Since we have had good experiences at other WAWAs in other cities, then we expected to experience the same here. We had reached the halfway point from Orlando to Miami and got hungry. It was late at night. We knew that they would be open. We ordered our favorite Turkey and bacon toasted sandwiches as we always do but these weren't as good as the others that we have had. Things happen and we can overlook something like that. But the next thing to happen was unforgivable in my book. The ladies bathroom had no toilet paper!! I went to ask the guy at the counter for TP and he said he didn't have any extra but that I should go over to the coffee stand and grab some napkins there. I went over there but there were no napkins of any kind there. I went back to the employee but he said they must be out of TP. He didn't even check the men's bathroom for extra. You think he would have checked stock items when he started his shift and ordered some. Luckily, my daughter had extra tissues and napkins in her handbag to save the day for both of us. Future visitors to the bathroom would be in trouble. I would not stop in here again in the future. read more

I ordered a chicken quesadilla sandwich like I normally do but the two women behind the counter making meals after meals were scaring me. They were not wiping down the counter at all. All the liquid and juices were accumulated on the wooden counter. They finally gave me my sandwich and I had to ask for the store manager to return the chicken quesadilla. I told him why and I don't really think he understood or really cared. If the State of Florida showed up, maybe he would care more. I'm only gonna go to Wawa now for fuel or coffee. A really clean and impressive gas station. Clean bathrooms. Good selection of snacks, sodas, wine and beer. There is a separate part that is a self-order hot food counter. My husband got a quesadilla and I got a small side of original Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese was so good I inhaled it in 5 minutes. Friendly chatty cashiers. We stopped at this Wawa to get some food as we drove back to Fort Lauderdale. Loved using their iPAD ordering system, although you can also order using the mobile phone APP. They have so many great options of panini, sandwiches, burgers and fries, hoagies, quesadillas, salads, burritos, bowls, soups, etc. I have always found the food at Wawa to be good tasting and good value. Great little WaWa spot. Always nice stopping in on longer drives. I like that it inadvertently serves as a Tesla advertisement because of all the sweet rides sitting and charging in the stations. I didn't know WaWa offered cafecito, colada and cortadito options so Major Major kudos and thanks. I admittedly just mixed it all together after realizing that the cortadito alone wasn't enough. My coworkers helped themselves to an assortment of energy drinks and fruit and all was well. This is always a stop during work hours for us and you should give it a shot too. This particular Wawa is not far off of Interstate 95, so it is a convenient stop for travelers going up or down the highway. It is great to see Wawa growing so much throughout Florida. Wawa is so much more than a mere gas station, they offer the full range of convenience store items inside as well as their food station, which is where you can get a full range of meals 24/7, but they are probably most known for their subs (or as they call it, "hoagies"). This is far beyond mere gas station food offerings. The subs (or "hoagies" as they call them) are actually good. My go-to has been their Italian sub. The cheesesteaks are not bad either. This location also has sixteen gas pumps. The service is friendly and professional and the experience was an overall positive experience. I would definitely recommend this Wawa. read more

First, I love Wawa. Our oldest daughter turned me on the 'oh so much more than a gas station with food'! Wawa does great drinks and made to order food along with a ready made grab and go. ordered a caramel coffee, ordered the same amount of sugar syrup everything as i ALWAYS DO. the coffee tasted like it only had milk in it, no big deal just wanted to see what my options were. called the store and whoever the manager was at 7:50am did not handle this the proper way. i attempted to explain i ordered the coffee the same way i always do and it does not taste the way it did for me this morning. instead of hearing me out, she kept cutting me off, defending the worker (as she should- but at least hear me out) and not allowing me to explain myself or figure out what's possible. spent around $6 just for them to not make it correctly or even offer anything to help. i don't expect royalty treatment but some respect would be nice. WOW!!! This place is AMAZING for a gas station! Wawa individually packages each donut, and at the low cost of $0.99 cents. I ordered the junior veggie combo with Mac and Cheese, which both were delicious. I was shocked to see that ALL of the fountain drink sizes were only $0.99 cents. I grabbed the largest DrPepper, which was 44oz. I liked that Wawa had a contactless ordering machine, and how friendly the staff were when I got a bit confused. Very nice rest stop in Fort Pierce Wawa, Inc. is an American chain of convenience stores and gas stations located along the East Coast of the United States. Approximately 200 of the 900 WaWa stores are located in the state of Florida. This particular store is located off Fl 70, also known as Okeechobee road, to the east of both the Florida Turnpike and US 95 on the south side of the road. It was built within the last few years and is relatively new as of this review. There are about 20 gasoline pumps under cover to the north of the main building and 5 tesla chargers to the south side of the building. The area and outside was relatively clean even though it was consistently busy when we were there. The inside of the store was clean and the staff was friendly. They have items to purchase, a place to order prepared food/drinks and restrooms. We ordered a chicken bowl. It was prepared quickly and was quite good and reasonably priced. There were several, both standup and 4 person sit-down, tables outside and parking all around the structure. Overall, I would recommend this as a nice place to stop on your travels. Enjoy. read more

Conveniently located just east of Interstate 95 on Okeechobee Road in Fort Pierce, this is the dirtiest Wawa I've ever visited. While they have plenty of parking - and I mean plenty - the floors of the store itself were strewn with trash and the coffee bar wasn't much better with spilled milk and sugar wrappers thrown about. I tried to take photos but was stopped by a female staff member after taking a few. I was told "no photos allowed." Never heard that one before. I was going to order breakfast but ended up with coffee and two candy bars. If what I could see was dirty, just image what I couldn't see. For people wearing masking and scared of a 98% survival rate virus this place is very messy. The pictures may not show it but trust me this place look like a hurricane went through it. I walked in and between both doors there is trash, the computer screens are dirty like someone got mud all over them and someone casually cleaned it off. The guys bathroom was closed probably because of how badly trashed it is. By the soda fountain just soda and spilled drinks every where. Thank God they put up a yellow cone. That solved the problem....not. I normally love wawa, I love their coffee, their clean restrooms and their stores are normally very clean. This place is just going down hill. I stop here every Thursday afternoon on my commute home and they NEVER have all selections of coffee available. Out of eight or so available coffees, I am lucky to find one that is full. Sometimes I am combining 2 or 3 types of coffee just to get one 12 oz cup of coffee for my drive home. The coffee bar area suffers the same problem. I've found the creamer selection nearly depleted and the trash over flowing. On one occasion I had to go searching for a lid. Seriously this is a brand new store and this is the service it provides. Coffee is a basic staple at WaWa. Maybe the morning crew is better prepared or maybe they just want you to buy their specialty coffees from the kiosk. read more

It was late Friday night after 9pm and we needed something to offer at an impromptu family gathering concerning the passing of a friend. We need Wawa would have coffee and an assortment of baked pastries, what we didn't know if that Russel the food management head was going to go out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. They dispensed 3 cartons of Colombian and Cuban roast coffee, gave us unopened creamers of our choice, sugar and all the cups we needed. It was late and the baked pastries were fully stocked. All the staff was friendly, helpful and Russel made us feel his heartwarming condolences in the way of initiative and genuine concern. Usually I love Wawa sometimes it leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I purchased my things before work every night here. I want to make a purchase of a beef jerky and it was in the wrong place but not 1 the entire stock. In this situation the manager usually gives me the product for the price listed because of the mistake. So the manager do you know obviously need to learn etiquette. He would not give it to me at the discounted price so I did not make the purchase at all.
