Panera is that place you go to when you're in the mood for a quick and decent soup. I usually get the tomato soup which comes with a side of a baguette. Ive definitely had better tomato soup in terms of taste and creaminess but in a pinch, this place will do the trick. This location has a good amount of seating inside where students and working professionals go to do work a lot. Lots of families come as well. It's also pretty clean at this location. There aren't a lot of kiosks to order food so I was waiting for a bit to order. Price point is ok. I got a tomato soup (bowl size) and the you pick 2 option, and a drink which all came out to around $23.

Turkey BLT & Avocado & Broccoli Cheddar Soup ($13.40 with drink not pictured)

2 stars because the food is pretty good but the portions are TINY. I got the soup and sandwich combo with a drink and it was $13.40, seriously??? I really left this place feeling ripped off. Pretty much a cup size of broccoli cheddar soup and a 5-bite half of Turkey Bravo BLT & Avocado. I mean I know I can eat but it really took me no more than 5 bites to eat that "half" of sandwich with next to no turkey on it. The soup is always good but I feel like prices here go up while portions get smaller. I get the "fast casual" feel but I could literally go to any of the other places in that category and get a meal for $10. I am in no rush to return.

    Block of Mac and cheese

This food was absolute vile. In my 45 years of living have I never had Mac and cheese THIS bad. It was cold and soupy and on top of that to make it even better; there was a BIG ice block of frozen Mac and cheese to make this horrible meal even worse. The least they could've done is warm up the bread but they didn't even. I will NEVER be coming back here.

Went for a late lunch with mom. Staff are nice. The wait time was pretty reasonable and the food portions were good enough. We were not too full.

Love Panera. Don't like this location. When you're working somewhere, especially when there is food involved please make sure that the tables are always properly cleaned and maintained. I shouldn't have to walk around for 5 minutes looking for a table that has actually been cleaned off. My caesar salad also had to be taken back. It's a caesar salad, where is my CAESAR dressing? I think this specific location just needs a huge adjustment. Perhaps train the staff a little bit more and then I can boost my rating up a star OR maybe even two. Again, I love Panera but this def is not my go to location.

All-Natural Turkey Chili in Bread Bowl (1/3 chili, 2/3 bread bowl)

Located between Tilted Kilt and Ruby Tuesdays in Brunswick Square Mall. Enter from storefront or from mall interior. Order from one of three touch-screen kiosks (or wait in line to order from an employee if you must pay cash), grab a pager, enter pager number, swipe MyPanera rewards card, and wait with pager at table of your choosing. Despite being smaller than standalone Panera stores, this location seems to have better ambient lighting than others I've been to because its narrow layout and glass walls expose it to either natural light from outside or to lighting from inside the mall. I suppose this feature makes it a slightly better place to study, though it is always crowded. I waited for my order at a booth for about 5 minutes, and the friendly food runner who delivered the All-Natural Turkey Chili Bread Bowl I ordered made a second trip when he saw that my Blueberry Scone had not been delivered yet. As expected, the sourdough bread bowl tasted fresh and chewy and had the right amount of sour; the turkey chili had a slight kick and was refreshing on a cold December afternoon. $6.62 for the bread bowl was filling, probably because the bread bowl was mostly bread and only about 30% chili. The floor outside the men's room was sticky, but the men's room itself was relatively clean and well-stocked.

Parfait less than 1/2 a serving

So disappointed. I ordered curbside. After waiting a long while, I get my order and young lady apologized for the wait for which I was thankful. She hands me bag with a seal and receipt listing ordered items in the bag. I get back to work to find a missing item from the bag. Frustrated. I open the parfait I ordered and it literally has two small scoops of yogurt. Literally mixed the granola and placed spoon to show how the parfait cup is mostly empty. I'm frustrated that I paid so much money to give myself a lunch treat to 1) have a missing item and 2) get charged $5.19 for a less than 1/2 serving of the parfait. Thank you Panera for reminding me of why I stopped being a regular customer at this Cafe.

Went with a friend to the mall for girls time and we stop for some food and had a great time. Service was fast and the combo options to mix and match great for all taste buds.

Bread in stock, just not for your order.

Our server, Willem, was attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu. The menu is quite different from our last visit in 2024 - better organized and easier to read. We atarted by ordering a Caesar salad and Tagliatelle Bolognese to share at the table as an appetizer - quite nice and a good start. Charlie and I both chose the Creekstone Ribeye ( I opted for the Horseradish Creme Fraiche) and our wives both chose the Crab Crusted Halibut. all entrees came out cooked to order and piping hot. We also shared an order of creamed spinach. No dessert as we were doing that at home, but the coffee hit the spot. JS is BYOB so don't forget to bring your wine. Defintely a destination restaurant, and we will be back!

I was especially looking forward to ordering the ribeye and lit up instantly when the server listed it as one of the specials. The server shared that he would need to collect the orders for all of our courses at the same time which was fine with me. I actually had more confidence in the timing of everything for that reason. Our server had a delightful energy particularly at the beginning of our visit. After we placed our orders, everything began to fall apart. It did get noticeably busy since we first arrived, but we ultimately waited for our main entrees for over 3 hours. 3 hours. The table ordered the charred octopus and the oysters to start. The oysters hit the table fairly quickly, but then we began to gradually notice how long it was taking for the octopus to come. I had only a slither of the octopus so that I could say I tried it. Everyone at the table raved about the taste. I did, however, agree that their oysters were delicious especially when dressed with a little bit of mignonette, lemon, horseradish and a touch of Tabasco sauce. I'm excited to now report that I am a fan of fresh oysters from the east coast, because apparently the coast matters. The table also ordered the canaletto stuffed with mascarpone, parmesan and another cheese, langostines and lobster with morel mushroom cream sauce, garnished with truffles. I passed on this one also as it was too adventurous for my taste buds; although, their delicious bread and our drinks did distract me for a little while. The restaurant is BYOB, so we had our wine to keep us company while we observed other tables come and go. We eventually asked to see the manager and was told there wasn't a manager on duty which was either untrue or a very poor decision on the part of the owners considering it was a Friday evening. Having someone occasionally check in with our table may have also helped to take the pressure off of the server who may have gotten overwhelmed or decided to prioritize other tables. Having a manager offer a personal apology may have helped us feel less forgotten about. After the three hour mark, we decided this was enough. I didn't have much to eat at this point, but I wasn't at all worried initially since I was there for the main event, the ribeye. I stopped a hostess who was walking past our table and asked for the manager. We were again told the manager is not here but can be called, if needed. I simply replied, "Please do". Shortly afterwards, I noticed our server who at this time was standing by the host stand briskly walk into the kitchen and then return to our table with our plates. I sent the food back which was a decision that was supported by everyone at the table. Let me tell you, that was a difficult decision to make, but I also was ready to call it a night. Our mood had changed, and I truly felt like we were derservant of having the same experience as everyone else that night. Our server apologized for his part to play in the ordeal which I appreciated since I know his intention was never malicious, but unfortunately we had to call this night a bust. He offered us dessert on the house, and our entire meal was comped which we felt was an appropriate resolution. I ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch bread pudding which was a favorite. Very good. Jasper Stone is a beautiful establishment with decorative yellow and white floral arrangements throughout the dining area. It is clearly a popular restaurant and has many positive reviews. I regret that I could not have a comparable experience.

Let's get the elephant out of the room first…read more Ambience: Non-existent. Interior looks bare. It has a few seating. This is not a spot for a romantic date. We got takeout and were very satisfied. Food: I've had Egyptian before in NYC and I liked this much more. Here's what we ordered: Dolmas (stuffed grapeleaves). They were served hot. Never had them hot and I was surprised by how much I liked them. The stuffing was soft inside with a hint of sourness. Completely different from the typical cold pickled versions we had. I usually have 2-3 pieces but this time we ate the whole pound of it. Stuffed Cornish hen. This order takes a while, so order ahead. At first, we were not impressed by the meat. Not bad, very moist and meat fell off the bone. But, then we ate it with the stuffed rice. Rich umami. All the flavor went into the rice. Very rich flavor and together it was delicious. I would add hot sauce to the mix. Chicken kabob. All breast meat. Decent portion. It was not dry and very well spiced. My in-laws loved it. I'm not a fan of white meat but recognize that it was done well. Stuffed eggplant. Indian eggplant. Also hot version. Firm exterior, soft interior. Cuts through really well to share. Definitely like it more than the cold appetizer i've had elsewhere. More on the milder side so other dishes tasted better. Biftek (fried breaded thin steak). Fried very well. Didn't get soggy in the container so the kitchen knew to let it cool and stay crispy. Nothing bad but also not special. Many different cuisine does the same thing. Needs a dip. I would order it again and I imagine kids with a tunnel vision palate would like it too because it's like chicken nugget and french fries to them. Meat shawarma. This was disappointing. It's not bad but boring compared to all the other dishes. It's pretty much meat over rice but since I come from the city, it doesn't stack up against the lamb/chicken over rice from halal carts. It was a little dry and came with tahini (hummus based). Pretty sure this version is more authentic but I'm biased to the lamb over rice covered in white sauce. If you never had Egyptian before, it's in between Mediterranean and Middle Eastern because it is both but at the same time different enough to be its own category. There's a Greek restaurant in the same plaza and I would say the fare is completely different although their dishes overlap in the menu. They are not comparable. Verdict: We ordered more food the very next day. Until we try other restaurants in the area, this is currently my favorite Egyptian restaurant.
