It has been a while since we ate here and the food just keeps on getting better. The appetizers ( fish cake, fried shrimp and fried tofu) are excellent. We ordered the green curry with chicken and the pineapple fried rice which were all fresh and flavorful. Then the dessert (ripe mango and sticky rice) completed the whole experience. The Pad Thai and Massaman Curry are our favorites, but fair warning - their spice levels are SPICY. As an Asian, I'd like to think I can handle heat but boy, the I guess I forgot how spicy their food was last time and the 3/5 spice level humbled me! Lol. The best Thai food we've had a very long time! We ordered the papaya salad, beef drunken noodles, green curry with pork and the Tom Yum Noodle soup. The drunken noodles were excellent with a rich, smokey flavor. The Tom Yum Noodle soup stole the show! It was so delicious with a depth of flavors that was so vibrant it burst in your mouth that we could not stop eating it. We loved it so much at we got one to go as we live one hour away and I knew I would crave this again. We ordered all our dishes at a level 3. For my Korean palate, it was not spicy. For my French husband it was perfect - had a nice kick but not too spicy you couldn't enjoy the food. My husband ordered the mango sticky rice as a dessert. He said it was perfect - not too sweet, a little salty and creamy. I usually do not like sticky rice due to the coconut milk but I thought it tasted great too. Yum! I've ordered take out here numerous times and always enjoy my meal. They are pretty quick, it took twenty minutes for our food to be ready on a Sunday night. The shrimp rolls were still crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Both noodle dishes were delicious but I did notice it was not as spicy as usual. I got the max level of spice and it did not kick my butt like usual. Maybe my tolerance went up but that's unlikely when it comes to Thai spice! Have driven past this place a few different times and decided to try it out with all the good ratings on a random weeknight. First and foremost the staff are super friendly and the restaurant has a pretty cute and simple seating arrangement! We always get pad see ew as our go to and this was some of the best we've had in a long time! The beef was very tender and noodles were so light and fluffy! Often times other restaurants make them heavy and with too much flavor. This was just right! We also tried the crying tiger which was like a homestyle steak with a really tasty and sweet dipping sauce. This Thai restaurant is hidden in a small strip mall in Helmetta. Although there are tables for eating in and the dining area is quite spacious, this place looks more like a takeout joint. It also looks like they operate a food truck as there was one parked outside. Hubby ordered the Tom yum soup and the lunch special basil fried rice which comes with 2 spring rolls and a small salad. I ordered the pad Thai lunch special which comes with 2 spring rolls and the small salad. The Tom yum soup looked and tasted different from others we've tried. It looked kind of bland, mostly broth with 2 (very large) shrimp. The soup base wasn't good and the shrimp wasn't fresh. The pad Thai didn't have that tamarind sour flavor. It was on the sweet side and the color is reddish. It tasted ok - just not what I was expecting for pad Thai. The noodles were buttery soft and the portion was large. We asked for medium spicy but when the waitress warned us of their spice levels, we changed it to a lower spice level. However, neither of us tasted any spiciness at all with our meal. Among other items, we ordered a larb that was supposed to come with a toasted rice (but it was just steamed) and vegetable tofu pad thai (that did not come with the extra vegetables despite the $3 surcharge). We decided to try this restaurant instead of our regular rotation. Interior is neatly decorated and with plenty of natural light. Service to start was amazing for a pick up order. Everything well packed and secured. I did have a mishap with a beverage but they went above and beyond to help and assured me they would take care of it. The food: BBQ Pork with Sticky Rice - well cooked. Not melt in your mouth, but juicy and tender with a nice plump bite and great grill flavor without fatty cuts all over. The sauce adds a hint of tamarind sweetness that isn't overwhelming. Sticky rice was standard and well cooked. Taro puffs at the time of order seemed on the expensive side. After eating, the price seems fair for the quantity of the taro filling. The pastry exterior had a texture mixed between flaky pastry and a pot pie crust and was very satisfying. Taro filling was abundant, warm and flavorful with a pleasant, non mushy texture & not too sweet. The only thing I'm disappointed in is not getting two orders. Chicken wings were a fair size, fried without a crunchy exterior. Slightly seasoned and not too salty or greasy with a nice sauce. Basil Fried Rice with chicken was very fragrant and flavorful. Not too oily and rice was not mushy. Added ingredients all had a nice proportion in each bite and nothing felt like it was a filler. Panang Curry with Chicken was perfectly flavored and seasoned. There was an abundance of chicken mixed in with the vegetables and it all had just the right coconut flavor as a whole. No surprises here; it was exactly the wonderful flavor you expect getting a panang / Thai curry. Drunken noodles (pad kee mao) with chicken was well prepared, but potentially just a hint under flavored. Chicken was plentiful and noodles were cooked just right. Regarding flavor, I prefer another restaurant, but I wouldn't knock it a whole star down from one dish that was good but just not my preference. Thai Tea and Thai Boba Tea - just the right flavor and sweetness. Absolutely love this place. My favorite Thai food in the area. They are efficient, their entrees are delicious and the staff is so amazingly kind and accommodating! I stop in here often for dinner/lunch takeout or just for a quick Thai iced tea (or both...). The thai iced tea itself is very sweet and delicious, sometimes a little bit too sweet for my liking but still flavorful and yummy. I think someone mentioned you could dilute it once halfway through and it's the perfect amount of sweet, which I am going to try next time. You also have the option to add boba to it. They have many different things on the menu and have something for everyone. Additionally, they have five different spice levels and man they are SPICY (and delish)! I wouldn't dare go past Level 3 but for those who like some heat, this is great!! The restaurant is casual and very clean. The staff is always so nice & EXTREMELY accommodating especially when we order Vegetarian dishes, without oyster, fish sauce, or eggs. Some places in the area are not even able to make certain dishes vegetarian. I love Thai Food Addict not only for their flavors, but their amazing service and staff. All food had plenty of Thai flavor, fresh vegetables, and the right amount (medium ) spicy was just perfect. Fresh peppercorn bunch was just too good in the chicken dish. The service was pleasant and lots of smiles to keep the environment calm and peaceful. Just a note that the beans could have been cooked a bit more. The rest of the vegetables, broccoli, green eggplant, red pepper yellow pepper tomatoes and onions were cooked to perfection. The gravy was flavorful and not too creamy. I also enjoyed the pad Thai, but it was light on the peanut. My usual go to is drunken noodles and I was disappointed. Went here last night for dinner and would definitely go back. Started with the butterfly shrimp, it was good although nothing spectacular. BF had the wonton soup which he really liked. Broth was good. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with chicken. Very good. Portion was huge and was easily 2 meals for me. He had the Crying Tiger, which was very good and fork tender.
