The smell persisted during our meal and I did not bring it up to the server because I thought maybe it was just my imagination because I couldn't figure it out. Turns out, as we were leaving, I noticed that first watch shares a building/wall with a nail salon. What I was smelling was the acrylic (MMA) from the salon, seeping into the restaurant. The BEER: 1845 Shape Shifring Lizard IPA 6.3% ABV... OMG, this IPA is slightly juicy and well balanced. 1845 We Wants the Red Head red ale 5% ABV... this red ale is an all day Irish Red. Delicious. 1845 Drop the Puck imperial hazy IPA 9.8% ABV... so very good, juicy and sneaky, because 2 or 3 of these and you will be Ubering home. 1845 Secret Stash imperial Stout 10% ABV... like coffee, semi sweet dark chocolate and a hint of peanut butter.
