I ordered ahead on the Wawa app for in-store pickup. I was around the corner and not far away from Wawa when I placed the order. We ordered a Tunafish Salad and a Chicken Corn Chowder soup. Wawa wasn't too busy so I was able to park in front of the building. I entered and went to the mobile pick up area. The food was being bagged and secured as I approached. I was expecting to wait since I had arrived before the pick up time. I was pleased to see my order was almost ready to go. I did have to ask for another bag to separate the hot and cold items. The employee understood and did not hesitate to provide an extra bag. She made sure I had enough utensils and napkins as well. The food was delicious. Hi your employee Danny extremely nice the first time that I came in and bought three things of beverages he was fast and immediate to made sure that I was checked out. I went back in to get some chips and I had gotten the wrong ones we can get with cheddar but it was horseradish and cheddar. absolutely every time I come into the store right here on Curry Ford. I'm always greeted with such kind and such respectful employees. One in particular is named Terry... I see her at more than I'm at work. She is always effortlessly and unselfishly taking care of people and treating them with the upmost respect that you could ever be given. Not only is she kind but she's always sweet so early in the morning and I have to give a big shout out to her and all the guys that make our sizzle's and my delicious iced espresso in the morning. In a world that we live in now it's very seldom. Do you find great people that work hard and enjoy their job. Wawa has grown considerably throughout the state of Florida and for those of us from either Pennsylvania and New Jersey, this is great news (and a bit of nostalgia). Wawa is a gas station, but it is much, much more. Wawa is an experience, a place where you can not only get gas for your car, but you can head inside 24/7 for one of their subs freshly made for you. They also have a variety of other foods, everything from the usual gas station convenience store offerings like potato chips to their soft pretzels to options for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Wawa is a great addition to Florida. I remember when they first came to Orlando, now I see them spreading through the Sunshine State. This gas station is my go to when I want something quick and cheap! Especially when I need gas. Unfortunately the only safest time to go here is during the afternoons and at times morning. During evens it gets bad. Lots of suspicious people unfortunately and many drugged up or drunk individuals. This place used to be great but with the pandemic hitting it the location got bad. The inside of this place is clean and safe however and they do great service their customers but during the later times it feels unsafe. So I stopped by Wawa to get lunch today around 12:30pm on May 31,2024. I got this sub shown in my photos and while I was eating the first half of the sub didn't find anything out of the ordinary. However while eating the second half I took a bite then I felt this string like feeling in my mouth and on my lips an pull the thing that was there and found it to be a long black hair. That is disgusting, the workers need to be wearing hair nets at all time when they are working with beverages and food. This was your typical Wawa store. FANTABULOUS!!! They were running a special on coffee during my visit, $1.00 any size. BOO-YAH! As all other locations, very clean and doing a brisk business. This Wawa is pretty convenient to me and typically offers very competitive gas prices (out of the 3 that share the intersection). The food options are the same as any other Wawa, although the service can sometimes be somewhat leisurely. The grab and go items aren't the most competitively priced (especially compared to places like Publix), but the hoagies and bowls are pretty great. This is not just the best place for gas; it's a great place for road trip stops, quick sandwiches and bowls, and good coffee. Wawa makes me think of a marketplace where you find different options that cater to some of your basic needs. Oh, and gas too! I was so happy to have Wawa open so close to my work. Like all Wawa's it is clean and efficient and everything you could hope for in a gas station. My first visit was on Thursday. I stopped by for free air for my tires. I was happy to learn that to promote the new store they were giving away free coffee. Yay! And they already have pumpkin spice coffee. Yay! I was so happy. I ordered a breakfast burrito from the kiosk, paid at the register, and was happy to hear them call my number as soon as I walked back to the food area. FAST SERVICE. Of course a bit later I arrived at work and unwrapped my breakfast only to discover what looked like a foot-long breakfast sub. Not a burrito. (And in my defense I have never had breakfast here before, so the whole time I was just thinking, "Holy cow, this must be a chipotle-sized burrito!") Anyway, after laughs at the very wrong order I split up the sandwich with my co-workers (it was that big). It was very tasty, but not the burrito I was craving. So, I got to go back to Wawa this morning. Armed with the cute photo of the wrong order I posted on Yelp, I explained what had happened to the nice girl handing out breakfast sandwich samples, and she got me the burrito of my dreams free of charge this morning. Wawa is all good in my opinion. Great chicken salad subs and cheap Peanut Chews. The gas prices are always competitive. The chicken corn chowder is always awesome. Most locations have free air for your tires too. I wish the order machines had more options for on-the-side items, but you can talk directly to the people who make the sandwiches. I went to this Wawa on Goldenrod and Curryford Yesterday Monday 13th. I ordered my mom a turkey bowl. I gave it to her while I went to pick a few things up at grocery store next door. I asked how was bowl. She said didn't have meat. I went back talk to the Agent who made the bowl and told him there's no turkey in bowl. He said I had to pay extra for that. And skinny guy Supervisor was next to him who also acknowledged that. Well it was a lie. And for them to make me look like an ass is not cool. I order an entree from the kiosk, proceed to pay, wait 10 minutes which isn't a big deal. They call my number only to inform me after I've been waiting that they are out of what I wanted. Irritating. After informing me, the staff member expects me to know what I want in place of the original order right off the top of my head but I don't so I proceed to the kiosk and find a different selection then I go back to the counter to tell the her but she's busy pacing around and not acknowledging me then she proceeds to take her break. I'm left to explain the situation to another cook in the back and then tell him what I want. With an attitude, he tells me to place my order again on the kiosk. So irritating.
