Located next to East Brunswick's newest Starbucks on Rt 18, this small Five Guys is where I go when I want my clothes to smell like they've been laundered with hot grease. I also bring my friends with nut allergies here just to see if being surrounded by open sacks of shelled peanuts will trigger anything. (I'm only kidding. Sort of.) All orders, including dine-in orders, are served in a brown paper bag, which also serve to soak up a lot of the grease. Aside from counter-height and regular-height tables, customers can also choose to dine al fresco on the patio outside. Condiments, napkins, lemon wedges, and Freestyle machines can all be found by the order pickup area. There's one single--occupancy restroom for each gender in the back. Contrary to popular misconception, Five Guys does have vegetarian options (though nothing here is truly vegan). I'm a fan of the grilled cheese and veggie sandwiches, which are made with inverted burger buns. I also like the the cajun seasoning on the fries. I'll eat the peanuts only when I'm starving. read more

Food was amazing. I ordered a burger and a hotdog and they came out really juicy and delicious. the staff is really great and friendly.

What can I say? Fresh burgers and hand cut fries. Lettuce wrapped burger is a little messy but delicious nonetheless. Fries are always good, even better when they are hand cut and made fresh. So I like stopping in here every now and then - they have good burgers and good quality meat. My son loves their milk shakes esp. the vanilla flavor. My shake tasted like nothing, thankfully they made it over. I get home to find half of the fries were raw, not under cooked, uncooked. If you frequent five guys, you probably come to expect this level of food quality and service, seems like every other order I make has some critical issue that is enough to impact the meal. read more

I was there today at lunchtime. The male manager was very friendly and thoughtful to me. However this other employee, Julia was (age-late teens, early 20s), was the opposite of being friendly. I notice when a place's floor is slippery as I work with people who get by with walkers and canes. There was a lot of ice and water on the floor in front of the soda machine. The management asked Julia if she would clean the eating area and floor after I requested, especially the floor. Just after, Julia came from the back of the restaurant, she ignored the ice and wetness on the floor, cleaned 3 tables, and then looked at her IPAD for a long while. I suggested to her, to please consider the safety of customers walking. Julia actually spoke to me verbally in a rude way, that the ice and the big water puddles /patches could remain on the floor (not even in a sarcastic tone from her). She just did not do anything about it. After 4 minutes of asking for her name, she finally gave it to me, while she was annoyed that I asked for her name. read more

I love five guys! But this one in particular is my favorite. The place is outrageously clean, they have an outdoor seated area and the staff there is extremely friendly. The burgers are big and juicy but you'll definitely need a nap after eating one. I'm so glad they opened up this five guys and I can't wait to keep coming when I'm in the need of a juicy burger. I gave this place a 5/5 because for a chained burger place the burgers are so delicious! read more

Great location, as it was always kind of quiet here with the previous Pathmark and Auto Zone. But with so many other businesses, like Supercuts, Starbucks, Aldi, Burlington, etc, the large parking lot does fill up quickly and you can't drive around easily with so many pedestrians. Ordering was fast. As soon as someone noticed us standing by the register, a girl came over to take our order. She was very friendly and sweet, repeating back our order to make sure she got it right. It was a quiet Saturday, so there weren't a lot of customers. We didn't have to wait long for our food to be ready and it's always fun watching them prepare it in front of you through the clear glass. I got pickles on mine and they were generous with the amount! Have their customary free peanuts near where you order. Have those new soda machines with a large variety of drink options. As my husband picked up the order, the guy putting together the food/our bag was also very upbeat and energetic. I was pleasantly surprised at that kind of customer service. Actually felt welcomed and as if they were happy enough to be there. Burgers were juicy, patties on the thicker side, and had the natural flavor of beef instead of any other fillers/sauces/salt. They did forget my tomatoes though. Fries were not fresh. A little burnt taste aftertaste, chewy and stale, as if they were reheated or they used old oil. Hopefully this was just a fluke! This is the new location in East Brunswick. Finally a five guys in Route 18. They have the new soda machine kiosk thing which is awesome. Went on the weekend they opened and it was packed to the gills. Customer service was friendly and fast. The burger was on point with the only exception being the fries. Always serve a mouth watering, delicious burger, shakes are also very good. If you are allergic to peanuts this is definitely not the place to go though not to say that that should deter people from going here in any way shape or form it's just very important for people who are highly allergic. This was a better than expected burger joint/ I usually don't eat at fast food chain s, but saw the high reviews, an decided to give this place a shot. It was good, but I wouldn't say it was spectacular! We had quick service, and we got our order in quickly! I got a regular burger with lettuce, tomato, and onions. The veggies tasted like fresh veggies, but the burger with parts on its own, were extremely dry! It was very crumbly in texture, but when you have it with the veggies, with the nice clear bite. I guess i like my burgers more well-done, and here they only have burgers medium cooked. The fries were good, some a bit too salty. I also got a peanut butter milkshake. It had such a strong peanut butter, and it was so creamy, I thought it was the best milkshake ever! Overall, good, but I'm not sure if I'd come back anytime soon! The staff is pleasant, and there is a wide choice of menu items. But I only like my burgers rare, and this establishment will only prepare burgers medium or more, which isn't to my liking. If people like their burgers more cooked, I do recommend this restaurant. read more

Oh how I love having a Five Guys so close to my home! I went to the Five Guys in Tennessee and I loved it. I didn't realize that they finally opened one up until a month ago! Well it use to be good. Fries are greasy and there 10.00 beacon burger has only 2 or 3 small piece of bacon on it. And the 1 out of the 3 times I ordered my bacon burger came with no bacon I mean really come on you order a bacon burger and no bacon!!!. Easj time I ordered they forget something I mean you will not stay in business if that keeps happening. I've been going to Five Guys probably twice a month for a while now. I went last night, placed my order over the phone. When I arrived there was a good number of people waiting for their food inside. I went to the register to pay. A young lady came up to the register and I noticed her mask was not covering her nose. To me, if this is the case, it's like not wearing a mask at all. I pointed to her nose and she covered and said 'sorry', which was fine. I paid and waited for my food. As I waited I noticed 3 more employees had the same issue. Only 1 employee was wearing his mask correctly. When my name was called I walked over to the counter and took the bag. I told the young gent he was wearing his mask wrong. He just responded and said 'ok', but did nothing with his mask. I repeated myself to prompt him to fix it, but all he did was say 'ok'. I have to say that if that's the attitude for people who prepare food for the public I won't be returning to Five Guys. Just not the correct attitude during this pandemic. I wish I could've written a good review about their food, but some things are more important. read more

They say the third time time is a charm. I took a chance and went to a Five Guys Burger place the third time. These places were in three different states and one would assume differing results. Yet, no such luck. The fries in all three places were plentiful, but a greasy and unappetizing mess. The fries at NJ--1836 on Racetrack Dr were the absolute worst, though. I spent $4.99 on a large order and ended up throwing most away - in edible. How can they claim "Best Fries" in any place is beyond believe.
