(Many other places I researched charged) From my understanding, this organization attempts to refurbish the equipment and recycles what is unusable. I love the idea, but I grant them a low rating because of limited times allowed for this service. I imagine that trying to get there during the allotted once a month Friday drop-off time during business hours would be difficult for many people. Also, I found driving around Elgin a little tricky. Many of the streets were closed, so I struggled to find the place. Once I got there, however, I found the people there incredibly easygoing and helpful. The program was easy to follow - fill out a form, drop your stuff at the dock - a guy helped unload. I left them with a monitor, two printers, desktop and many cords. Good deed done.
