pretty clean and well kept. If you are familiar with Wawa, I am sure that you are familiar with the food counter and the food offered. Probably the most popular item offered is their subs, which they call "hoagies." This is because Wawa was started just outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the local term for a sub there is the term "hoagie." Regardless of what you want to call it, they make a pretty good sandwich, especially when you consider that it is coming from a gas station. In addition to the food offered at the food counter, Wawa also has the usual convenience store items. If you want more to eat and want to combine your gas stop with getting a meal, there is also plenty of food options in the area. On our second day in WDW after a long day in the park, this nearby Wawa came up on my radar! It was very close to our Hyatt hotel. The ordering system was a little confusing at first - order at the kiosk, then pay at the front register, then back to the food prep window to wait. However, we got our orders with a very reasonable wait (they were quite busy), and it was well prepared and yummy! My daughter had a cheese steak. Most impressive was their workers, the person making the sandwiches and foods and the person managing the orders. They were simply awesome. They worked quickly and efficiently, and I was very impressed by their high level of standard. They pumped out an amazing number of in person and mobile orders. Kudos! Easy entrance and exit from the hotel area. Plenty of pumps for gas and well lit. The location appears clean. We were staying nearby and needed to fill up before heading back home. Was able to get in and out easily. Love that this is accessible from the hotel roadway. The start of our vacation and we were hungry after a long road trip; we decided to get dinner here since it's next to our hotel. A standard and clean WAWA. We ordered at the kiosk, paid, and waited about 5 minutes. I'm a huge fan of WAWAs and was excited to break my keto diet with a delicious hoagie. When the sandwich was ready, we repeated our order to the sandwich guy to confirm it was ours and he said yes. I ordered a chicken salad hoagie; my usual, with cheese, bacon, & sweet peppers on a wheat roll. Well, once I got back to the hotel and bit into my CHICKEN salad, it was fishy, well because it was TUNA salad. I even took a picture of my order on the kiosks beforehand just for fun. I didn't order tuna. I was very disappointed since I was expecting chicken not tuna. He's lucky I don't mind tuna; what if I was allergic to fish? Love this store, responsive and quick good service. The staff is friendly except for this lady, I think her name is Kiesha. For some reason, she doesn't smile and seems to be always angry. She doesn't even greet the customers which is kinda odd considering most of them are friendly. She seems not so happy at work, and very unprofessional as I witnessed how loudly she was scolding and embarrassing her co-worker in front of the customers. For me, that is not acceptable. I wanted to intervene, but I just decided to leave because I was completely appalled by her behavior. I hope that kind of hostile working environment that she creates is not being tolerated by the management. I think she shouldn't be working at customer service industry like Wawa where she's causing the customers feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed with her attitude. I came to Wawa my first morning in Orlando (it's conveniently located next to the hotel I stayed at) and had a mixture of the Columbian and Ethiopia coffees; the beans were exotic and bold flavors stood out and reminded me of pour overs I've tried at chic Echo Park coffee shops--only at a fraction of the price; $1.79 for a twenty-four oz cop--what a deal! Though I didn't try any of the food, everything behind the prep station looked and smelled mouth-watering (Mac and Cheese, Breakfast sandwiches, subs). You can never go wrong with Wawa honestly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. It can get very busy here so be careful when trying to find a gas pump. 15 years ago, I would stop in the Wawa's in Toms River NJ at least 10-15 times a week for their great hoagies, soups, and gas. Best 'fast food" by far. It had been 7 years since I had visited one, so it was with great disappointment that I tried this Wawa in Orlando, across from Disney Springs. As it was the closest spot next to our resort condo and a very convenient location. I was psyched! Psyched until I tried the food. I guess overexpansion and the bottom line has replaced quality and customer service. Our group of six people sampled nearly everything on the menu on our three visits to the location and everything was simply awful. The great hoagies, soups, and sides now tasted like school cafeteria food or how I would imagine prison food tastes like. All three times one-third to one-half of our order was missing. We had to go back all three times to complain and get our missing food items. Not once did anyone apologize, say sorry or even care. The staff was rude, careless, and clueless. This once iconic convenience stop has more than lost its luster, the food positively stinks. This is my favorite gas station in Florida. They have options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There is beer, pop, smoothies, and shakes!
