We were starving, tired, and honestly a little seasick still, and this place delivered exactly what we were craving: hot, salty, crispy, greasy perfection. The bacon egg and cheese was juicy and salty, the hash browns were piping hot and perfectly seasoned (that first salty crunch after a week of flavorless "gourmet" potatoes from the ship was LIFE-CHANGING)! The staff was super friendly even though we rolled in looking like we'd been shipwrecked--quick service, fresh food, and they even threw in extra napkins without us asking, sometimes you get one napkin per item - but not today - hold me back! After 7 days of bland, under seasoned, lukewarm cruise buffet food that all started tasting the same by day 3, stepping into this McDonald's felt like coming home to actual flavor If you've just gotten off a cruise and your taste buds are begging for something bold, familiar, and downright delicious, this McDonald's is the MVP. 10/10, would devour again immediately. We've stopped here for food a few times on our way to/from Miami. Once I ordered through the app and they canceled my order. I wish I could give zero stars....We tried to call them about 5-6 times this evening, but of course there was no answer. My son went to pick up sandwiches for us for dinner. When given his tea, he took a drink and had to spit it out. The tea had soured. When he told the person at the window, she was very short with him and claimed that there was nothing wrong with it. He was given another drink. He got home and we noticed that they shorted us a Quarter Pound burger, only the burger as I did not order the meal. His dad, my granddaughter and he sat down to eat when they all noticed that their burgers were totally raw. (Two double 1/4 pounders and 2 regular cheeseburgers). They threw them away. Not a place most of you will drive to, not a place I'd normally stop. But I'm on a road trip and my kiddo asked for McD's so here we are. Aside from the food which is standard McD, the place was actually very clean and well-stocked with napkins, straws etc. This is the ONLY McD's I have ever been to where the manager and an employee approached (separately, and with a SMILE!) asking 1)was our order correct and 2)were we stisfied with the food. I wish I could give it a 0. The lady working made us wait for 10 minutes before we could order, just to tell us that they didn't have any water or chicken nuggets. When we brought up the fact that they hadn't asked for our code and the sign stated that we would receive a free cookie if they forgot to ask, the young lady said that "they don't do that and the sign just hasn't been updated." One more try, one more failure. The ONLY reason this place stays in business, is because it's in a truck stop, and we truckers are basically at the mercy of what's available. So, I watched The Founder the other day. You now, the movie about Ray Kroc, traveling the country, finding inconsistent and subpar restaurants? My, how the tables have turned, since this McDonald's was inconsistent from the rest of the chain, and subpart to the rest of the world. The kiddo wanted an ice cream cone, easy enough. Kind of noteworthy, since my daughter is a teenager, and doesn't demand ice cream all the time, so she had some sort of urge as we traveled up the coast on I95. Oh guess, what - they don't have any ice cream, so no shakes or cones. There's a certain irony to this, since the cashier diligently repeated her programmed "would you like to try a peppermint shake today?" WHAT IF I HAD SAID YES??? Ok, setting aside the thought of bewildering the programmed cashier, let's just get a Coke and go. As I am handing the cashier the money, a lady walks up, quite irate. She starts barking the machine is out of soda. The cashier turns to her and says "I thought it was just Dr. Pepper". The lady informs her all of the soda machines are broken. My $2 still hanging in the balance ("I want my two dollarssssss" Better off dead, anyone?) Anyway, my $2 still hanging midair, the cashier hollers to the manager, who informs the cashier (and the lady), they are "working on it." So apparently if you do not want to take your receipt, especially because the food was already at the counter, you will be berated by the black lady behind the counter.. I simply told her I do not need the receipt. For some strange reason she told me that I had to take it, so I left it there and then she started to call me rude, gross and a bunch of other names in front of other customers... So as she continued running her mouth while I ate my food to say the least I felt a little bit uncomfortable... Drive thru is never open (defeats the purpose of fast food) they make you come inside and there's nobody working the register, have to use the machine kiosk which is a pain in the butt and takes forever (also defeats the purpose of fast food). Half the staff are rude, the other half have no clue what's going on (but are polite). I don't know which one is worse, save your time and money and go down the road. read more

When you are crossing between I-95 and Turnpike at Ft Pierce this is one of the busy fast food places. Seems to be very well run, almost always clean considering the Bus loads of people stopping. I found it to be just the opposite, that it's got some of the better service for a McD's. The food is fresh and our orders have always been correct. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. Came in at 11:00, asked for two biscuits. Ordered quickly, no one in line. Then we waited and waited and waited. Asked status, ignored. Meanwhile tons of people come, get order & go. Asked again, no help. Drive through customers helped, still we were ignored. Other person in line got mad that drive thru was served quickly, ahead of people waiting inside, which was true. We could see orders on monitors and our order of just 2 biscuits was skipped over and over again. After 30 minutes, we asked AGAIN & saw cashier tell cook to START on our biscuits. At that point we asked for our money back and manager (?) said no! She copped an attitude & said "everybody knows that biscuits are prepared last". Really? Wow. (I see, so it's OUR fault.) So why didn't cashier tell us that 30 min before? So we could've just waited an hour?? Manager (female, chubby, short, Hispanic, Brown / bleached curly hair) was very rude & abrasive, never an apology, just walked off running her mouth. You'll recognize her from her attitude!
