Stopped by Sonic for what I thought would be a Happy Hour deal. I ordered two drinks and two corn dogs, which came to $10. Even though it wasn't Happy Hour, I had seen online that corn dogs were supposed to be half off, but that wasn't the case when I got there. However, the corn dogs were fresh as I had requested, which was a plus. One thing that didn't sit right with me was the additional charge for flavoring and candy in the drinks. Stop at Sonic at noon on Sunday (June 30, 2025) and ordered hamburgers, fries, and one soda. The service was quite good, but the food was not. The hamburgers tasted like they had been kept on the back burner because they were cold inside. The fries seemed to have been re-fried most likely in cold oil because they were soaking greased. We could not finish our orders and left. This is the first time Sonic Drive-In ever disappointed me to the point of writing a bad review. I left and started eating the fries that were almost too hard to eat and the burger I ordered with just the bun, burger, cheese, bacon (which is also hard as a brick) and garlic butter, came with onions and looks like mustard (which wasn't and option for me to remove). This Sonic has it down! I've been to Sonic's where I truly feel like you're waiting forever. 15-20 minutes for a Cherry Limeade is kind of ridiculous if you ask me, but not this location. If it were closer to home, I'd be there every freaking day. I noticed that it was not too busy when I entered, which honestly means nothing to me based on other locations. The pull up parking spot with order screen looked new and both the order button and the card reader worked, which again, isn't something I'm used to in other locations. I placed my order, saw my total on the screen and paid with my credit card. Probably three minutes or less later, my drink was at my car! I do miss the days when they had skates on, but I'm not going to be greedy, I'm just happy to get my drink sooner rather than later. My diet cherry limeade was delicious and I was on my way. The people who work here refuse to answer for any orders unless you drive up to the window and they "don't have ice cream" which means they don't want to clean the ice cream machine even though it's HOURS before close and they're all just standing around eating inside the building, no masks in sight of course. Conveniently located, Good food. This is located on the north side of the road to the east of I-95. It is fairly easy to get to, has plenty of spots for either parking for ordering food while sitting in your car. We decided to partake of the drive through on this stop. Beverly (according to the receipt) was so patient with our kids being indecisive in the drive through, she even double checked the order when we pulled around. Superior customer service! I am a 19 year old college student. And I decided to go and try sonic today. It was pouring about an hour before and the weather had calmed down to sprinkling rain/very light showers. Considering that factor, I was impressed with the speed of the delivery from the order. What I wasn't impressed with was the waitress who brought out my food. When the waitress brought my food, the first thing she said was: "Can I ask you why you decided to park all the way out here?" I just laughed it off and apologized because I thought she was joking. However, she then asked me again why I parked where I had. (I was at stall #13 FYI). So I'm not sure if she was joking or being disrespectful.
