I would like to start by saying every time I come it seems the employees are listening to a conference call on sales, procedures, etc. This last time pushed me over the edge though as they were completing inventory or something and had conference call at the same time. When the new employee I never saw before treated me like I was an inconvenience being a "customer" of their pharmacy. Isn't this how the pharmacy makes money lol? Anyway I finally got approved for a Dexcom meter to help treat my diabetes and after verbally on the phone they stated the Dexcom receiver should be free I was charged $87.50. Wait it gets better, I bought the transmitter kit which you need to communicate with the sensors you wear and no sensors were included, this also cost $87.50. Now I am left with a receiver which I find out I didn't even need as your phone can complete the readings and a transmitter with no sensors. Looking at the bright side that I am closer to achieving my goal to eventually have an apple watch that I can easily see my readings but sheesh man they do not make it easy here at CVS or help the customer in the least bit. I loved the interaction where the associate tried to charge me $175 for a bottle of insulin and I said that's ok you can keep it. He seemed very confused like I was the first customer to say I didn't want a script that the pharmacy filled after hearing the price. Each employee I dealt with was polite, friendly and helpful. I can't speak to their actual pharmacy department, but as for customer service, photo and the general store, a good five solid stars.

County Farms is a family owned convenience store, which has changed hands and friendly families,…read moreseveral times. This store is in walking distance for me, which makes it even more convenient. It is not a chain, it is a one of a kind store. They have a good selection of fresh dairy products, breads, lunch meats, cheese and snacks. What I really love about them being nearby is their stock of pantry supplies, cat food and over the counter medicine cabinet needs. They do carry some toiletries. I rarely shop here, but they are here when I need them, seven days a week. They have an ATM, with a surcharge, cigarettes, cigars and they sell the lottery, both instants and the weekly games. They brew fresh coffee, have all the newspapers, girlie magazines ( under wrap ) and serve soft pretzels. They carry several varieties of ice creams, one of which is Hershey's and I do love their ice cream. I especially love them when I am baking and run out of something that I need for the recipe. This to me is priceless. So, when I run low and don't feel like running out or I need to get my lottery, they are convenient.

Today we spent 2 hours in urgent care and rushed to this CVS to pick my daughter's prescription up…read more10 minutes before the closed. The pharmacist who helped us, Azem, was extremely nice and helpful. He didn't mind we were last minute and stopped what he was doing so we could have her prescription before they closed. I couldn't believe how kind and happy he was. It was extremely refreshing.

The Philadelphia area needs more diesel pumps and this station provided quite a few, back on their…read moreown islands. I don't need that much diesel fuel on a trip, but it's the everyday, brake-and-go traffic that kills the fuel economy. The other day, I got stuck in a traffic backup because of 3 bank robbers and I was diverted from going down State Road 320 to taking Wynnewood, is it? I remember taking that as an alternative when I lived in the area and coming out around Narberth, and crossing somewhere, ending up in Havertown. Well, not that day, and I ended up wasting a lot of fuel mostly sitting. In any case, on my way out of town, this station was there, and since I don't know the quality of Lukoil (all fuel has minimal stanards, but I don't need surprises for any of 600 miles.) I know Sunoco, good or bad. The pump worked fine from card to fill to receipt. I didn't have an A+ card, so no rewards (oh, that's where the AM/PM went, to A+) so it just took my bank card. It even returned it to me. The one thing that was bad was that there was diesel fuel all over the pump. I didn't see any paper towels, but maybe I missed them. It seemed just to be pumps only back there but there were plenty of them. They weren't terribly high on price but that's because they're all kind of high on price, don't you think?
