    Tom Yum Noodle Soup
    Tonya O.

The best Thai food we've had a very long time! We ordered the papaya salad, beef drunken noodles, green curry with pork and the Tom Yum Noodle soup. The drunken noodles were excellent with a rich, smokey flavor. The Tom Yum Noodle soup stole the show! It was so delicious with a depth of flavors that was so vibrant it burst in your mouth that we could not stop eating it. We loved it so much at we got one to go as we live one hour away and I knew I would crave this again. We ordered all our dishes at a level 3. For my Korean palate, it was not spicy. For my French husband it was perfect - had a nice kick but not too spicy you couldn't enjoy the food. My husband ordered the mango sticky rice as a dessert. He said it was perfect - not too sweet, a little salty and creamy. I usually do not like sticky rice due to the coconut milk but I thought it tasted great too. Definitely recommend this Thai restaurant. The owner who waited on us is also so friendly and very welcoming We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area visiting my mom!

    Shrimp Roll 5 PCS

Yum! I've ordered take out here numerous times and always enjoy my meal. They are pretty quick, it took twenty minutes for our food to be ready on a Sunday night. The shrimp rolls were still crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Both noodle dishes were delicious but I did notice it was not as spicy as usual. I got the max level of spice and it did not kick my butt like usual. Maybe my tolerance went up but that's unlikely when it comes to Thai spice! Walking in to get my food, I did notice they upgraded the dining area a bit with a wind protector box by the front and different looking seating. Overall, I'll be back again for sure and I won't be forgetting to ask for extra chili flakes to go!

Crying Tiger / Suea Rong Hai

Have driven past this place a few different times and decided to try it out with all the good ratings on a random weeknight. First and foremost the staff are super friendly and the restaurant has a pretty cute and simple seating arrangement! We always get pad see ew as our go to and this was some of the best we've had in a long time! The beef was very tender and noodles were so light and fluffy! Often times other restaurants make them heavy and with too much flavor. This was just right! We also tried the crying tiger which was like a homestyle steak with a really tasty and sweet dipping sauce. We definitely wanna try Thai Food Addict again and see some of the other things on the menu. This place is definitely a hidden gem that offers a really homestyle twist on thai food. Pro tip: Get a thai iced tea! This delicious drink is so sweet that if you had little water to it as you drink it, its like a free refill

    Pad Thai / Stir-Fry Noodles

This Thai restaurant is hidden in a small strip mall in Helmetta. Although there are tables for eating in and the dining area is quite spacious, this place looks more like a takeout joint. It also looks like they operate a food truck as there was one parked outside. Hubby ordered the Tom yum soup and the lunch special basil fried rice which comes with 2 spring rolls and a small salad. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special which comes with 2 spring rolls and the small salad. The Tom yum soup looked and tasted different from others we've tried. It looked kind of bland, mostly broth with 2 (very large) shrimp. The soup base wasn't good and the shrimp wasn't fresh. The pad Thai didn't have that tamarind sour flavor. It was on the sweet side and the color is reddish. It tasted ok - just not what I was expecting for pad Thai. The noodles were buttery soft and the portion was large. We asked for medium spicy but when the waitress warned us of their spice levels, we changed it to a lower spice level. However, neither of us tasted any spiciness at all with our meal. I also ordered the hot tea. It was really good. There was a generous amount of tea leaves. The tea was very fragrant.

    Panang / Thai Panang Curry

We ordered delivery, which is free over $40 and came quickly! However, we were not really impressed by the food. Among other items, we ordered a larb that was supposed to come with a toasted rice (but it was just steamed) and vegetable tofu pad thai (that did not come with the extra vegetables despite the $3 surcharge). The regular tofu pad thai was very tomato-y rather than peanut-y. The only item we would recommend is the panang curry.

Chicken satay skewers were cooked very well and still juicy. Wasn't to big on the peanut sauce (personal preference) but it didn't really need it. Thai fried rice was very flavorful!! Truly enjoyed this dish with beef. Drunken Noodles was also very flavorful. It is more on the saucy side. But was still very good Masaman Curry with rice. I love this dish, it isn't as creamy as others but fits perfect with the rice. I took the leftovers and had it with rice the following day. Definitely recommend trying this gem out.

We tried their lunch specials: green curry tofu and drunken noodles with tofu. Now, the specials only come with a salad. The salad was refreshing, but we wished the lettuce was cut into smaller pieces. It consisted of iceberg lettuce, a cherry tomato, and a slice of cucumber. The green curry tofu was delightful, served in a bowl of delicious curry sauce with rice on the side. The long-grain rice was perfectly cooked--not mushy. The drunken noodles had a nice spice, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. We truly appreciate the vegetarian options and look forward to revisiting them when we are in the area.

The dishes were bursting with flavor and they had some Thai street food as well which I enjoyed. Service was great. Ambiance was....ok - from the outside it looks like a normal restaurant and inside they decorated it really really well. I wouldn't say fine dining but definitely a nice hole in the wall type place. We got the following: Phuket Appetizer for 2 - included 2 chicken satay (delicious), 2 curry puffs (good, but I don't like potato so meh for me), noodle salad (SO good), 2 vegetable spring rolls (decent) Sautéed noodles Phuket style- honestly didn't know what I was expecting but they definitely taste very street food style and I really enjoyed them. They're very different from the regular Thai noodles. Green curry- spicy but tolerable and tasty!! If you're not really a spice person, would not recommend. It came with white rice Thai Fried Rice - I tasted like an onion and tomato roast base in this. Typically fried rice I feel is a bit drier but here it was not saucy but there was something in there that made the rice burst with flavor. Matcha yuzu- def recommend! A nice light fizzy drink. Majority of the taste is matcha Dessert- I really wanted to try one from their vast menu but I was sooooo full from the rest of the meal. Maybe next time :)

I thought that was odd but okay. Since I've never frequented this establishment before, I always order the Drunken Tofu Noodle along with curry puffs to see how it is. It's my barometer for judging how they are as a Thai restaurant. The server mentioned their curry puffs contain chicken as an ingredient. I was fine with that. The server boasted that they make it in-house, so I was looking forward to it. After she placed it down and I took my first bite, I was expecting it to be crunchy as it's fried. I was met with it firstly, with it being room temperature. Taking my initial bite, I was disappointed with the lack of crispness. The stuffing inside was also very mushy, and it was supposed to be chicken curry puffs. I was, however, able to taste the curry powder, so that was good. The Drunken Noodle had American broccoli and baby corn in lieu of onions and carrots for vegetables. I was expecting the usual long flat noodles, but the flat noodles appeared to be broken into shorter pieces. At the time of my ordering, I had no idea it didn't come with the standard tofu because they kept asking if I wanted shrimp, chicken, or beef. I was surprised when they upcharged me an extra $2 for the fried tofu. My stomach was bothering me today, so I asked for it to be mild. It definitely took me by surprise as it was spicier than I planned for. It was extremely greasy; however, the taste of chili paste was evident, giving it a good flavor. After finishing up, the employee asked me a couple of times if I desired any dessert, to which both times, I indicated I was quite full, declined, thanked them, and requested the check. I could see the clear disappointment on their face. The ambiance is quite beautiful, and their food was tasty. Being seated at a booth allowed me to feel deliciously isolated and get some reading done.
