Wawa has expanded throughout Florida and the Sunshine State is definitely the better for it. What is not to love about Wawa? They are beyond a mere gas station, they are an oasis upon the highways and byways of America, a welcome respite to not only fill your gas tank, but your hungry stomach, as well. I grew up in the northeast, New Jersey to be exact, and have long been familiar with Wawa's great sandwiches. They are fresh made 24/7 and honestly elevate the expectation of food that should be available in a gas station. I am sure Wawa shall continue to grow throughout Florida and hopefully the southeast and I am sure that each location will find success. If you have not tried Wawa, you owe it to yourself to do so. What's really great about this location is how quickly they get stuff done. Like super fast. I stopped here after a work meeting, eager to get on my drive from Orlando back to Fort Lauderdale, when I needed a quick bite for the drive home. I ordered my meal and then, per usual, headed to the check out to pay before having to pick up said meal. You guys, the line was like 15 people deep. Good Lord this is going to take forever. And, lovely, one poor soul is working the register. I don't know what happened next, but something magical occured and this girl buzzed through the line like nothing I'd ever seen before. Within less than 3 minutes I'd say the entire line was down and it was my turn. I felt like with one eye blink I was next. I graciously paid for my meal and in perfect timing was about to pick up my sandwich and be on my way. I don't know if this is the norm here, but I certainly enjoyed it. Wawa can do no wrong (or so it would seem)! I found this location after having my headlight replaced and getting some Mexican food at Beto's. I saw months ago on Twitter that Wawa had opened stores in the Orlando/Kissimmee area and I was thrilled, as I had used the last of my Iced Tea after my trip to Philly in July. I was glad to find a store on South OBT instead of travelling down to route 192. The layout is a bit different than what I expected with registers over to the side and hoagies and wraps being made in the centre of the store where I'd normally see the cash registers. I might have to get a hoagie since it's tough to find the real thing outside Philly, especially with good bread. I'm thinking I should move back to Florida now. read more

I cam here to WaWa for the first time tonight and I was amazed, the selection is good and the place is clean and has a lot of stuff, you can get coffee here made fresh and the choice are plenty(decaf,regular) just to name a few and then they have a machine to add vanilla flavor. The taste of the coffee with a bit of sugar was so good and knowing it was decaf and I would be able to sleep tonight made it even better. The people that worked there were OK only one girl was friendly the rest seem to be annoyed by so many people in there and them having to make so many subs and being busy so for that I took one less star as my rating but other then that they have all of what 7-11 has with there own brand but also they make subs there and have fresh pastry's. This particular store is not very big but it is a decent size and the only confusing part is that the check out/cashier is at the very end of the store in a corner to the left . The subs and drinks can be order in a machine you enter all the info your self and then they call out your number or you can make the coffee your self. They also have a walk in cooler and they have all the beer inside including 12 packs and more. Very cool place and very futuristic. I can not wait till one opens closer to were I live, I think it will give 7-11 a hard time. read more

Based on my brief visit and interaction with this facility- by pumping my first tank full Ah WAWA, I must admit to being impressed. Impressed by how neat n' tidy the facility is in the fueling area, the machines and the overall appearance. I'll be back - not sure if I'll go as far as using the $2 off gas receipt coupon for ordering food - but maybe "dip another toe in" by at the least getting gas and using their restroom perhaps?? I'm a fan. I have a hard time giving a gas service station/store more than three stars but Wawa is about as good as it gets. Gas is slightly below market price and the store is clean with great employees. Made to sandwiches are super cheap. They won't win any awards, but they are far about the sandwiches you get at similar locations. Great value and good, fresh ingredients. My favorite part of Wawa is free air! I hated it when years ago, many stations switched from free air to charging upwards of $1. Seems greedy to me. Wawa not only offers it free, it also has an automatic air pressure check attached so you don't over inflate. I'm glad Wawa is opening up more locations in Central Florida. I shall return. read more

Can't beat WaWa! The gas is cheap and the food is good! The store is very clean and the staff is friendly. The food is cooked to order and we've heard that they use Amarosso Rolls (a northern bread company) for there sandwiches. For quick food cooked to order you can't beat it. read more

This WAWA locations was very packed . It is to off of OBT. I stopped by in the morning to grab a cup of Coffee and a break fast burrito and gas. be fore my flight back to Atlanta.The set up of this location is a little different. As you walk in the drinks and sodas are on your right side of the store and the coffee and made to order stuff is on your right. The Stations and restroom were very clean. The hoagie or hot food preparers were a little slow. I was quite surprised that the lady called my number and stand there for another five mins while she makes my burrito. Other than that coffee is a bargain 1 dollar for any size and despite the odd prep lady the burrito was not bad. Now that is what I am talking about. So happy that Wawa has opened up shop in Central Florida. I grew up within walking distance to Wawa. I frequented their candy aisles, dined on their hoagies, sipped their hot cocoa, and chowed down on their ice cream for years. Then, they were gone. Pulled all of their business out of CT. Fast forward to now. Wawa is a breath of fresh air for those looking for a better Convenience Store / Gas station option. For too many years in Florida we have been tormented with sub par options like The Sev or C K. Not anymore. Unlike The Sev or C K which usually has only 2 rude unhelpful employees "working" at a time, Wawa has a freakin platoon of smiling faces ready to assist you. (6/20/2017) Pretty convenient and well-stocked. Have run into this Wawa for gas, milk, wine, lunch. Love the touchscreen for the made-to-order (MTO) sandwiches, easy, and almost foolproof. Sandwiches have been accurate and made lightning fast. Take it easy with the condiments, though. The hoagie rolls are good and chewy, but also, high rate of structural slippage if you like lots of condiments and lots of fixings. The rate-limiting step is that you have to walk over to another counter to pay. The system would be infinitely better if you could just swipe your card at the same terminal where you order your sandwich (like at the gas pumps). The cash registers are tucked into a corner, severely limiting pedestrian flow. This particular location off the OBT seems to get a high volume of loiterers and panhandlers, can't get in or out without getting accosted a few times. Otherwise, everything seems to run pretty smoothly. NOTE: for some reason, jam-packed on Friday afternoons, don't even try to get in the parking lot. read more

Restrooms are always closed for cleaning during the busy high traffic customer times. I've been here 35 minutes today and the men's restroom has been closed for cleaning. Restrooms should be cleaned at 5 am and then this store does not have enough cashiers between 2:45 and 3:30 pm. Always a long line to check out. I have shopped here several times and never had I had any problems until now... I stopped quickly for some gas only enough to get me passed a few days bc I was in a hurry. I paid at the pump only 10.01$(7/18/14) thought it was all normal until I checked my account and had an extra 75$ charged, I called the store to let them know and see what could be done they said it would clear by Monday it's Tuesday and instead of clearing and it returning my money it completed payment and I am left with $75 less!! NEVER AGAIN, called again today, Tuesday and they said they could do nothing. W.T.H. So much for customer service!!! read more
