It did take some time getting all of the equipment & parts needed, so if you are looking to put in a system for a particular event, I would plan well-in advance. However, we were kept informed. The basement is not entirely finished because it is used mostly by my teenage kiddos & their friends, but we did want an outstanding entertainment system for them to watch movies & play games. We opted for a projector & screen. We also wanted to integrate the Philips Hue system for a backlighting on the screen that coordinates with the picture. He & his colleagues built speaker boxes for us & the frame behind the screen upon which the lighting strip would rest. It came out amazing! They did an outstanding job. One year later, and all is still running smoothly. I have not had to reach back out to them for anything so far, but I was left with a strong impression that if we needed help with anything we would just be able to call. I feel confident that they would be supportive given the experience we had throughout the initial process.

If I ran a business and someone called to explain that they needed some Cat5e cables terminated, a switch, skeleton rack and a few wireless access points, I would give them a heads up if I thought my quote was going to come in anywhere near $7,500 and ask if they still wanted me to come out. Granted, I could probably swap out a decent amount of the enterprise grade equipment on the quote and cut it down a couple thousand, but it would still be outrageous. I would be cautious unless you are alright with potentially throwing $149 down the drain. +1 star because the tech who came to my home to give me a quote was on time, friendly, and professional.

I used Asaya/Skokie for a laptop conversion, switching out the Microsoft OS on my new laptop for…read moreLinux - Open Suse OS. Aziz agreed to do the work for what I felt was a reasonable fee. His fee in included providing me with a copy of the Microsoft OS and the Open Suse installation. But Aziz warned me that he would charge me if I needed MS Office restored. However when I picked up the laptop, Aziz had loaded Ubuntu instead. He explained that there were too many problems when he tried to load Open Suse on this new computer. Initially I agreed to the substitution until I discovered that Ubuntu is more unstable version of Linux than Open Suse. In addition it's not user friendly at all. I had so many issues that I went weeks without a working laptop. When I called him for assistance, Aziz said he had to research the issue online - then he would call me back. One and a half weeks later he called asking whether I still had the same issue. When I said yes, he said he would research it. ( I thought he was already researching the issue.) In the end I requested the ISO copy of my original Microsoft OS so I could restore it to the original version. But he said he was unable to make an ISO copy due to the laptops compartmentalization (?). Instead he offered to restore the Microsoft OS for no charge. 1) I wish I had been informed about the Ubuntu substitution before the completion of the work. 2) Granted, Aziz did not charge me for the Microsoft OS restoration, and I acknowledge he invested a lot of time in working on my laptop, But he kept the money I paid for the Open Suse installation and never delivered on the original contracted service. 3) He does not like people to just show up at the store. He's insistent that people call before stopping by. Bottom Line- I would not recommend Aziz for any Linux related conversions or Linux related repair services. And be very aware that he has a no refund policy - even if you don't receive the service you contracted for.

He assessed what we had in the home currently and made a few upgrade recommendations to take our system to the next level. What I appreciated most was that August didn't sell us a bunch of stuff we didn't need and explained everything in a way that was easily understandable. Quality Connection's service team was extremely professional and did an amazing job during the install. They were very willing to work with us to place the speakers in a location that we wanted, even if it meant a little more work on their part. The team took great pride in their work, setting everything up as I would expect (clean, wiring out of sight, etc.) and even took the time to walk me through what they were going to do before they did it. What impressed me the most was that the team went above and beyond, organizing​ the mess of wires we had formerly in our audio cabinet, and recalibrating our surround sound speakers for optimal sound quality. The logistics of buying are always taxing which is to say nothing of moving and initial setup. It was this "initial setup" where Auggie and his team's expertise shined to quickly bring our new home from an ominous "TODO list" to a place that we felt both comfortable and safe. Auggie started by first walking through the home with me and demonstrating his encyclopedic knowledge of all things pertaining to connectivity, audio & visual hardware, as well as monitoring & security. He not only used his knowledge to enumerate the options available to us but really demonstrated a commitment/empathy to our needs which were prioritizing safety, connectivity and then conservatively scaling into A/V options (having just dropped a lot of cash on a down payment). There was no upselling. He built us a min-viable plan while providing cost-tiered options thereafter (for us to both get a sense of trade-offs but also for us to have a sense of what to consider long-term). It felt selfish on my part in that I did not have to do deep research on these different subjects but rather I could pose my "stupid" and numerous questions to Auggie to be met with a quick reply that capably addressed my knowledge gap. He made it easy for us to decide to work with him. Once we aligned on scope, execution came next. On this side of things, there existed the same, relentless commitment to customer satisfaction. Despite having many concurrent projects at the time (also a good signal), they worked hard to set us up quickly after moving into our new home. The installation staff was prompt, diligent and professional in setting up our home but also very affable and patient with respect to walking me through how to understand and utilize our system. We are very happy in our new home thanks to Auggie and his team. There's more work to be done in the future and, based on our full experience, we will certainly call upon Auggie when that time comes
