This McDonald's is completely unprofessional and a joke, don't waste your time going here. There is almost always something wrong with your order. The workers don't take their time to make sure everything is correct, you will have to double and triple check your order every time you visit here, so be prepared. I explicitly told them all of the THREE items I wanted, they even asked again to confirm and still messed the order up. The workers will ask you 3 times if you want what you explicitly asked for and will still get it wrong. As you can see in the photo I provided, this is how they handed me an item I didn't order, that is exactly how it came out of the drive-thru. No wrapper, just throw in a container. Also, the fries are rarely fresh you have to explicitly tell them to give you fresh fries. The sides like apple pies usually come burnt. Last time ordering from this Mcdonald's it's by far one of the worst I've ever visited. Do not waste your time. read more

McDonald's - Supposed to be a Sausage Egg & Cheese McGriddle. This is how they gave me the wrong item, no wrapper just thrown in the container. - Burgers Near Me - East Brunswick, New Jersey

I don't eat McDonald's really ever, but when I have utilized this location, everything was pretty decent. Yeah, you have to be careful of the sorta confusing entrance and exit of the lot, but you're supposed to read signs anyways. But, this 5 star review is based upon customer service alone. I had a coupon for a McCafe item (B1G1 free). I wasn't aware that it wasn't for this location until I went to give them the coupon.. when I asked if they could void out the order, she said she would honor and give me the free item. She definitely didn't have to, but it was greatly appreciated. Little things mean the most to me, hence 5 stars. read more

Stopped by. Parking looked more difficult but around the corner lots. Nice inside. Had to order twice fish fillet cooked from scratch as they simply try to pre-heat. When served delicious. read more

Get the quarter pounder* or the double quarter pounder* "if you have to have Mac Donald's at this location" as you cannot mess that up. *These are the only items in the menu that are made fresh at any Mac Donald's. On the other hand, DO NOT ask for the chicken nuggets or fries, especially dinner time around 7:30PM. You will get nuggets that look like they were microwaved for about 20 minutes. Dry, dehydrated and bad. Same with fries. HARD on the outside, cold in the inside. As I said before, you'll alright if you order a quarter or a double quarter pounder. Thank me later. read more

Yet again, HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!!! I made a mistake of going to order a HOT caramel latte, but instead was given a COLD caramel latte. BUT that was not all, after rejecting the cold drink and being given the corrected hot drink..it was given with curdled milk!! TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!! What does it take to get management to actually make sure that this place is running properly?? Someone needs to inform them to read their reviews and pay attention to how train their employees. read more

I haven't had McDonald's in a while but this Travis Scott meal was on point. Additionally, the staff at this location were very friendly and efficient even tho they were a bit busy with the release of this new meal. If you're gonna go to McDonald's, this isn't a bad one to go to. read more

Ugh this place is so frustrating. The last two times I've gone (once for a Shamrock shake, once for frappe) after waiting in line for a few minutes I'm told that their machine is down. How is that possible? Have gone at least a few weeks apart and I'll give you it's was the evening both times but come on. If you go to the southbound McDonald's you will pay more $ read more

Honestly I don't know why I keep giving this location a chance to change my mind .. maybe because it's the closest to where I live ... location is key I guess, right? the food is always dry with absolutely no flavor ...I do admit I must give them 1 star for the staff- they're always friendly and the other star is for consistently making bad food. They need to work on the quality. They recently renovated this location so appearance isn't the issue. read more

F this place and the other one in East Brunswick. These McDonald's just can't get the orders right. I stopped going because I got tired of my order messed up. One time I was irate and went back to complain and found that the management and staff hardly spoke English! Good grief. For being over 60 some years old, McDonald's still hasn't perfected the art of getting an order right. read more

Really this review isn't about this particular McDonald's but McDonald's as a whole. However, the one thing I can say about this location is the fries are never hot and I almost always have to take them back. My review is on the new Hack Menu. I ordered the Surf n' Turf which is a Double Cheeseburger and a Fish Filet combined. It's shown (from bottom up) as a bun, cheeseburger, fish filet, cheeseburger and topped with a bun. Not sure which condiments go on it but that's the basics. What I got was a Double Cheeseburger and a Fish Filet separate and apart. I then had to assemble the sandwich myself which was quite messy since your dealing with ketchup, onions, pickles and tarter sauce. Your also wasting an entire bun. Not sure how it's supposed to be served but if you show it as a complete sandwich, per-assembled in your ads and on the menu-board then it should be served that way. I'm sure the people who originated the hack may have assembled it themselves but now that it's on the menu it should come assembled. Other than sandwich assembly the meal was good and all the condiments melded together nicely. Lastly, it may be McDonald's policy or vision to serve this item pre-assembled but this McDonald's isn't following protocol. I won't be sure until I order it elsewhere. read more

11/21/21 Waited 20 mins in mobile parking for a simple order - burger and fries. Got in drive thru line and waited another 10 mins to get to 2nd window. Called 3x's while in line and no one picks up. Tried talking to girl at the 2nd window but doesn't speak any English other than saying "I don't speak English". The manager walks up and says they gave me my order already!!! They certainly did not give it to me and no one parked next to me in other mobile spot. They finally hand me my food - no apology, no comp, no nothing! 30 mins for a $3 order and I had to fight for it. Avoid this location! read more

Still counting down the days until my son no longer wants to eat McDonald's chicken nuggets. As I've said in my other Mickey D reviews, the McDonald's of today is nothing like the McDonald's I remember as a kid. While I don't doubt that the food quality is, and always has been, atrocious and unhealthy, there was a time when you would at least enjoy the junk you were eating. Not anymore. Now it's just as unsatisfying as it is unhealthy. No wonder their sales are tanking as fresher and better quality fast food options emerge. This McDonald's location is the same one I used to go to as a little boy. It was a rarity among McDonald's in that it didn't have a drive thru. Because it sits on a fairly small parcel of land, the original location chose to maximize its interior space. It was here that I attended many birthday parties in the private party room, which was adjacent to one of the best indoor playgrounds McDonald's ever had. The playground was fully glassed in so that parents eating in the main dining room could still see their kids playing, but didn't have to be on top of them the whole time. And it was a real playground, with real playground rides -- not these ridiculous three-story habitrails that kids get lost in and have to be rescued from. I can also remember this location always being packed with happy families enjoying hot burgers and fries. Those days are long gone, as is the private party room and indoor playground. The current location now has the requisite drive thru, which is where the staff focus all their effort. God forbid you find yourself at this location wanting to dine in. There is never more than one register open, and the line moves at a snail's pace. It's so slow that you get a number and have to go sit down and wait for it to be called. Don't be fooled into thinking they're using this extra time to cook your meal to order. Ha! It just takes them forever to assemble anything here. Slow service, crappy food, dirty tables (one booth's upholstery was literally slashed wide open from a knife cut), and lots of unhappy-looking souls sitting about. Why so many people still choose to patronize this chain is beyond me. (That includes me.) I'm not a guy who's too good to eat fast food from time to time. I can still enjoy the occasional slider at White Castle, a MexiMelt at Taco Bell, or a Croissan'wich at Burger King. But McDonald's just blows. Sorry to be so blunt, but there's no other way to put it. Hopefully corporate reads these reviews so they know how badly they've squandered a once dominant brand. read more

I ordered from this location via Door Dash. They screwed up our entire order. They gave me cheeseburgers instead of McDoubles (in McDouble wrappers) and 1 burger had 2 bun bottoms. I wish they had a 0 star option. This McDonalds is the worst I've ever been to. We've given them multiple shots, so it wasn't like it was just one bad experience. The worst was when we ordered two Apple pies and two plain Sunday's (that is ALL!) and waited 15 minutes before finally asking about it only to find out that they forgot our order. Seriously? The only thing simpler would be a glass of water! Then, she tried to give us Sunday's with melted ice cream. When we asked for fresh ones, she only filled them half way. Craziest part of this story? That's the cliff's notes. They were rude and incompetent. I'm shocked they are still in business. read more

This could be the worst McDonalds I've ever been to in my life. It's a shame because it's walking distance from my home. The 2 lane drive through is the worst idea they ever had. Don't EVER use the inner one. You will die of starvation before getting your food. At least in the outside you can drive away when you get fed up. It routinely takes 20 minutes from entering the lot to receiving the food. read more

I will not come back again. I don't drive so my brother and who work at a supermarket has a bad day and thought we'd treat ourselves to McDs and took an Uber. We live down the street so we went inside to order. This is Sat. April 18. There was one man in there and another woman standing off,to,the side. Right away we were getting yelled at to,back, off. 6 ft. The woman I guess a supervisor was waving her hands hysterically telling us "you..stand over there, you move over more etc.," I felt like I was back in Grammar school (stand straight. Eyes front) they has a glass partition, but still 6 ft and has to yell our orders., the gentlemen asked if he can come forward to pay. Everyone has a mask on, and cashier has gloves as well as I. We had to put our money on counter and step away. We were wearing gloves!! I was stressed at work and come here and got more stressed. My brother said he will not come back. They even had a sign that said " it is the law to wear mask AND GLOVES. THE LAW SAID NOTHING ABOUT GLOVES!! FIVE GUYS on 18, East Brunswick. You have to wear a mask, but their was no harassment. And even Sams Club you can go up to pharmacy, they have a shield up, but no harassment, just wear your mask. Reading other reviews. Its true, there is always one thing they forgot or got wrong. I would not have given even 1 star. The crew is very rude after making you wait for 25-30 minutes to take your order!

these have to be the dumbest people in East Brunswick, NJ. They get the order wrong 8 out of 10 times. I have a SEVERE dairy allergy and cannot have cheese. I ask for a hamburger and get a cheeseburger almost every time. Tonight I ordered a double hamburger no pickles and a large coke no ice. When I arrived at the window the girl handed me a bag and said to me, cheeseburger and small fries, I said no, she looked bewildered. I repeated double hamburger no pickles and large coke no ice. Next, she handed me a coke filled with ice. I don't pay for ice, so I handed it back and repeated large coke no ice again. She gave me a new coke and handed me a bag and said to me, double hamburger, no onions. REALLY? How hard is this, double hamburger, no pickles? I repeated to her AGAIN! Double hamburger no pickles. She went back again and brought the bag and I asked her if it was a double hamburger with no pickles. She said yes. I pulled around to the other side to check because they are intolerably stupid and I checked. God help me. It was a double cheeseburger with extra cheese. I went back and opened it up and dropped it on the counter in front of the manager who barely speaks English. She just stared at me and I asked are you looking at me because you just want to give me my money back and she replied fine and went to the register. She is a real problem. Read reviews on Google to and you will see, she is the problem. When I said they get it wrong every time, she said the other customers, Oh look, it's mister perfect he doesn't make mistakes. To which I replied, I make mistakes, just not the exact same one six times in a row. If McDonald's doesn't do something about this franchise I will. read more

If I could I post a negative 1 review I would. Went late night and they said cash only which I had cash only and the they told the lady our first order she then reintegrated "cash only" I said ok! A joke for dinner. They were out of large cups so I switched to a medium. I suppose they could have offered to still give me a large fry but they did not.
