Unfortunately because we came by so late my brain was so tired I didn't think to get pictures while here. This was both my husband and my first visit to a Waffle House but we had heard stories for decades online and just knew we had to see what all the fuss was about. My husband was pleased with his order, the All Star special. He said it was pretty standard for a breakfast meal from a franchise, but the fact he'd barely eaten all day made it taste that much better. Waffle House being open 24/7 was the big draw because it allowed us to not be forced to go to bed hungry. As far as cleanliness and service, we had come in expecting the worst based on what the internet says but it those issues weren't present here. Staff were friendly and while I wouldn't exactly eat off the floor it was clean. If you like Waffle House or are wanting a good first experience, this location is a great spot. read more

I placed an online order for a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich before checking out of our hotel next door. I ordered it about 30 minutes ahead of time to give them plenty of time to prepare it while I finished packing. When I got there, the line was out the door. There was one line to place to-go orders and another line to pay, so I was honestly confused about where to go to pick up my online order that had already been paid for. My pickup time was 11:30, and by then it was already 11:35. The people in front of me were kind enough to let me walk past them so I could ask an employee where I should go, but I was just told to get in line. The frustrating part was that my order was the only one sitting on the pickup shelf the entire time. I waited over 10 minutes just to get to the front of the line, and the employee simply grabbed the bag that had been sitting right next to her the whole time. As you can imagine, the sandwiches were cold by then. Maybe during busy times they could also use the "Pay Here" line for online pickups if the ordering line gets too backed up. It would make the pickup process a lot smoother and actually serve the purpose of ordering ahead. As for the atmosphere, it definitely had that classic Waffle House vibe; busy, loud, and full of people. It seemed like they were dealing with a rush, which may have contributed to the confusion, but a more organized pickup process would still go a long way. We'll probably give another Waffle House location a try next time and finally order the waffles. Hopefully the dine-in experience is a little smoother! read more

Came early and snagged two spots at the bar. This place is like a well oiled machine. Everyone has their role and spot. Makes for a seamless breakfast experience. The staff were great, and you can tell they get along and enjoy working together. Our meals were prepared perfectly. My grits had a few clumps, but it still was tasty. Who doesn't like Waffle House?? Is it fancy? No but we all know that. Yet it's still good, Honestly it's been months since I've gone but I enjoyed this food so much. It's always a treat to me when I'm in a southern state and I get to eat at a Waffle House. Personally I enjoy it. I know that there are many people who talk negatively about this chain but I seem to always have some pretty good experiences at these places from Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and now Florida. The customer service here is horrible ! I wouldn't recommend this location . The lady repeated my order to me, just to not give me what I asked and paid for it . My receipt didn't have my order on it so I brought it up to her and red my ticket number ...hoping that'll read my full order . She said she doesn't see orange juice on my recipe ...so either way I would have to pay . Paying wasn't the issue but her re-reading my order and me paying for it ...just for me to not receive it was the issue . I just feel as if a mistake like this couldve been resolved better . Establishment is busy and small there is a new Waffle House built right next to the existing one. It's not currently opened but is getting very close. Hopefully this will take the over flow from the existing @wafflehouse and allow another 24 hr eating restaurant. read more

The problem with the Highway 27/Interstate 4 area is that there are more people than the businesses in the area can handle. This means that First Watch, Cracker Barrel, and Bob Evans are always lined out the door on a weekend or holiday morning. So, the other day I decided to take my son somewhere different, Waffle House. I was a bit worried that it too would be lined out the door as well and it was busy, but not outlandishly so. I parked and got him out of the car. As I approached the door a staff member opened the door and said 2? I said yes and he said "Great, I saw you guys coming. I have a spot right over there." When I asked if it I could get a high chair he replied that he already had one waiting. Wow! That's my kind of service. We sat down and a friendly server promptly took our order. She offered my son plastic silverware which made him so happy because he felt like a big boy to have his own, but it was safe and not so loud when he decided it would be fun to bang on the table. Our food was brought out quickly. Everything was fresh and hot. My son especially loved the grits. I like the sausage here and the way they melt the butter on the toast I wish the waffle were a bit crispier, but overall the food was delicious. Throughout the meal our server checked on us and others came over to say hello to my son. I figured since we had a party of 5 then we had to wait. So we waited and waited and waited. Know it's 9:45 finally we were seated. While we waited we decided to look at the menu so we could order right away. As we were going to order our servers says " wait until I take the order because they was waiting before y'all ". WHAT we waited 45 min and they just got here. Know I'm really pissed off but since we waited, didn't want my family to wait longer if I decided to leave. They order and I didn't. We attempted to go in and find a table. We ASKED someone if the EMPTY table was open. He said yes, you can sit wherever you want. We sat. And then we're proceeded to be kicked out of the table with the server stating "you just took this table, you can't just sit wherever you want. There's a wait". We were a little hesitant when we pulled into the parking lot, it looked a little rough but inside everyone was friendly and it was clean. Our server was very nice and took our order quickly and our food came even quicker. They were busy but had plenty of help so no one was left waiting. Only complaint I have was the ridiculously cold temperate. I like it cold but it was borderline unbearable and as another review stated, the bathroom was even colder. Horrible experience at this Waffle House. We waited to be seated and they sat the family that came after us instead. We waited for the next table to open up but it was a table for two and we were three. A table that would fit us opened up right after and we asked if we can sit there instead. The hostess went to clean the table and we got up to move when the waiter said we had to wait. So, we moved away and waited, and the waiter kept mumbling angrily that we had to wait. The hostess cleared the table but the waiter repeated to her we had to wait and the waiter went to take the order of the family that came after us instead of letting us sit down. This waiter had it out for us before even sitting to eat. At that moment I decided to leave to cracker barrel we're the complete opposite experience happened.
