I've had multiple bad experiences at Wawa, and at this point I no longer feel safe using my card there. In the past, I had two separate bank cards compromised after using them for gas at Wawa, and both of my banks had to shut my cards down and issue replacements. That alone raised serious concerns. Recently, things have gotten worse with how they handle payments at the pump. Since they now require prepay, attendants take your card and walk away with it, which is already uncomfortable. During the winter, one employee took my card and didn't return it. When I asked for it, he claimed he already gave it back--but it was actually in his pocket. When I questioned why my card was in his pocket, all he could say was "sorry." Management said they would handle it, but clearly nothing has changed. Today was the final straw. I asked for $25 in gas, which I do almost every day. The attendant charged my card $30 instead. The pump stopped at $24.31, but my bank account shows a full $30 charge. When I questioned it, the attendant dismissed me and said I was "done." I had to go inside to speak with a manager, who told me I would have to wait and come back if the difference isn't refunded. This is unacceptable. Customers should not have to worry about: * Employees mishandling or pocketing their cards * Being overcharged without explanation * Being treated rudely when asking legitimate questions * Having to chase down their own money after being overcharged Between the card security issues and the lack of accountability from staff and management, I do not trust this location. I strongly advise others to be cautious when using their cards here. Wawa needs to seriously address how transactions are handled at the pump and properly train their employees before more customers are affected. read more

Just like any other Wawa , the coffee here is fresh and tastes good . There was a queue in sandwich shop. I was able to order salad and it was ok . Salad was fresh and veggies , but tasted ok . Wawa is brilliant. That ought to be all this review says, but I think you may need a bit more convincing. Sure, most people may only stop here for gas and maybe a drink, but there is so much more to Wawa than fuel. First thing's first. On the right side is the deli. It's really a deli/sandwich shop/awesome place to be. Be sure to order first before exploring the rest of the store, since everything is made to order (and the sandwiches are seriously customizable) and sometimes the clerks can get a little backed up with orders. Whatever you order, be sure to get a side of Mac & Cheese to go with it. You wont regret it. While that's being made, the rest of that side is taken up by some coffee. Instead head over to the left. Loads of beverages, and lots of snacks and candies, cookies, chips etc. on the left. When you're on this side, pick up a couple half-gallons of the Wawa Lemonade Iced Tea. I have ruined peoples' lives with how good this Iced Tea is. They spend the rest of their days craving it, and no amount of "almost as good" Turkey Hill Iced Tea can sate their thirst. read more

This is an okay convienience store located on Route-18 in Old Bridge. They have a good selection of baked goods, which is what I was in the mood for. I also looked at frinks. And, the drink selection is pretty much the same as other Wawas.Sodas, and juices, and iced tea. They had a good selection of baked goods, and the staff is friendly. However, one of the staff members was clearing out the baked goods tray, and throwing them out in the garbage. Maybe they were old. I actually quickly got a muffin, before the worker came back, and it tasted fine. Not sure exactly what the worker was doing with clearing out the trays. read more

This wawa really lacks customer service. The sign said 2 for $2.00 for tasty cakes for certain items. They only had one of what I wanted and several other tasty cakes for the same price of $1.89. I asked since they are both $1.89 can they substitute and she said no. I then asked since they only have 1 of what I wanted can they charge me $1.00 for 1 and she said no. If I can give 0 stars I would. This place is HORRIABLE for food orders. They will find a way to mess up a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwhich. Out of the last 10 times going there for food, my orders have been wrong 9 out of the 10 times. And tonight so now add 1 more onto it. It seems as if making a sandwhich is hard meanwhile its listed on a computer screen right in front of them listing all the ingredients. Some of the employees there are cool though. Has anyone had their credit card for gas charged fraudulently at Wawa Old Bridge? How does this happen?

Well - they have mocha mint! And great service and are in an easy off on route 18 location. Seriously - the perfect wawa? Typical wawa variety of food. Today we had iced coffee, a fountain drink, yogurt smoothie, and sandwiches. Sandwiches were made with care and not slapped together. Smoothies were amazing. My kids actually used the words amazing. I didn't opt for he .99 cent add ins - but went with whipped cream on top of a yogurt peach and mango smoothie. The double meat was on point today - sometimes they don't double. My husband had a double with Italian meats and pepperoni. He said it was perfect. I had a turkey shorti with lettuce, tomato, and buffalo sauce. Yes buffalo sauce. Buffalo makes anything better (ok I might be biased) - but it made this sandwich awesome!! Stop was clean and organized. They had the newer fountain dispenser that holds tons of options. Wawa is a privately owned company and it shows. All the employees are smiling and happy. They even remember my late night food order without me even telling them! Bathrooms are public and are always clean. It's a nice stop before u make the ride to the beach. Wawa has everything so make sure u stop here soon! read more

I LOVE all WAWAs. I never have an issue. This store is great. Friendly staff and orders are always correct at the counter. I love that there are clean bathrooms available. They now have a full lotto machine where I can pick out scratch offs or get the weekly lottery tickets. read more

You know, I don't find myself having to go to Wawa very often, but when I do I am often reminded about why they are the best at this sort of convenience store thing. For one, they are always efficient. Whether you are filling up on gas, ordering a sandwich or just trying to check out, everything moves at a very nice clip. And that's a good thing because rarely have I gone into a Wawa that isn't bustling like Grand Central Station. They also have a great selection of stuff in general. Being larger than a 7-11 and not as antiquated as say, a Krauszers, they manage to stock just about everything you could possible need in a pinch. And although I would never recommend anyone to eat at Wawa, if you must, your likelihood of having a both a passable meal and survivable encounter are very high. Definitely a fan of Wawa. read more

This is not for the store but for their big shots in Pa. You CANNOT advertise fuel fairly when the price of gas is cheaper WITH a credit card only a mile or two away. Take your heads out of your asses and go visit your stores before you ruin a great store chain. PS in Jersey most people like the meat on their sandwiches sliced a little less than an inch thick and not sliced 4 hours before serving.
