The store is large, clean and only about five years old. It's a baby compared to the monstrously large Walgreen's we have a block away, but sometimes it's nice to go small. Easier to navigate for picking up a quick prescription or to buy over the counter meds. If you only need to pick up a prescription they have a drive thru window, which is nice when you really just want to get home or are in a hurry. They also offer great deals with their one hour photo lab. Their weekly ads have many buy one get one free deals and if you apply for their extra rewards shoppers card you are rewarded with savings on many items from soda to paper towels and can even use it on line to shop or to check your balance. They have your typical aisles of cheap make up and colognes, snacks, household needs, home remedies, cards, seasonal, animal supplies and baby needs. When they have their buy one get one free viatamins I always stock up. Service is quick and friendly and I like how they keep the store well organized and clean. Hubby recently ran into a bush and scratched his eye, don't even ask me how he did it, think he needs to wear protective goggles, since having Lasik surgery done and not used to being without protective eye gear. He went to the ER they cleaned and treated his eye and gave him a prescription for eye drops. Now the co-pay was only nine dollars, but his eye felt totally better before he opened up the bag with the drops in it. He insisted on taking it back and I said they are never going to take it back, well they did and refunded him his money! Not sure I agree with it, but they made hubby happy, which makes me happy. Got to get rid of that attack bush.

I would like to start by saying every time I come it seems the employees are listening to a conference call on sales, procedures, etc. This last time pushed me over the edge though as they were completing inventory or something and had conference call at the same time. When the new employee I never saw before treated me like I was an inconvenience being a "customer" of their pharmacy. Isn't this how the pharmacy makes money lol? Anyway I finally got approved for a Dexcom meter to help treat my diabetes and after verbally on the phone they stated the Dexcom receiver should be free I was charged $87.50. Wait it gets better, I bought the transmitter kit which you need to communicate with the sensors you wear and no sensors were included, this also cost $87.50. Now I am left with a receiver which I find out I didn't even need as your phone can complete the readings and a transmitter with no sensors. Looking at the bright side that I am closer to achieving my goal to eventually have an apple watch that I can easily see my readings but sheesh man they do not make it easy here at CVS or help the customer in the least bit. I loved the interaction where the associate tried to charge me $175 for a bottle of insulin and I said that's ok you can keep it. He seemed very confused like I was the first customer to say I didn't want a script that the pharmacy filled after hearing the price. If you're not from PA, you probably don't have to deal with the antiquated liquor laws we have to abide by -- beer sold in specials stores, you can only buy large cases (no 6 packs, kids, PA encourages drinking heavily?) and beer distributors usually aren't the prettiest places, after all, it's basically a warehouse for beer. I walked in expecting a dimly lit and kind of dirty store, which is what I got -- but it is somehow oddly comforting. Beer Boyz a few miles away is lit up like daylight and it's kind of unsettling. Not a minute after I walk in, an employee asks me if I need help finding anything to which I tell him, "Leffe." He tries to sound like he knows what he's talking about by telling me how it's one of those German beers -- I immediately correct him and let him know it's Belgian -- but he takes me straight to it and picks up a case for (what a gentleman!). Each employee I dealt with was polite, friendly and helpful. I can't speak to their actual pharmacy department, but as for customer service, photo and the general store, a good five solid stars.

County Farms is a family owned convenience store, which has changed hands and friendly families,…read moreseveral times. This store is in walking distance for me, which makes it even more convenient. It is not a chain, it is a one of a kind store. They have a good selection of fresh dairy products, breads, lunch meats, cheese and snacks. What I really love about them being nearby is their stock of pantry supplies, cat food and over the counter medicine cabinet needs. They do carry some toiletries. I rarely shop here, but they are here when I need them, seven days a week. They have an ATM, with a surcharge, cigarettes, cigars and they sell the lottery, both instants and the weekly games. They brew fresh coffee, have all the newspapers, girlie magazines ( under wrap ) and serve soft pretzels. They carry several varieties of ice creams, one of which is Hershey's and I do love their ice cream. I especially love them when I am baking and run out of something that I need for the recipe. This to me is priceless. So, when I run low and don't feel like running out or I need to get my lottery, they are convenient.

FRom what I could see, there were a lot of in store sales and had a lot of coupons running, if I had more time I would of shopped longer, but I was in a rush to head home. The pharmacist who helped us, Azem, was extremely nice and helpful. He didn't mind we were last minute and stopped what he was doing so we could have her prescription before they closed. I couldn't believe how kind and happy he was. It was extremely refreshing.

The Philadelphia area needs more diesel pumps and this station provided quite a few, back on their…read moreown islands. I don't need that much diesel fuel on a trip, but it's the everyday, brake-and-go traffic that kills the fuel economy. The other day, I got stuck in a traffic backup because of 3 bank robbers and I was diverted from going down State Road 320 to taking Wynnewood, is it? I remember taking that as an alternative when I lived in the area and coming out around Narberth, and crossing somewhere, ending up in Havertown. Well, not that day, and I ended up wasting a lot of fuel mostly sitting. In any case, on my way out of town, this station was there, and since I don't know the quality of Lukoil (all fuel has minimal stanards, but I don't need surprises for any of 600 miles.) I know Sunoco, good or bad. The pump worked fine from card to fill to receipt. I didn't have an A+ card, so no rewards (oh, that's where the AM/PM went, to A+) so it just took my bank card. It even returned it to me. The one thing that was bad was that there was diesel fuel all over the pump. I didn't see any paper towels, but maybe I missed them. It seemed just to be pumps only back there but there were plenty of them. They weren't terribly high on price but that's because they're all kind of high on price, don't you think?
